It's small and intimate and most importantly Tina is wonderful and knows what she's doing. She gets it done quick so you're not sitting there in pain and honestly it hurt SO much less than waxing and I've tried dozens of high end waxing places in different cities. She also uses all natural products that calm the skin and she gives you a hot towel after to soothe everything and let you clean up after. I always hated other places that leave sticky wax on your underwear. (TMI but I also came in with my Aunt Flow and Tina was so cool about it didn't even bat an eye). Lyn has a great personality and is all about the experience and making sure you're comfortable. This was my first time getting a Brazilian so I was nervous and of course uncomfortable with the exposure but again Lyn made the whole process as comfortable as she could. Recognizing that this was a very personal process for women and made sure to keep conversation through the whole process so my mind was focused on that and not being exposed. I started with just a simple cut I was desperate. I told her about my past and how my hair is the most important aspect because of self confidence. The third time I came in she said we could start small if I wanted. I was confident to trust her and a little nervous but every step of the way she made me feel heard and supported. A lot stylists just want you in and and out and hardly even talk to you. When Jen does my hair we have amazing conversations and it always feels like you're just hanging with a friend! We started with an overall evened out brown and caramel lights and I was blown away. I felt so confident and beautiful. JEN did that. Now for my second coloring I wanted to be a bit bold and do a cowboy copper. I was scared and thought about backing out several times. I text with her to see if she felt it would match my complexion and she made me feel really good about my decision. BAM! yet again she made it look amazing.
