I've come here on a couple of occasions and most recently bought the yellow lemon drop orchids from here during tet (Vietnamese new year). They're gorgeous, delicate, unique, and were fairly priced. My MIL is an orchid enthusiast so she definitely enjoyed visiting this place. It isn't often you find stores specializing in just orchids. The prices were fair. Came here looking for a closing gift for my clients who just closed on a home! They love orchids and when I walked in on Tuesday afternoon the inventory was already limited because someone was buying a lot. The old lady that helped me was very sweet and gathered a few different color options. She told me which colors were better for my situation and gave me a slight discount on a bigger arrangement I chose. They take card, but you'll be taxed so best bring cash! $70 for this arrangement + tax so $77 out the door. She even gave me a few cards to write a note for my buyers. Passed by and the orchids are beautiful. The prices are great. A mini one is $10. Some $15 to $20 or higher depending on how many flowers. The owner madam is extremely rude. She yelled at my friend when she picked up an orchid. We didn't see the sign "do not touch" until later. But she didn't need to yell. She was extremely dismissive. Her sales pitch is "the more flowers, higher the price." Her selection is very basic. They do not have rare orchids or petite ones. The "store" is only outside. Even though there is an "inside" it has turned into a dark messy hole/work office. She didn't make it clear that it was "employees only" so I peeked through and she yelled "store is outside only." Some sick orchids were carelessly thrown on the curb. I saw a cute dainty orchid for a good price of $15; but did not buy just because she is so rude. Two stars for the flowers beauty. PS. I just bought two cymbidium orchids from this shop and as I was putting them in my car I noticed TONS of bugs all over them- aphids to be specific. I do not recommend buying from here because they clearly felt ok selling plants infested with bugs. They're beautiful orchids, but who knows if they'll survive. She said they were "on sale"- now I know why. Please check your plants unlike me! Use a flashlight and check for bugs. read more

Visited T&T for the first time this past weekend. Based on past images here, there wasn't as much variety maybe because of slower business due to Covid. There are many stunning Phal. orchids in T&T orchid with good price. The store also has many other beautiful ochids. They sell pots and food for orchid as well. Pots are sold separately. The small decorating pot is $5; pretty and cheaper than Lowe's. If you buy orchid in this store frequently, I think they will give you some discount. They accept credit card with $20+ purchase. Tuba and her husband are amazing! They always have the best orchids and are really nice to talk to. Their prices are also the cheapest in the area, even though their quality is top notch. I've lost a few flowers from them, but it was my fault. Every flower I've gotten has been great, one flower is still in bloom - since December. It's just now starting to wilt. Went here to purchase an orchid for my mom. I don't know much about them, but I knew my mom loved them. With the help of my fiance, she recalls this place in the Grand Century Mall from our many visits here before. It's a small shop, as big as most neighborhood florist tend to be. The difference here is EVERYTHING is orchids and orchid related. You really won't find anything else but orchids. They had a variety of choices, notably the prearranged ones. There are various price ranges, from those on a budget and those ready to spend, they will have something for you. The staff was nice. We don't speak Vietnamese, nor are we, but don't be discouraged. We were able to speak to them just fine. It's been a while since my fiance and I gave my mom the orchid and it still fine to this day. I can't speak for anyone else's experience AFTER the purchase. As for the prices, they are competitive. Even when some big box stores have orchids, the quality and selection seem to be better here for the same price. read more

Came here because my mom was looking for Cascading Cymbidium Orchids. The shop is located in Grand Century Mall. The shop is small but filled to the brim with Orchids (and other plants). I was able to find several orchids my Mom wanted. My only gripe was they did not offer to help carry the 4 very large hanging orchids to my car, however they did offer me boxes to place the orchids in. They do accept credit cards. read more

Long and overdue review, but I love this place! My mom is a huge fan of orchids and I decided to drive out to San Jose with a friend of mine last month to purchase an orchid for her for Valentine's Day. I couldn't find the hours for this place listed, so I just called in advance before committing to an hour drive. Luckily they stated that they were open and I was able to make my way here. Found in the Grand Century mall, this location is a bit different than other flower shops. The entire store is dedicated to orchids, ranging from affordable to higher end prices/arrangements. The couple that works at this location was extremely attentive to us when we entered. They offered assistance and gave us tips on how to take care of the orchids, which I greatly appreciated. I decided to buy a white heart-shaped orchid for $25 and my friend bought violet orchids for his mom for $16. The owner stated to us that the orchids are better kept dry, to only water them once a month, and to make sure to wipe off any water droplets that remain on the leaves/stems (to prevent rotting). The orchid still looks just as nice and healthy as it did when I purchased it a month ago. My mom loves it! Overall, 5/5 stars. Lots of options for orchids. Spacious and organized shop. Bought one of their beautiful orchids at the San Francisco Orchid show in February but within a week it had lots of aphids and then got mealy bugs. All on just that one plant. Talked with a woman at the store over the phone and she said to write a letter of explanation to them to get a full refund. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them as I sent the letter on March 20th. Will be letting the Orchid Society know about the dispute as they have another show coming up. read more

