I've been here three times and received three excellent massages. There are lots of therapists on staff and multiple massage rooms which makes it easy to get in quickly. They always have same-day availability when I call, and they even take walk-ins! I had different therapists each time, and they were all highly skilled. The therapists check with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is good, and they even include hot stones at no extra charge! The rooms are clean and spacious, the entire place is quiet, and the temperature is always perfect. I had the worst experience of any massage that I have ever had in my life. I went for a couples massage with my partner and the staff literally went out of their way to make me feel unwelcome. They were intentionally rude and it was such a horrible experience that I ended the massage early. Then they failed to credit my deposit. I was so upset and just wanted to get away from this horrible place and these unkind people that I just allowed them to keep my deposit. So, they took advantage of me. I will start with saying I get a massage once a month in Florida where I am from. I have had multiple massage therapists over the years and I definitely know the parameters of what a good massage should deliver. My husband and I were both impressed by our session. It was both relaxing and good pressure for working out deep muscle tension and knots. The therapist also used the hot stones towards the end of massage and that was a nice touch. Now, I will say that I am not familiar with all the foot massage and chair massage that goes on in the same place as your traditional massage rooms, but this seems to be a popular thing here in New Orleans. When we were leaving, we saw two woman on a massage chair getting what seemed to be a head and foot massage. I guess in a tourist city there are a lot of people worn out from waking around the French Quarter and they offer different types, lengths and price points of massage that attract more customers. I had a 60 min session and you can choose from 2 options: 60 min of full body w/hot stones or 30 min full body and 30 min foot massage. I opted for the 1st. The room was a typical massage room. Only downsides are the proximity to magazine st...lots of car noise and the sheets. They seemed too flimsy for my liking..i felt like the masseuse might be able to catch a nip glimpse. Lol. Anywho..the masseuse was great! He asked abt my comfort with pressure and the hot stones felt great! This was a really good experience. May just need to bring earplugs and nip covers next time. Easy to make a reservation. We made one for a couples massage the day before. Was told it would be 130$ cash and a $2 charge if using credit card. The masseuses arrived in the room but didn't introduce themselves or ask about problem areas, just started. The massage itself was wonderful...great skill and technique..however make sure to tell the employees you'd rather it stay quiet the whole session because they were both chitchatting with each other and giggling throughout the whole session! Very unprofessional. We expected the usual "is the pressure ok?" questions...even the upsell of CBD oil and cupping, but was caught off guard by the workers chattering with each other. Here's where I take another star off. At the register I was told by the girl that massaged me that the charge will be $150 plus $2 credit card charge. Instead of arguing, I just didn't tip. They offer foot massages, chair massages, and traditional full body massages. The reflexology foot massages are SO relaxing; I highly recommend adding that to your service.
