They rescheduled my appointment by phone twice prior to me ever arriving. Then when I arrived and checked in, I waited a half an hour before asking how long the doctor was running. At THAT point I was told an additional hour and a half! Like I have nothing better to do! It's rude and highly unprofessional. They would have had me wait an entire hour and a half before calling me in without telling me? Are you serious? Having met this doctor before, I can tell you she is extremely arrogant which, in retrospect, should have made me know better than to go back in the first place. There are many better places to go!

I was sad to hear Dr. Newhouse was leaving, but I felt I was in good hands since I read online of how highly other patients recommended her so much. However, I did not get the same impression after meeting with her. For instance, when a doctor asks a patient to have a major non emergency surgery; One would think she would given you time to think it over. Absolutely not her at all, she basically said when do you want to schedule the appointment. One other thing about I found that she is a nonintellectual when it comes to some health issues. I highly do not recommend her as a gyn, unless your looking for someone who is insensitive to female needs and looking more for the old mighty dollar. Wham bam thank you ma'am.

My updated rating and one star are specifically due to my experience with Dr. Kim. As my fertility journey progressed, her demeanor became increasingly cold and dismissive. At one point, when I asked about the possibility of a PCOS diagnosis, I was told I was "just fat." This was not only inappropriate and unprofessional, but also incorrect. I was later formally diagnosed with PCOS. Later, after a biopsy, I was urgently called into the office. I immediately sensed something was wrong. Dr. Kim bluntly told me I had uterine cancer with no compassion or empathy. What made the situation even more upsetting was that she then told me IT WAS MY FAULT, stating that I had caused it by stopping a medication and that she had warned me not to come off it and that cancer was a risk. This is completely untrue. I was extremely diligent throughout my treatment, took notes at every visit, and followed all guidance closely. I was specifically told, "Let's put you on this for a year and then come off of it and try again," as part of a plan to help me conceive. At no point was I told that stopping the medication would increase my risk of cancer. Overall, her bedside manner was consistently poor, and I came to dread appointments because of my interactions with her. Thankfully, I found an incredible GYN oncologist who treated me with kindness, compassion, and respect during a very difficult time. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Kim.

Andover OB/GYN in my opinion has committed insurance fraud. They insisted on applying a diagnostic…read morecode even though the visit was purely for a preventative exam with no complications or diagnosis. This caused me to have to pay for the visit rather than a zero dollar copay and the insurance company also was billed excessively. Stay away from them.
