Love this market! The fresh vegetables are from local citizens and supporters of Bloomingfoods…read more There is a large selection of fresh produce. They have many aisles of boxed, canned, and bottled foods and ingredients. They even have a sandwich shop that makes delicious sandwiches and sides. It was such a fun trip and it also felt good to know we are supporting a small business. Most of the employees were friendly, especially the cashier. He had a happy demeanor and made us feel welcome as travelers. I would definitely stop and try a sandwich and some of their sides.

Anyone who shops here knows unfriendly, rude cashiers are a long-standing norm. But this goes far beyond that. I witnessed deli employees openly mocking and laughing at a customer for wearing glasses, including using fake voices and calling them "nerdy." It was cruel, public bullying of someone who appeared to have an eye disability. The stuff of Disney schoolyard villains. Truly an insane thing to witness from grown men in work uniform on the clock. Here's the really disturbing thing... Leadership didn't even care. I reported it immediately and followed up many times (phone, email, website form, social) asking for leadership to respond. The marketing manager assured me that leadership was well aware of the incident. Two weeks later, I still haven't gotten a single response. I won't support a business that tolerates bullying and ignores people who speak up against it. Vote with your money and shop at the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, where you can get local food AND be treated with basic human dignity.

Be Healthy. Be valued as a customer. No pushy sales. Get sexy foods... Keep reading for how and why…read morehere is my SPOT! Health Spot has what I need, what I WANT, is never pushy, but also often has samples to offer and try to SHOW you that you will like it. Not for their commission, they aren't that way, but for your customer satisfaction. I have tasted and learned of new products that are really cool here, and it's not fake supplement stuff pushed at you and your heart rate. It's honestly protein, fiber, low fat options of healthy ways to enjoy foods you love, even healthy barbeque sauce which the staff member opened the flavors of each to let customers TASTE after pouring on a clean plastic spoon. What a way to ROCK customer service and satisfaction. Facts: Correct fair pricing. Bundle sales for cost savings. Points to your account for dollars spent. You can apply your points each time! Introduction to new products. Shelves are not stocked with products people don't want. Health Spot = Health promoting, not commissions pushy. I like! I have driven an hour before from Lafayette Indiana to Avon Indiana to learn from an employee (who may be the owner even) that he can ship me products. Super helpful since I don't work in Indianapolis anymore! I learned now they can ship from the Warehouse directly. Prices often beat name brand websites online. Even if not in Indiana, you probably could get something shipped to you for cheaper and mine is always only one to two days for $5 or free shipping. That's cheap shipping to me, and express delivery! My favorites: Protein Powder (Only they seem to stock my favorite brand. Also, they are remarkably cheaper than the Brand's website! I sense good business connections both directions!) Quest Bars (Tip: Bundle pricing for 12! Mix and match yourself a box at the store!) PB2 I love Health Spot. I recommend this store (I have visited the Avon one West side of Indy many times), but am delighted to learn of new locations and growth into Fishers very recently. Check this place out. It's what you need. Be healthy. Don't buy stuff that will ruin your heart rate. Don't deal with sales guys pushing products bad for your heart because they get commission. This place is LEGIT. It really is for me a huge part of my intake on many days, they stock it right here. No, it is not some magic fitness plan, or some magic genetics, it is products I buy and consume with a healthy diet (and this ADDS to my healthy intake). Nutrition is heatlh. The staff can help you lose weight, build muscle, maintain lean muscle, or just try yummier healthier styles of foods you love but eat too much making them bad for you. 5 star tops. Ten Gold Stars if I could based on my purchases, prices, and products, and customer service I have gotten there. The staff is professional, kind, helpful, but they will answer your questions happily, or let you check out peacefully if you need a quick run in and out for exactly what you need in limited time. I have done both visits. The staff responds well by greeting you, offering you help, and then truly helping or truly leaving you alone if you are on a run in and out mission rushed for time. Cheers! Great everything here. I am a devil's advocate and critic of business sometimes, but here, I THANK THEM. Its what I need and want. Also, if they don't have something stocked, they will order and let me know when it's coming or nowadays ship to me to spare me a drive. Very awesome. I return again and again, and plan to keep with them. Support small businesses growing, especially this one. I would love to see Health Spot be able to expand outside of the major city as must as I wish the same of Trader Joe's. Go to the HEALTH SPOT! Be Healthy!

But honestly, what keeps me coming back is their tea selection. It's incredible. Whether you're looking for something herbal, energizing, or soothing, they've got it all. A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of Birkenstocks here (yes, so random but they have an entire selection), and I learned so much about them. The staff was super knowledgeable, helping me figure out the right fit and style. Good Earth is like target. Always leaving with more than you came for.

I saw so many products that are top quality - ones that are free of chemicals, dyes, preservatives, etc. that's in most foods you find at your typical grocery. I spotted great brands such as Real Salt, Nordic Naturals, Braggs, Evolved, and more. I also loved that they had a huge wall of natural kids medicines and homeopathy. When our baby was sick, they were hard to find at any of the big stores and I'm so grateful that they carry them here, as I don't want to give any dyes or harmful ingredients to such a small little human. They also have some local produce (saw the beautiful mushrooms), local GF bread (yay, Native!), local honey, local Tinker, Limelight, and Blue Mind coffee beans, and more. So many great options that will make your body feel amazing. They have rows of herbs, nuts, berries, spices, and more that you can help yourself to, or pre-made bags too. This time around, I picked out a little Four Sigmatic organic matcha latte mix and one of the new Bragg apple cider vinegar drinks (just organic apple cider vinegar and lime juice). It was soooo good and a great way to balance blood sugar with a meal. I'll be back for sure! The only reason why I knocked off a star is that you want the employees to match the mission of the shop. There was someone smoking a cig in the back parking lot, a girl at the counter that was slumped over on her phone, and a man walking around not smiling. This is already a dimly-lit, slightly-worn shop, so you want the people inside to be the ones breathing life into it by sharing about new products, health benefits of existing ones, and answering any questions. They didn't seem approachable, which I think is important for a store with so many different products that people will probably have questions about. Thanks for bringing and keeping these healthy options in the neighborhood!
