It's been two years since I last visited this place. The last time was right after they opened, and I remember I liked the hominess of the Momo's. Today I ordered (take out) - Steamed momo (pork) - Pan fried momo (beef) The taste of the filling was gooooood. But I felt that the wrapper was not as homey as before - too smooth, the special texture of hand made vibe that I felt last time was not there today. The same for the filling. Also I would have enjoyed the juice more if the skin was not torn - the juice was running out into the container. It's unfortunate, as the filling's and juice's taste were very good. May be I should revisit for eat-in. Yes I should. Something addictive in their Momo's lol!

This is my favorite place. It can sound like I am crazy or something but oh man! I love it. I will go back to try all their platters. Super super well done! And the sauces all of them especially burnt sauce is so perfect. Service is super super fast. And such a good casual ambience, thats such a perfect sunday brunch or wednesday dinner vibe. Don't miss this cute spot in Cabbagetown!

This was one of the best momos I have ever had in my life. The decor definitely needs a renovation, but let's start with the momos we got the chicken tandoori momos, the beef jhols, chicken kurkure momos. The service was really good, the best dish here was the jhol momos, the momos were so juicy, and the sauce was perfect balance not too spicy and had the perfect acidity. They have a variety of momos to choose from, the tandoori chicken momos had a perfect balance of spice and the chicken was tender and melts in your mouth. The jhol momos were my favorite, and the kurkure momos were so juicy. This place is a small place but makes delicious food.

I'm going to admit I got influenced by an IG reel, but boy was it so worth it! I saw a south Asian influencer reel about Momo Ghar and the momo looked delicious! My friend and I came here for an early dinner on a Thursday evening. It was not as busy at the time so we were seated promptly. Inside it is very cutesy decor. The service was nice. They have an extensive menu with specialty momo and regular momo. As well as non-momo menu items. We got chilli fries, Jhol momo, and butter chicken momo. For drinks I got a masala coke and my friend got pop. The masala coke was delicious. Im sure it was coke with some black salt/mint/ chat masala but it was such a unique yet simple combo. The momo were absolutely delicious. Steamed to perfection, the sauce also did not disappoint. 10/10. We got Jhol in beef and chicken tikka in chicken. Each plate came with 8 momo and there was sufficient food for the two of us. The total came to around $60 before tax for two, which is such a great deal! Highly recommend, hands down best momo I've had!

Their momos are actually quite good, amazing flavours and good quality ingredients packed into a neat little bite. Portions are very reasonable too. HOWEVER, they are terrible at following instructions! I asked for no chilis as it is way too spicy for me and was disappointed twice (they managed it once so I know for sure it's possible). I feel that this is not an onerous request given that all they need to do is literally not put the chilis on top...so, removing a star from my rating.

Sonam and his team are extremely hard working and talented! They push out the best momos in city! So many different flavours and fillings - they also corporate catering. Dynamic duos Sonam & SuperMom delivered our office catering and even garnished off the noodles and momos on-site. Teams enjoyed every lasted bite - we can't wait to order again!

Momo Ghar, located along Parliament near Wellesley St., is Cabbagetown's hidden gem for Tibetan and Nepalese food. I've heard plenty of good things about Momo Ghar but never had the chance to try it until recently. I usually go to Parkdale for my momo cravings but was excited to try other places within the city as well. I stopped by on a Tues afternoon around 2pm for a late lunch. I figured the restaurant wouldn't be busy...but I was wrong. It got progressively busier and the place was full by 3pm! Food wise, I ordered: - Steamed beef momo (8 pieces) - Steamed cabbage momo (8 pieces) - Mango lassi The restaurant indicates that the momos do take 16 min to make after ordering. In regards to the momos, the beef momo was delicious! The momo wrapper was light and more delicate than other momos I've had before. The filling of the momo was flavourful where steam would come out as soon as you bit into them. The sauces that accompanied the dish weren't overpowering. The cabbage momo was also delicious as well - I enjoyed the crispy chili on top of the momos. Overall, the spice level of both momo dishes didn't overpower the momo itself - I was able to handle the spice but you can also ask for the sauce to be on the side instead. I wasn't able to finish two whole plates of momos and took some home for later. Overall, service was friendly and the food was delicious. The place is a bit small (seats only ~25 customers) and the momos do take a while to prepare. However, you'll definitely be feasting on some pretty delicious Tibetan/Nepalese food here!!

