You found her! For anyone wondering, YES this is the famous…read moremasseuse Linda who used to work down the street ON Magazine. She has now opened an incredible place of her own. I cannot say enough good things about Linda. She has been my masseuse for over 6 years. Now I go to both Linda and Lee (both work here) and both provide amazing massages. You can't go wrong with either. For starters, I should mention that I like intense massage work. I know you can request different pressure levels, but for those who like deep tissue this is your spot. This is a place for a REAL massage. Body work. Do not be fooled by her small stature, she is STRONG. This place is for incredible muscle healing, toxin release, and personally, I like to need an ibuprofen after a massage. Linda has an incredible connection with the human body and she has the ability to feel exactly the areas that need extra work. I can't tell you how many times I have not mentioned something and she picks up on it immediately and heals the area. The space is renovated, clean, full of beautiful light, and an actual relaxing environment. Unlike the place down the street, this place has actual peace inside. NO conversations, NO phone ringing, NO open ceilings and hearing the next room getting their massage (yes, this is a thing) LINDA's massage is beautiful. I love their late hours, because I can go after work. Yes I really have texted at 7:55 to see if they are open and been there at 8:00 pm! I have never just walked in, because I want to make sure they have an opening, but perhaps some do have luck with walk ins. My favorite combination is 30 minute foot massage with an hour body massage, but anything you treat yourself to will be wonderful. Don't be afraid to communicate with them while on the table and let them know what you would like YOUR massage to feel like. It's not offensive to do that, they want you to enjoy your experience. *Linda has a small language barrier when communicating long sentences, but do NOT let that stop you. She easily uses Google translate on her phone and communicates smoothly that way when needed. Her husband helps with communication as well when he is there. * I noticed she has a lot of Google reviews, if you'd like more perspectives.

My uncle and I both got massages from Linda's and everything was wonderful. This location is clean,…read morethe vibes are immaculate, and they are clear professionals. This is the best massage I have ever gotten in my life and cannot recommend them enough!!

Stopped by here during my time in NOLA and had a wonderfully relaxing hour. The atmosphere is so…read morerelaxing from the minute you step through the door. They do a great job customizing the experience to exactly what you want, with add ons and their intake consult form. Desi was a great masseuse, I really loved how she was able to focus a lot of deeper pressure on my shoulders (which needed it!) Thank you

Their administrative policies are a dealbreaker and I just walked out because they wouldn't let me…read moresign-in without uploading my ID. 1. Any time the list of "fees" for their perceived appointment violations is arms-length long ... go somewhere else. 2. I phoned in my appointment and then she wanted to negotiate with me to get my credit card; no way. My appointment was 15 minutes later; I told her I would pay when I arrived ... in 15 minutes. 3. I went to fill out the pre-service form for a wax but it wouldn't upload without my drivers license uploaded - not interested. 4. She said the only way I could bi-pass the uploaded ID requirement was to pay in cash. I said no. 5. She said I was cancelling the appointment then, so I did. 6. Now I noticed that they removed my review from last year; the one where I complained about them wanting you to leave a tip for the front desk employee. I'm sure the wax itself is fine; it was last year. I presume they have a lot of employee turnover as the Aesthetician saw her tip walk away when I walked out the door. Silly policies.

When you wake up achey, it might be time for a massage. I love that this spot offers fully online…read morebooking and that they have services on Sunday! I was able to schedule less than 24 hours in advance (only 1 spot left) and I am so glad I did. My massage therapist was Jackie and she found all the knots and while I thought I was not that bad off, her work proved that I was wrong. Payment was easy online as was the booking. The location is a former home on Magazine Street that does have steps to make it inside, in case that's a challenge for some.

I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Amy and it was incredible. We spoke in the beginning…read moreabout whether there were any areas I really wanted to focus on and she made sure to address those areas. She was methodical and meticulous during the massage including checking in with me to make sure I was doing okay and if there were any adjustments that needed to be made. The massage also included some face rolling with a chilled guasha tools I wasn't expecting it but it felt so nice. I ended up buying one after the massage because I loved how it felt and wanted to incorporate it into my routine. New Orleans has become a regular trip for me so whenever I come back I'll have to book another massage with Amy. Regarding parking, I'm not sure. I took an Uber there. It is on Magazine Street so I think parking may be limited but it's easy to get to with a ride share.
