Despite cancelling my membership in 2022 and having email proof of the cancellation, Gold's Gym has unjustly referred my account to a credit collection agency, which could have significantly impacting my credit score and causing undue stress. Their actions are not only unprofessional but also potentially unlawful. The customer service at Gold's Gym has been appalling. It was virtually impossible to speak with anyone directly to resolve this matter. I had to reach out to golds gym west broadway to get the proper email! IT IS NOT ON THEIR WEBSITE. The lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning. If my credit score is harmed, I will definitely take legal action due to the severe implications it could have on my credit score and overall life. I strongly advise potential members to reconsider before joining Gold's Gym. Their handling of cancellations and customer service is utterly unacceptable. This business is trash and most likely ran by government. Most members appear to be government workers, they need to get off the tax addiction.

I can't say enough about F45 PoCo! I have done over 1000 classes and still love to workout there…read more5-6 times a week. The classes are always different, no two workouts are the same. That way you never get bored with the workouts and neither do your muscles. They are always moving in different ways and in different movement patterns so there's no plateauing and they will continue to strengthen. I like that the workouts are on the TV monitors so you follow along, always knowing what to do, and the trainers come around to check technique and modify or challenge you with the exercise. That's another thing, because the workouts can be modified or made more difficult, every person young, old, fit, new to exercise, etc. can workout at the same time. It's a great feeling! They turned a massive warehouse into a workout mecca. There is a massive gym space filled with free weights and machines. In the back o the main floor, they have a whole section for legs. In the front when you first walk in, there is a big section of cardio machines. They have a big screen TV to watch as you do your workout. The gym is fully secure as well. You have to use a key card to enter the fitness area. The locker rooms are fully secure with a shower and private washroom facilities. There is an upstairs section that divides into an ab and stretch area. There is a full boxing area and dance/aerobics/yoga area too. Also, behind closed doors is a woman's only section. I personally don't know what's in there, but I bet it's hot! Sorry... They hve good kids working at the front desk who will cook you an after workout meal or make you a shake. Good place to train. Check it out as a member or a drop in for $5.

I fulfilled my obligation by cancelling in person, and the failure to process it was entirely on their end. Expecting additional fees after their oversight is just bad business ESPECIALLY when they can see I haven't been to their gym in OVER A YEAR!!! Truly a hidden gem, this gym is tucked inside a residential complex in the Lougheed area…read more Definitely a no-frills kind of gym, the equipment and decor isn't the newest and the bathrooms are kind of cramped, but they have mostly everything that you would need in a gym and they are undergoing renovations. My favourite aspects of this gym are the 4 squat racks and deadlift area which are still not too common. At my previous gym, I always found myself waiting for the one squat rack. Here, there isn't much of a wait. People seem friendly and put away their weights, there is free parking, membership is on par with chain-gyms, and there's a pool too. Also, the people coming here seem to be on a time-crunch and don't stall or look at their phones as much. They seem to know what they are doing so sharing equipment is much easier. For those used to the nicer-looking chain-gyms, the weights don't go up increments of 2.5lb if you're used to that. People who are not used to only using free-weights and want to use machines may find that F2K doesn't offer enough variety of gym machines, nor are they very new. The TVs are also limited, not sure if that's a pro or con to some people. Overall, this is a good gym. I hope not too many people come here and ovecrowd it. Also, sometimes they blast Adele on the speakers. I think good-taste is important in a gym, don't you?
