I requested her to send me data via email which she never did. I just got a email in the evening from her that she cannot process my petition. This law office was too expensive and just pressuring me to change the star rating. Well she can claim any amount she likes to charge but any one with some IQ will not retain her too expensive. Although I made one in-person visit to drop some papers off, most interactions were handled via zoom, phone, email, and an online portal to securely upload documents. While not inexpensive, it was worth every penny to know the paperwork was being done correctly and USCIS wasn't going to come back with a million questions or deny the application. Every case is different and my mom's situation wasn't incredibly complex, but it took half the time we estimated. Bottom line - applying for a green card isn't an easy process, even if you're a native English speaker. There are tons of forms to fill out and documents to provide. The USCIS website is less than helpful and the process itself isn't cheap. This team knows how to make the process relatively painless and get results.
