Listed / Sold our home in WA while having already purchased our new home in South Carolina many months earlier in 2025, so we were motivated, but far from desperate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Direct communication with Matin before and during the Sale was at best bare minimum.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stress level during the entire Sales Process was extremely high. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Matin literally failed to inform of us the time and date of our Home Inspection by our Buyer's Agent, Buyers, and their Contractors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They showed up, as they were scheduled; but my wife and I were down in South Carolina at our new home; luckily our son was home, but it was an extremely unprofessional manner in which to be informed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the point that our Buyer's Agent got involved after seeing what we were going through, and she started keeping us informed along the way for the entirety of the Sale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Offers were made, then negotiated before very stressful final acceptance which at first led Buyers to terminate the Sale, but luckily, we decided we would accept and move on. Best part of it would be that we would not have to go through this all again and have to rely on Matin anymore. Offer accepted, Closing Date set, BUT we received literally only 6 days from Closing to be out of our home. Bitter-Sweet for Sale to be concluded, but stress at an all-time high the next six days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Buyer's Agent kept in touch with us the entire time, NOTHING from Matin.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Buyer's Agent even spent $500 on a cleaning company for us the last day in our home so we could finish getting our moving POD loaded and picked up by POD company and out of the house by 900 pm that night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Again, nothing from Matin. I accidentally requested an offer from his home buying company while trying to look into if offerpad had expanded into the area. I have been in contact with this agency several times to request to be removed from their mailing list, but we continue to receive their faux newsletters which are designed to look like a community newspaper. The first time I contacted them was last winter when a marketing gift arrived addressed to a relative who is deceased. I called and told them that the person they addressed the gift to is no longer alive and that it was upsetting to receive a gift for him. Not only did they not stop sending things addressed to him, but a few months later I received a message from the same agent who answered the phone. He was marketing to me based on the death of my relative. I wrote back to him and told him that I didn't appreciate being marketed to that way, rather than apologize and take me off the list, he insisted he was merely checking in on us to see how we were doing because in his words "I believe Jesus died for my sins." This experience has been upsetting and unprofessional - and we are still receiving mail from them. read more

Cameron was our real estate agent. He is AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for a better broker. We had received a pre approval for a loan before we found him. We knew nothing about buying a home but had to be out of our place in 2 weeks and had been looking around for places online but didn't have our own broker.