The interior is decorated with prayer flags which brings a nice pop of colour to the restaurant.

An awesome place to try some unique and flavourful momos in Toronto's east end! The place had a great ambiance and such a cozy vibe. There's seating for about 15 people total in the restaurant, so if you plan on coming, be prepared to wait. The service was alright--only two waiters were tending to the customers. The menu is simple, but has enough food options that you'd be curious enough to come back to try more. I tried the classic beef steamed momos and Tandoori momos (with pork) and both were absolutely delicious! The flavour on the steamed momos had a hint of citrus and were super juicy. The Tandoori momos were served on a steaming hot plate and were nice and spicy.

Toronto is a good foodie town, and a cultural melting pot. We met people fr Afghanistan, China, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Tibet, Turkey and Ukraine, just to name a few. When I saw this Nepalese place that specializes in momo (dumplings), and that it had positive reviews, I had to check it out. Momo Ghar (Dumpling House), is in Cabbagetown. We tried beef pan fried momo, pork steamed momo and aloo chaat. First of all, the beef momo were big and filled w/ nicely seasoned meat. They gave you sauces for dipping so you could tailor it to your heat preference. Likewise, the pork momo were moist and filled w/ heartily seasoned pork. In addition, they were large. Lastly, the aloo chaat had nice crispy potatoes, and was a good contrast to the momo. Regarding the ambiance, its a small place that you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to. We almost didn't see the entrance fr the street. Our waitress was super nice and helpful with the menu. Many cultures have dumplings, and I am a big fan of Nepalese momo after this experience. The food is hearty, nicely seasoned and you can make it hot if you like. The forgoing combined w/ a quaint location, and very good service, made for a great intro to Nepalese cuisine.

Always a good time for Momos at Momo Ghar in Cabbagetown Finally found the time to check Momo Ghar out, went just a little early before dinner time & the place was already packed that's when you know the food is gonna be GOOD What we ordered: Butter Chicken Sauce Momo: High-key the best Momos I've ever had! Deep Fried Momos: this SLAPS as well Definitely put Momo Ghar on your list cause this place is a staple for a reason

Our meals itself were good however they had a lot of staffing issues which caused extreme delays in food and paying. There were several seated tables waiting 20 mins just to order. Luckily we had time to wait but some tables were waiting ~40mins for the food. The place is small, I wouldn't necessarily come back since I've have similar tasting momos near me however if you're in the area, it's worth eating if it's not busy!

Stumbling upon this cozy little spot in Cabbagetown was like finding a hidden treasure! This hole-in-the-wall momo dumpling restaurant really drives a warm, laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel like you're in a Tibetan post with flags adorned across the ceiling, cozy interiors and smooth R&B playing in the background. The atmosphere and staff were inviting, with the kind of charm that only small, unassuming places can offer.. Smiles from everyone. It's the perfect place to kick back, relax, and indulge in some truly authentic flavours. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the momos! We tried a few options, and each one was a mouthwatering delight. Butter Chicken Momos (5/5) - They were a revelation, with tender chicken wrapped in a soft dumpling shell, all drenched in a rich, creamy butter chicken sauce. It was like two beloved dishes perfectly fused into one. Definitely recommend this to everyone. Pork Momos (Steamed) (4.5/5) - The pork momos were simple yet packed with flavour, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through in every bite. They were juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly steamed to give you that melt-in-your-mouth experience. The house sauce that came with it was very fragrant and earthy paired with a nice kick of spice. A nice simple palate starter for sure. Chicken Momo (Pan-fried) (4.5/5) - The chicken momos had a crispy, golden exterior that added just the right amount of crunch to the tender filling inside. It really gave the momos another level of depth. Now the brunt sauce is something to write home about.. very delicious and chalked full of flavour. Luckily we had both sauces on the side so we could pick and chose how we wanted to sauce things up! Tibetan Laping (5/5) - One of the standout dishes for me. A unique, spicy dish with a burst of bold flavours that was unlike a combination of steam rice noodles, onions, crispy ramen bits paired with that delicious chilli oil / soy sauce blend. Its a refreshing kick and the texture added a whole new dimension to our meal, making it an absolute must-try for anyone seeking a more adventurous appetizer. Mango Lassi (3.5) - This was a nice cooling drink for our meal. Nothing to crazy to write about other than a stronger presence of tumeric in it. Rich, creamy, sweat, tangy and wholesome... Ahhh yum. Overall, Momo Ghar is a true gem for food lovers. The unpretentious vibe, combined with an outstanding lineup of dumplings and authentic Tibetan flavors, makes it a spot you can't afford to miss. Whether you're a momo enthusiast or just in the mood for something comforting and delicious, this place delivers on all fronts!

