Listed / Sold our home in WA while having already purchased our new home in South Carolina many months earlier in 2025, so we were motivated, but far from desperate. Direct communication with Matin before and during the Sale was at best bare minimum. Stress level during the entire Sales Process was extremely high. Matin literally failed to inform of us the time and date of our Home Inspection by our Buyer's Agent, Buyers, and their Contractors. They showed up, as they were scheduled; but my wife and I were down in South Carolina at our new home; luckily our son was home, but it was an extremely unprofessional manner in which to be informed. This is the point that our Buyer's Agent got involved after seeing what we were going through, and she started keeping us informed along the way for the entirety of the Sale. Offers were made, then negotiated before very stressful final acceptance which at first led Buyers to terminate the Sale, but luckily, we decided we would accept and move on. Best part of it would be that we would not have to go through this all again and have to rely on Matin anymore. Offer accepted, Closing Date set, BUT we received literally only 6 days from Closing to be out of our home. Bitter-Sweet for Sale to be concluded, but stress at an all-time high the next six days. Buyer's Agent kept in touch with us the entire time, NOTHING from Matin. Buyer's Agent even spent $500 on a cleaning company for us the last day in our home so we could finish getting our moving POD loaded and picked up by POD company and out of the house by 900 pm that night. Again, nothing from Matin. Worst. Home Selling Experience. Ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Home buying and selling was a daunting task I wanted to avoid for years but desperately needed the space so I started the process with a call to a lending company, who then recommended Julia. Having a good realtor and lending agent made all the difference in the world in a hot market like we have here. The open, honest and quick communication between all parties made negotiations easier; and gave me peace of mind during the craziness that was my first deal in selling my home and trying to buy one at the same time. If I didn't have Julia and my lending officer to vent to and get insight from I would've given up the process in the first week because running a busy household and trying to wrap my head around real estate and packing was exhausting. My sale was pretty far from her area and she still made it work and had contacts with contractors in the area to help me fix it up. Whatever issues arose she rises to the challenge and supported me through the process. Home buying and selling in a hot market is stressful but having a good realtor made my experience as smooth as it could be. Would definitely use her again! Sidenote: In my experience I felt zero judgement or tension about my being black or a member of LGBT community which I know a lot of people feel hesitation about working with people not of our communities.
