This restaurant is out of the tourist area but well worth the trip! We ordered the Japanese pancake which was so delicious! A must try. For main course we ordered the hummus and the vegetable curry. Hummus was exceptional. The curry was flavorful but a little oily. I also had a Thai iced tea which was yummy, a little bit more creamy than I am used to but enjoyed it! Deducted a star as service was slow.

I wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu! So good and the cutest little shop! Suggest for food or just a coffee break!

Sleek modern Japanese cafe with food, teas, coffee and desserts. Good selection of Japanese desserts which aren't too sweet. The teas are brewed to perfection. Bravo.

I'm from Japan so I have very high expectations and standards when it comes to Japanese desserts and drinks but I've got to say that the Goma Sesame latte and Matcha milk Crepe blew me away!! 10/10 recommend :)

The cafe had a really unique atmosphere and the staff was really friendly. I really liked to clean and yet creative decoration. We tried the original matcha and the matcha latte. Both tasted delicious and had a wonderful presentation. We also liked the fact that we got free water right at the beginning and a free refreshing towel. They have a nice selection of Japanese and matcha flavored cakes, as well as Japanese savory dishes. We liked all of the variations we tried: matcha roll, matcha snowball, tea cookies, Hokkaido milk bread. You can also find prepackaged Onigiri filled with tuna there. It was soooo delicious. The reason why I can only give 4 out of 5 stars is the price. Unfortunately it is quite pricey which makes it difficult to go there often. However, i do understand that you have to pay a certain amount of money to get something delicious, interesting and new. Will we come back? Definitely! and i can totally recommend it, especially the Onigiri (also an awesome snack for take away ).

Matcha macarons! Great texture and very delicious

I am so happy this cafe opened! The staff is very friendly, the place is clean and well decorated, and Totoro is everywhere! I had the matcha and earl grey tea cookies (Totoro shaped) and had a really nice time. I had been feeling homesick and this cafe reminded me of Japantown in San Francisco :) I highly recommend this place for some high quality tea and coffee, and also snacks and wholesome breakfasts :) Thank you!

This place is pretty cool. I've been here a few times and I've always loved the atmosphere and food. The quality is quite high, but it's not super expensive - which is great. I sometimes bring a computer and do some work while having a Thai Iced Tea. I also love the variety of food, all of great quality. Be sure to ask for Camilla as your server because she's super awesome, friendly, and kind. :)

Love it there! Best coffee & service in the city!! Great selection of japanese teas and japanese coffees from Obscura Coffee Roasters Tokyo.

The coffee was so good, and I love the little pieces of soft cheese that came with breakfast. The apple cake was also delicious. This is a great spot, and I wish we had a hard time to go back for lunch or dinner. If you are coming to prague, this might be a place you want to put on your list. If nothing else you can say you ate where the intellectuals ate, and you can feel a little smarter.

The interior is beautiful and has a lot of historic charm, which really adds to the experience. Service was also excellent--everyone was professional, attentive, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the slow-braised beef shank, but the meat was surprisingly tough and didn't have that fall-apart tenderness I was hoping for. We also tried the braised beef with the creamy sauce, and unfortunately, the beef had the same issue. I really wanted to love the food given the beautiful setting and all the recommendations, but unfortunately, it just didn't quite live up to the expectations.

My mom and I ordered bottled sparkling water and were surprised when it was served warm (not just room temperature but actually warm). When we asked if we could get cold water instead, we were told that they didn't have any cold water available due to the heat. This wasn't mentioned when we ordered. We were offered a small cup of ice, but there wasn't nearly enough to cool the whole bottle. The waiter didn't apologize and came across as quite rude and annoyed with us. She also never offered more ice, even though it was clear the amount we got wasn't enough. I understand that things happen, but a simple apology and a better attitude would have gone a long way. It's a shame because the food was good, but the service made the visit much less enjoyable.

We had just tap water and I ordered the scrambled eggs with a hot dog bun and salad. The lovely K had the Turkish eggs and toast with lovely fresh dill on top. Both were excellent and a fair sized portion. The poached eggs and the scrambled eggs were spot on. My salad was also excellent with a dressing I'd like to replicate at home. The service was prompt, and friendly, and the food came out quick in spite of how busy they were. I can't say much about the ambiance as we were outside, but the chairs were comfortable and blankets were also available if you felt the need to bundle up. We would most certainly return!

We all started off with drinks - I'm not a wine person, but the prosecco was delicious and a great wine. While I typically would subtract a star for slow service, as we had some issues with people receiving drinks and appetizers, we were a large group with only a couple members of the waitstaff taking care of us. Overall, I found them very effective. For the entrees, we were given the duck confit. WOW! So so good. It was tender and perfectly cooked, and served with pickled cabbage that complemented it perfectly. It also came with a few potato dumplings which in general are a bit heavy so I didn't finish those. We ended the night with a dessert selection where I along with most of my cohort went with the Misa dessert, a whipped cream-sponge cake filling surrounded by hardened chocolate. It was delicious, but quite rich and I struggled to finish. So, so good though. The rich history of the restaurant is also absolutely fascinating and I'll recommend this restaurant!

We wanted to grab breakfast before we were headed to the airport but didn't feel like eating too much. First, they have a high chair, a huge plus for us parents. I got the mascara-done caramel banana pancake, which the server told us was a popular item. My husband got the salmon with cream cheese, and he said that was amazing. So unlike other places that usually stack pancakes and then put the topping at the top, this each layer has the filling, so each layer of the salmon pancake has cream cheese and salmon. The mascarpone and banana was the same each layer, filled with banana and cream. Highly recommend this little gem if you are around the area.

The pancakes were very good and also seemed very healthy as far as pancakes go - everything was perfectly balanced. The halloumi and avocado as well as the hummus were layered in the stack so every bite had something in it. The karak latte was also very good with a smooth flavour. I appreciated that they could make it with alternative milk since most places I've been to that serve this will only do it with dairy.