I bought an orchid last week and the price was decent, $35. It looked nice until two days later... My orchid wilted and died within 2 days!!! I contacted the owner to see if I could get an exchange because orchids usually don't die within 2 days. The owner said it was fine and that I can come back in for the exchange. But when I got there, the owner said that I had to pay $35 again for the new orchid. I told the owner that we talked on the phone and that she was willing to exchange it for me, free of charge. She denied it and I was very upset. She even had the courage to tell me to buy another one since I wasn't happy with the first orchid. Why would I buy another orchid if it will die within 2 days again??? Anyways, I definitely would not recommend this place for flower lovers. The orchids are poor quality and you are going to end up wasting $35 for nothing. Forget about what's in the store & just buy one of the orchids they have on sale! If you know how to care for them, then they will last a long time. The orchids on sale range from $5-$9. The smaller ones are of course cheaper. My mom's orchids that I bought for Mother's Day this year is still super healthy and hasn't lost any flowers. I love this place. They always have a great selection and ALWAYS super reasonable in price. They also have bamboo if you like that... Went in first time and no one was there. I waited for about 15 minutes and finally found a phone number to call on their sales counter. FINALLY...an older man came in and I bought 6 beautiful large cymbidium orchids. Needed to get more and went back a week later. I needed to take pictures to send to my manager to see which ones we wanted to buy next. The lady there was so rude and yelled at me to not take pictures! I told her that I was looking to buy at least 25 more..she yelled at me again! Yeah, so bye girl! We don't treat customers like that here! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN! I wondered into Grand Century Mall after dim sum one recent Sunday. I found the mall had way too many jewelry shops and not enough of anything else. T&T Orchids, however, was a refreshing change. It was really a no-frill flower shop, just shelves and tables full of blooming (mostly) Phalaenopsis and (a few) Cymbidium orchids. It was very pretty and a nice store to stroll in. Having killed a few Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium in the past, I decided that a more hardy Cymbidium. It was quite reasonable for $16. When I was at the register, the lady gave me care instructions. I did wish that they have something written down for their customers, like what you get from Safeway/Home Depot. Also, I don't think they carry plant food since I did ask if I needed them but she just told me to get them from OSH or such. read more

T&T Orchids have a diverse selection of orchids and some other tropical plants for reasonable prices. The day I visited, they had some nice pink orchids that were a little bit spent, but still very pretty for only $6. I know most of the common orchid species and varieties but they had some orchids that I never seen before. I bought an orchid with small purple flowers that was actually scented! Most of their orchids range from $13-$20 and the prices for arrangements vary. Just a tip for those unfamiliar to orchids, DON'T OVERWATER. It's better to leave an orchid on the dry side than too wet or it will rot. Just test the soil medium with your finger, if it's moist then don't water, if it's dry, water it thoroughly. Also if you accidentally get water in between the leaves of an orchid just blow the water off or this can also lead to rot ( crown rot ). If you are in the area and like orchids give this place a visit, it's nice! read more

0 STARS!!!! Do not come here, save your money and time! Even home Depot and Lowe's has better Orchids and way better customer service! I was disrespected and feel very bad right now, just came out of the store. The old man at the store is a terrible mean person! He made me cry and I have a thick skin too! I came in a really good mood to buy some orchids. And 1) the selection is not what I expected, 2) quality not impressive, 3) The manager complained I spent too long in his store, haha, can you believe a seller ever complaining that a customer is in his store for too long. I was looking around and deciding which ones to buy and he just attacked me! I think he was disappointed that I ended up only buying one of his orchids. He was also really pushy, I was just looking at the orchids and he would assume I buy them all. I am super angry now, totally ruined my flower hunting. Fyi, I am a Gardener and have owned orchids for years. Is there a way to put a warning or scar on a business. If so I would do it for this store. read more
