We had a one-time cleaning scheduled this weekend. There were two team members who were scheduled for 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, we got a text that they were requesting an extra 1.5 hours to clean the master bath. We ok'd the service. At the end of 5 hours, the team informed us that they would need an extra $150 to clean the master bath. Actually, they cleaned the rest of the house and never even started the master. The team did a good job with the rest of the house. The issue is that the business model is not ethical or fair. You don't ask for approval for extra hours to clean a master bath and then leave it for last, never clean it, and ask for even more time to finish. Very disappointed with this company and their business model. We will not use them again and do not recommend them for this reason. read more

The cleaning crew itself did a good job and we were happy with the quality of the cleaning. Unfortunately, the scheduling and communication from the office was extremely frustrating. Every single time we scheduled a cleaning, we were given a time and the crew would arrive more than three hours later than expected arriving past 4pm. And I had requested to be first thing in the morning. This happened repeatedly, making it nearly impossible to plan our day. The final straw was when I called two days in advance to cancel our service, yet they still sent a crew to our house anyway. That level of miscommunication is unacceptable. It's unfortunate because the cleaning staff themselves were great, but the office scheduling and communication are clearly disorganized. The first crew that came in for the first cleaning did a good job. Our second cleaning was awful. My husband and I are in our 70s and hired this company to do the bathroom especially the toilet! The bedroom wasn't dusted nothing was moved. It's as if they used an old feather duster. I especially wanted them to cleaned under the bed the blinds and ceiling fans In the living room the floor under the sofa wasn't cleaned nor the blinds plus no one vacuumed the sofa. The job for a 3-3 house at 2648 sqft was underestimated (estimated at 3.5 - 4.5 hours; they completed after 5.5 hours); too expensive (they overcharged me according to their rate per hour; I have requested the difference); shoddy work (my wife and I had to redo some bathroom areas plus clean dirt/grime at baseboards that was missed during their floor mopping). Two women showed up after I called the main office at 3:45 pm to find out where they were. Service window was 12 - 4 pm. They showed up at approx 4:15 pm. The task was completed at approx 9:30 pm. Neither spoke very good English (somewhat amazing and perhaps ICE should be notified to determine the legal residence status of their employees). The older one apparently was the lead and her English was beyond horrible. The younger one barely said a word. They used my floor product for the laminate wood flooring. The older one was unsure what product of theirs was best (unbelievable!). Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed with their service and cost. The cleaning service provided was unsatisfactory. The service included basic tasks such as cleaning countertops, sweeping floors, and cleaning mirrors. However, the execution of these tasks was lacking, as the countertops remained dirty, the floors were unswept, and the mirrors were not cleaned. Additionally, there were significant issues with the staff's efficiency. One employee took an excessive amount of time in the master bedroom, nearly an hour, while frequently stopping to answer personal cell phone calls. This delay contributed to the incomplete cleaning of other areas, including the downstairs bathroom and the study, where dust remained on the furniture. Most concerning is that during the cleaning process, an antique figurine and a glass container in the laundry room and kitchen were broken. Moreover, my wife found a broken piece from our window hidden behind the blinds and broken pieces hidden behind the couch! This negligence reflects poorly on the overall quality of the service provided. We called to report this early today about the broken window piece and to no avail management has not responded via text or phone call back! read more

here r some things to consider if you wish to work here at molly maid. these are from MY personal experience there at the company. 1. management is NOT it. they are disorganized, adding or taking houses after already giving us our schedules. they talk about clients as if no one will hear them and the owner doesn't do much to ensure working order. and the way they handle situations tends to rub people the wrong way. we unfortunately had a death in the company, and when they hired someone new they literally told us in our meeting "oh it's sad that she died, but meet our replacement!" like genuinely not reading the room. 2. some of ur cleaners half ass the cleaning and try to have their partners do it too. my partner constantly half assed cleanings, talked poorly of clients, and is also RACIST. they get praised for being "fast" when "fast" is just half assing your homes, just because THEY want to get home sooner. 3. they don't charge the right prices, and cleaners clean based on the hourly pay a client is paying. the cleaners that DO do it right can't reach all the places needed because there isn't enough time, but they don't do anything to ask clients if we can have more time. sometimes it is clients not being prepped and ready for us, but most times it's dispatch. we don't get paid for any time waiting for a house. not at all. 4. there's constant drama from the OLD WOMEN WHO WORK THERE-- i mean woman who will talk shit about you but never to your face. always behind a door, and always behind a wall. they are not confrontational, and they lie hella. supposedly one of them even stole another woman's phone before dispatching us for the day. (not all girls are bad though, there's about 4-6 girls I genuinely liked because they were themselves and didn't need the approval of others) but yes! penny for my thoughts: i didn't get paid enough to deal with all of that. not at all. read more

