Molfetta was suppose to help us with a timeshare and he is not responding to phone calls

Still trying to get out of my timeshare. It was to be settled three years ago. Not resolved. Terran did not get us out of the timeshar...no buy back plan, yet he id not let us know they could help us. Took $7,000from us. not responding to calls/emails. any ideas? read more

I was lied to and told that they negotiated a settlement with my timeshare company and so I sent them the money to pay off the timeshare and they are now ghosting me. The timeshare company said that they didn't receive anything. read more

I hired Michael Molfetta to get me out of my Wyndham timeshare eight years ago when he promised it would take no more than 12 months. 33 months later, he had me sign an NDA saying that Wyndham and he had reached a successful exit plan for me, which would then be disclosed. I have heard nothing from him in the past 4 years. He does not answer his Phone, does not receive certified Mail. I am in a bind because Wyndham won't talk to me because I am represented by this unscrupulous attorney. read more

I did all that was asked of me including paying them in full an amount that I found substantial. I have never heard from them since then. The matter remains unresolved after more than one year. The phone numbers listed do not seem to be working as the recording tells me that the party can't be reached and the other sounds like a fax. I have sent emails and a certified letter but never heard from that office. Yes, he appears to be dishonest. read more

My experience with them SUCKS. They were hired as a Timeshare exit company. I've been in bed with them for over two years, & the only time I hear from them is when I call, (Oh & then I only get the answering machine). I've NEVER gotten any updates at all as to how my case is going. No one has EVER called me. In two years with my time share company I've never missed a morgage or maintance payment. I am SO disappointed. I had seen some potential in this firm and trusted the person who recommended them. It's sad and frustrating to see now that the firm appears to have wasted my time and money and gotten my hopes up. I have had the same negative experience as those posting here. Promises and then totally ghosted. There must have been a chance at one point because things just were on hold with the exit- then I suspect this firm had plans to bail around July 2024 when things changed. I sent certified mail, someone signed and never answered. So now I call and the phone number no longer works. I'm sickened .... almost 3 years wasted. They lied about getting out of our timeshare in 6 months. It took 2 years and we had to keep paying our dues and couldn't use our points They sat on it and blamed world mark for not being able to get out sooner. I think they worked with worldmark to get more money from us. We were told it was sold and we still paid 2 more months. I finally talked to worldmark and we got out of it. Me n my husband have been duped as well on promises of our timeshare exit( Wyndham) . This was over 2 years ago and have talked to them several times and get same answer will follow up and just waiting on Resort to comply so very disappointing we unfortunally gave them money and now can't even get thru to anyone. I started a case with law firm almost 2 years ago to get out of my time share. I have left multiple messages and sent emails, and no one ever calls me back. I was told this was an easy case and would be resolved within 6 months. I am very unhappy with this firm. I do not recommend if trying to get out of a time share. read more

My father and I had an excellent experience with Teran Mawhinney and Molfetta law. My parents were stuck in a timeshare that they weren't able to get out of and the property was going into foreclosure. This is NOT a scam! I paid lot of money to first lawyer that was supposed to cancel timeshare. He left his firm and Molfetta Law took over my case and he was able to cancel my timeshare!!! Guys please be patient I been waiting for 5 years all together to get out! It took Molfetta Law 2 and half years to get us out. It is very unclear if this was ever a true business with honest people. After being scammed from Timeshare Freedom Group, Molfetta Law claims they have been in litigation for over two years with Wyndham, and has finally closed out the lawsuit, and is giving me an exit option, but it comes with a cost. Of course, more money at my expense! I am pretty sure he said he was working on this "pro bono" meaning FREE, and he is on video. This firm has been working on this case, yet fails to provide case information, such as a case number, which is public information. There is always documentation, yet Molfetta Law cannot provide any. Fortunately, I have not given this firm any money, which I will not give any company money upfront any more, or even on the back end. I am seeking legal action on my own without an attorney. Michael Molfetta is on video claiming that we should not pay money to others, but now is waiting to collect money from victims of scam, like myself. I have 48 hours to respond, and basically pay up, otherwise I'm dropped as a client. So, adios. No more money. I'll figure this out myself. Thank you for wasting my time. To others: do your research. They did nothing that they said they would do. They can not prove that they have done anything to our case. The owner called me and was very angry. He proceeded to call me names and cuss me like a dog, very unprofessional. The firm would not respond to us. I would never recommend or waste my money again. If you read other reviews you will find the same claim over and over. People are not making this up. The firm are only out for themselves and their bottom line. read more

I entered into an agreement to negotiate a timeshare exit/cancelation agreement in Feb 2021. I was charged $5K. The Molfetta firm initially took some administrative action to contact the Resort within the first few months. They did not provide a proposal within the first 24 months per the contract, nor return any contact when I requested a refund in accordance with the agreement within the first 24 months. They created a customer portal in Feb 2022. Portal shows no documentation of activity after Feb 2022 but a statement from the Resort. They did not respond at all to my refund request nor my many emails and phone call messages. I found out the Resort is closing in 2026 and ended up negotiated my own exit agreement in 3 days. Molfetta still has no clue since they have not followed up on my case in almost 2 years. My opinion is customer communications are deficient and they failed to meet the intent and letter of our agreement. They failed to respond to my refund request made timely in writing. You have been warned. They may have helped others but they get a failing grade from me. read more

This company left us high and dry on our exit from our timeshare. They waited until 2 days before our 24month contract guarantee option was up to negotiate a settlement. We wanted to negotiate and then we never heard back from them again. Nothing! Troy Furniss was our representative. That left us with having to deal with a collection agency after we had already paid Molfetta law $4k!!! Unbelievable how they left us hanging out to dry to be burned by the timeshare company. I would not recommend this firm. They do not follow up timely and work in your best interest.