Best momo you could find in downtown Toronto! Second visit here. It might be a bit spicy for people have low spice tolerance. I like the decorations of the restaurant. The air conditioning isn't working well. It's really hot that I felt unwell. Be aware of it. Service is normal.

**Christmas Cheers with a Touch of Glam**…read more Celebrated a Christmas party at Storys Building, and the experience was a mix of luxury, fun, and high energy. The first two floors are dedicated to dinner seating, while the third floor hosts parties and gatherings. The space worked, but with the number of people invited, it felt a bit tight -- something to keep in mind for larger groups. The vibe was fantastic. Drinks were expertly crafted, the bartenders were attentive, and a DJ kept the energy flowing in the background. As the night progressed, everyone hit the dance floor, and the party truly came alive. Bathrooms were plentiful and well-maintained, and the thoughtful touch of wellness kits in the ladies' room added a hint of luxury. One minor hiccup was the coat check -- it was a bit congested and struggled to accommodate all the coats. But my biggest suggestion for improvement would be the addition of an elevator. Climbing three floors in heels and dresses proved challenging for many, and an elevator would make the space more accessible without taking away from its elegance. Overall, Storys Building delivers a lively, luxurious, and memorable party experience. The energy, drinks, and attention to detail make it a spot worth revisiting -- just come prepared for a little stair workout if you're headed to the third floor.

I put a pair of sunglasses in my backpack's front pocket, I fully expected it to be crushed during coat check. The staff voluntarily assured me that they would make sure it was protected. I've been to other events where the coat check staff had lost my jacket, so the extra care on my belongings added to the positive experience. The staff there were pleasant and even remembered my face when I checked out my coat on the way out. The hors d'oeuvres were great, I enjoyed everything I tried, like the mini sliders, fried chicken, and bruschetta. We also had a taco station that was good too. I didn't expect any less since they are under the same hospitality group as Byblos and Patria, which I've dined at before and enjoyed. The biggest plus is the location, at the heart of the Entertainment District. It's close to many offices and the Financial District. Our cocktail hour ended in 2hrs but there are plenty of bars nearby to extend the get together for another drink. For example, Grace O'Malley's is just across the street and not too busy to grab a seat on a weekday night.

The level of unprofessionalism is appalling for a venue of this scale, but what pushed things over the top was the dismissive attitude that Derek took towards our concerns. As an example, when raising concerns that our final invoice matching our estimate exactly was impossible, Derek disregarded it as a "happy coincidence" despite further investigation showing that the venue had just billed us wrong. This type of tone, and lack of accountability, was consistent in all our communications with him. Mistakes happen, but the flippant attitude that Derek spoke to us with incredibly insulting. Had I known management was like this, we would have picked a different venue.

But I did get a chance to check out their Oval Boardroom and the gallery downstairs where the movie was screened. unfortunaly the event was pretty low lit (you know being Halloween and all) so I wasn't able to really admire the venue, but it seemed great for a medium sized event (I'm not great at guessing numbers but I'd say 150-ish people). The Oval Boardroom amongst a few other smaller rooms was where we spent an hour or so with actors who would act out specific scenes from the movie. It is definitely a very interesting space, again, I didn't get a chance to really walk around to see what some of the items that were a part of the Heritage Centre's deco were like, but there seemed to be a few interesting looking frames around. I'm not sure who catered the food, so I can't really speak for any of the actual venues food, we didn't have hor d'oeuvre served which is usually the case for 360 screenings, so I'm not sure if that was due to the venue or our event hosts. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. The chairs were not the most comfortable, and they were wooden, so they were quite noisy. Also, there is not a lot of seating, so many people are standing in the front area, even thought it was probably a wedding of less than 75 guests.