I wish I had read these yelp reviews before hiring Mollie Maids. My experience sounds very similar to the other 1-star reviewers. I hired them for a move-in clean of a 1450 sq ft house with only two pieces of furniture in it; the house mostly just had a thin layer dust. The bathrooms and kitchen needed little work as they were already very clean, fridge was spotless as was stove. Somehow the two maids managed to stretch it into a 3.5 hour job...also they arrived very late in the afternoon and didn't leave until 6:30 pm which disrupted my evening plans. I gave them a $30 tip and now regret it. They charged me $393 which was at the very top end of the quote. Apparently they don't mind leaving a trail of one-time customers. Took a picture of one of the cars so I could remember the business because I was looking for a maid service due to me being a disabled vet then the person driving flips me off and takes pictures of me. Talk about not a friendly business. Not so friendly, don't want to give business to them for a rude reaction. Im leaving a copy of my review from google here so no one goes through what I went through. Worst cleaning service. I'm pregnant and I can't deep clean. When i called them to get a complaint solved there's no management or receptionist answering, just a lady who can barely speak English who I assume is a maid. They didn't clean the vents the past 5 cleanings until today. They don't get thorough cleaning behind some easily moveable objects. I heard them running the water in my bathtub to clean it, and when I saw it later that day the 2 dirt rings were still around my tub, all they do is move stuff around to pretend they cleaned when they did absolutely nothing. They cleaned my kitchen sink and just put the few dirty dishes I had on the counter instead of washing them. They do not dust the window blinds. They vacuumed my staircase except for the hallway carpet, it looks super rugged all while the carpet on the stairs looks nice and clean. It doesn't make any sense at all. The floors are decently cleaned but even then our feet still get dirty and we don't wear shoes in the house we keep them all at the front door. They are LAZY and INCOMPETENT. They think we won't notice these things but I freaking live here. Don't bother with them. read more

I paid $432 for cleaning for an apartment move out, which is a ridiculous amount of money. There was stuff left on the floors, pennies, bobby-pins. The air conditioner was set and left at 69 degrees. Please use it if you need the air conditioner but turn it back up when you leave. It was at 69 for over 24 hours. There was dried food or drink left on my kitchen floor and on the fridge. The shower tiles and grout were left dirty. I could have and should have cleaned myself. I would have done a MUCH better job and avoided wasting $432 and the likely fee the apartment will charge me. When I called to complain was told they could send the team back out. It was an apartment clean out so I don't have access to it anymore. And why would I want the team back there? I asked for a refund and was told they don't do that. Very unsatisfactory service, do not use. Save the money and clean yourself. read more

I had schedule a cleaning with Molly maids and the time was set the day before between 12pm - 2pm. I not only took time off my busy work schedule to be present at the home, I work from home from 1p-9:30p. I took off work and put my pets with a pet sitter for this cleaning from 2p-6p. When 2pm rolled around with no call or update. I call Molly maids office only to find out they change my time to 4pm. Not only did no one tell me the lady over the phone tried to say they called me yesterday. Which in fact no one called to tell me the time change which I told the relayed to the lady on the phone. She then stated oh I'm sorry I should have call this morning to let you know. Basically proving I was correct. Well again I waited for 4pm to roll around again no call no show. This time I sent them a message through there messaging system. I get a call at 4:30pm stating they are on their way and will be there in 20 minutes. They arrived at 5pm! I had of course take off the rest of work and extend my dogs daycare! At this point I am out a full days work because of their mix up and not informing me. They did not finish their cleaning until 8:45pm which is beyond ridiculous for not only the customer but the staff. The cleaning was good and the ladies were nice. Most likely will NOT use them again due to poor customer service and no communication on time with the customer after a time was established the day before then they tried to lie about it. read more

