NOT one person greeted us when we walked into the main area of the store and yet there were THREE employees all behind the counter just socializing with one another. The one time any of the four of us were even acknowledged by an employee was when my husband had merchandise in his hands. We're going to skip this place next time and spend our money supporting other businesses.

Suddenly, the price was back to $2, and instead of correcting the overcharge, I was offered an extra drink. I declined and simply asked for my $3 back. What should have been a straightforward correction turned into an uncomfortable interaction, marked by an arrogant, dismissive attitude and a complete lack of basic courtesy or accountability. There was no apology at any point. If pricing only becomes accurate when questioned, that raises serious concerns. Visitors to Santa Barbara deserve better. Double-check your total before paying.

Thule racks, Patagonia, Vuori, etc. Knives, axes, jackets, ski boots, flasks. Everything every man could ever want. I bought a Patagonia jacket and some stuff for my son. My kids, my wife, even my 80 year old parents spent 30 minutes and $300+ dollars in here. It's a fantastic store. Also what sets them apart from typical surf shops is that they offer lessons (all ages) and summer camps for kids. The shop is clean, modern, well stocked and organized. The staff were helpful. Plus I happen to see the kiddos summer camp surf lessons at Santa Claus beach. I was impressed with the organization and leadership to handle the gaggle of surfing kiddos and teach 'em a thing or two .

Before approaching the Surf Adventures, I looked for other surf classes. Some classes require beginner attend their introduction class before proceeding to a practical class, and the classes are set in different days and charged separately. I found the surfing class in Surf Adventures is a very authentic, price-worthy option for me as a beginner who wants a quick result in learning surfing. Although in the beginning, the Surf Adventures miscommunicated the change of location, the staff reached me right away and committed to giving me a complete 2-hour, fully experienced class despite the class has been delayed for 45 minutes. Patrick is the best, I hurt my foot during surfing and barely can walk, he gave me first-aid and helped me got to my car and made sure I can drive home before he left. I would recommend the surfing class to a beginner.

The latest workout included sea lions, pelicans, cranes, and waves from other boaters and water activists. Have a great time with friends or relax on your own. It's worth the fun!

There are complementary lockers onsite to put your belongings in during the tour which was nice. The tour guide gives you a quick tutorial how to paddle for beginners. They go over the map where the tour will go and you are off. There was just 3 of us in the group and we got a choice to paddle out to the ocean or stay in the harbour. We went out to the sea. Our guide was super nice and took photos of us during the tour and emailed or can air drop them at the end. The views were nice as no clouds that morning. We saw a few sea lions and tons of birds. The only recommendation I can say is to update the description as one of the reasons I selected this place was because it was one of the few that advertised a tour for 2 hours. Our tour only lasted 1.5 hours.