Just paid $300 (including tip) to have my 2/2 apartment of less than 1000 sqft cleaned and the service they provided was no different than my $80 every 2wk cleaning lady does. I am now going to have to go back myself and scrub the walls & clean the outside of the windows, because they do not provide either service. When I called to their office to express my disappointment, their representative said - did you ask if we cleaned walls/windows - putting it to be the customer's fault for not asking the correct questions. Very poor customer service! They were so quick to spout off a quick list of the areas they clean, yet never said they don't do walls nor windows! I was told to hire a professional window cleaner - so rude. I'm no professional window cleaner, but I'm sure I can wipe down the outside of a patio door window...and yet I paid them $300 unnecessary dollars. read more

Don't waste your money! I've waited 3 weeks to write a review. I dislike giving poor reviews, but I am out a few hundred dollars! I hired Molly Maid for a move-in clean. I was charged $323 and I'm not sure what was cleaned. I could tell a couple of the counters had been wiped down, but nothing else. I was so upset I waited 24 hours before responding to their "how did we do" text. I was told they've never had a complaint on this route; my house didn't "smell" clean because they used water-based products; they used vinegar/water to mop. First, I was there when the ladies showed up...at 4pm for a 2+ hour cleaning job?? The cleaning materials they pulled out of the car were definitely aromatic. I couldn't stay so I tipped them at the start (I wish I had not). Second, the stove/oven weren't even wiped. It was sticky and greasy. Third, the floors were not mopped. There were things on the floor - safety pin, dried food, etc. I was so disappointed after just those things. They offered to "reclean" when I said I wanted a refund (which they do not give btw). I said I really needed the floors mopped so I could move in. The next day they said that was completed. It was not. I bought cleaning products to do it myself. When I returned and attempted to turn on the water, there wasn't any water flowing. I called the water company. The seller had the water turned off. There was no water the day the first cleaning crew showed up. Yet they said they mopped the floors with water and vinegar. And they cleaned the house? I had the water turned back on and cleaned the house myself. What a difference from their "cleaning". Please, do not waste your money on this company. Read all the other reviews (not the ones they allow to be posted on their social media!). Ftr, the house is small and was totally empty and they said they spent 2.5 hours (2 people) cleaning. read more

I hired Molly Maids to do a deep cleaning of our 2727 square foot home. I had an accident that kept me from doing the cleanning myself and I was quoted a price of $85.00 per hour. I was told it would take three to four hours. I thought it a bit pricey, but it was for a deep clean. Well, I was unimpressed. As the maids were finished, we did a walk around...the kitchen floor was not fully cleaned, the wood furniture was not polished, the base boards not all wiped down. The couches were not vacuumed, under the cushions still had debris...the wooden doors had not been totally wiped down. What I got was a light cleaning and was charged a deep cleaning price. I rewashed the kitchen floor myself and sent the management of Molly Maids a picture of the dirty water in the bucket.They. did send over the quality control team..these ladies spent 2 hours taking care of the items I had complained about...I thought the company was going to ghost me, but they did come back. I am really upset with myself for upset- reviewing. I believe there was a series of misunderstandings that I felt was unacceptable. Knowing how upset I was and reaching out to me, Molly Maid's representative called me. I do want to say, Ruby really was wonderful vacuuming, cleaning floors, the issues were not that and she constantly was talking to me. That said though this was not a wonderful experience, with exact instructions and expectations in place, this would be very different. I'm not here to tear down any business and get no satisfaction from that but with a genuine phone call, trying to make things right. I definitely would consider a monthly help. Didn't show up. Didn't call. Useless. Zero stars. I waited for 2 hours, as they were supposed to arrive between 12 and 2 pm to do a move out cleaning. I called and asked for an estimate of arrival time at 1:30 pm, no phone call back. I called again at 2:15 pm, instead of an answering service I got a machine. My apartment office called me at 4:30 pm to say they were there, by that point I had already scheduled someone else and had to extend my lease for an extra two days! My family and I have given Molly Maid a chance twice now to come and clean our house. The first time window was this passed Wednesday from 2-4, Molly Maid never showed. At 5:15, they were called and requested a reschedule. Today, 2/26, Molly Maid was supposed to arrive between 9-11. They never showed up. After I got home at 5, the door bell rang. The maids were here to clean. I told them that it was too late and that they could go. There was no apology for being tardy and no apology for the lack of phone call. I plan on calling Molly Maid and discontinuing our services with them. Their initial cleaning was fantastic but I am disappointed in their lack of customer service. read more

I am using their service for the very first time. So far, so good. They bring everything with them - vacuum, sponges, cleaning brushes, the cleansers, whatever. They are very methodical. Starts at the top, working their way down to the floors. When I made the appointment, Brandi the operations manager was most helpful. It is a team of two. The appointment time is a window of time and they made it within that window. The only misstep was their estimate of time. They thought 2 hours,I knew it would be 3 hours. Since I had to leave for the Yelp event, they had to rush at the end. Ask for the team of Nancy and Nancy. They are very good. I didn't realize what my apartment really looked like. I had two very sweet ladies come to my house to clean it...even though they were very kind and gave me a military discount, I ended up re-cleaning the house after they left. Also, a piece of my mirror was missing that the "boss lady" refused to fix. She was not very kind or professional in handling the matter either. Initially the girls did an outstanding job. After a few months, I started noticing some parts of the house were not being cleaned correctly. The last straw was when the master bathroom was not cleaned properly. The only parts that were cleaned, were the places that were visible while standing. A friend recommended them, but I think there was a bonus involved because they charged 309.00. They didn't clean one room which is 300 sq fr but they cleaned a thousand sqft. They acted like it was very dirty but my sons friend just cleaned my kitchen dining area for 40.00, meaning it wasn't that bad, but I do admit my clothes lay around on furniture quite a bit. They took the clothes and lobbed into a hall closet. Now I'm unsure which are needing washing. That's the only thing they did to my (not) satisfaction. I really liked their timeliness. Other cleaning ppl arrive late which really makes me upset. These workers did not insist on talking to me ; which I also don't enjoy because that keeps them from being in task. The other thing that was odd was after ten days I called to reschedule and the girl (summer) said she could not find me in the system but seven days later they called and said I was somehow found. The first time they rescheduled for today and this time they simply said "it's too hard for my girls to get there so we won't be coming to your house." Absolutely unprofessional. I can clean my house in under 2 hours and I am by myself, the maids took 4 and I was charged by the hour and there were 2 of them, I don't have children so this is not a messy house. I did appreciate the cleaning of fans and baseboards something I don't do, but 4 hours was too long. They did stain the flooring in the bathroom and break a small dish in the kitchen, and the cleaning results were about what I do as well....perhaps I'm just not a maid person. read more

I have never used a maid service before but since I broke my ankle it's become a thing out of necessity. I read all the reviews and to say the least was kinda worried about what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The reviews gave such a poor impression but I must disagree. From the initial call speaking to Brandy she was great. Very informative and accommodating. Do not use this service! Things could not have been worse. Way overcharged and then they didn't even try to complete the job they were hired to do. Wish I would have done more research on all companies before choosing them. I would never recommend them. I even paid partial cash and partial credit card. I called molly maids when another company didn't show up for a move out clean. They helped me right away and the lady was extremely nice. They were able to send out someone for that afternoon, the team that arrived were both fun and happy women. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is they did take a little longer than I expected. No show, no call. I moved out of my house at the end of April and scheduled an appointment with Molly Maid to come clean it after I got everything out. They gave me a 1 hour window (2 - 3pm) and called the day before the appointment to confirm. Then they never showed up. When I called to see what happened the lady I spoke with told me she didn't know why they didn't show up but she could re-schedule me for the next day. I didn't want to risk taking another 2 hours away from work only for them to not show up again so I declined and went with somebody else.
