When I reached out with a gymnastics question -- about a challenge I was having with my girls' current gym -- she was quick to respond and provided great advice. I had a great interview and the owner or whatever she is got my number and told me she'd be in touch. So 4 weeks go by and I heard nothing. I kindly follow up. Nothing. A month later, I see ANOTHER post from them that they are still actively looking for an instructor. I decide to kindly follow up again (3-4 weeks from last follow up) and nothing. I have all the qualifications that they are looking for and she seemed to like me in the interview. If she went with someone else it's basic decency to get back to me and tell me I didn't get the job. I don't see for what reason, but it's rude to just ghost someone when they didn't do anything wrong. It's rude and inconsiderate. Now I see why this gym has bad reviews. Don't go here.

My 4-year old son has been attending classes at Planet Gymnastics for almost a year now and he…read moreloves it! It never ceases to amaze me how different and creative every class is. There are courses built out all over the gym for the kids and they're different every week. They get especially creative around the holidays. They move around the gym to different stations with creative obstacle courses, like climbing along the rungs of a ladder and trying not to fall through the cracks into the swamp with the alligators or hopping over the witches hats on the balance beam! All this really keeps the kids engaged. The teachers are very patient as the little kids aren't usually following all of the directions and they keep the environment fun. Even when my son gets scared of new things, the instructors give the kids the space and support they need to get them motivated to participate. On top of making the classes super fun for the kids, Planet Gymnastics goes above and beyond and recognizes each kid periodically throughout the year with medals, giving them a sense of accomplishment and something to physically bring home for all of their hard work.

My son loved going, he had a ton of fun. The class size was small, great precautions were taken with cleaning and sanitizing. I also appreciated that even in a class for 5-7 year olds, they learned a lot of technical skills for gymnastics; I was even able to help build some of those skills by recreating some of the exercises at our local playground. We also loved the open gym nights where a limited number of kids could come and hang out. We went for Halloween and it was a blast. Great communication on hours and schedule changes. I'm sad that we're leaving this gym as we are moving away from the area, but I highly recommend their youth program.

We were paying $25 more PER MONTH at another local place for the same amount of instruction time. After being at the gym for a few months, It became apparent that this would be our new home. Nicolai is amazing! He is encouraging to his students and is a perfectionist when it comes to form. He teaches in a way that instills confidence. He takes pride in his teaching and it shows. The gym has two open gym days a week, where both members and nonmembers can go to the gym(for a small fee) and use equipment to further their skills or just to have fun. In addition to gymnastics, students can also take self defense courses and circus school class. Definitely worth checking out if you have a budding gymnast!

This place is the best!! We've been going here for years and we love it, and our kids love it! The…read morestaff is so kind and they take time to make sure your kid is doing well. We do swim lessons here in the summer and gymnastics during the school season, and I can't wait for my kids to be old enough so they can attend the various night events and vacation week camps. We started my youngest at 7 months for swimming and 2-ish for gymnastics (honestly this could have been earlier, they just need to be able to walk decently well). You gotta register for things quick, however, as the spots fill up fast!

They use furniture movers to have the kids pull or push their legs for strength and conditioning as an example. After a recent meet, they realized that the girls were talking extra steps on the floor routines so they placed hula hoops on the floor and made the kids stay in them to realize their steps. Autumn is so helpful and friendly at the front desk and the coaches are very nice to the kids as well as the parents. They have welcomed us to their family and we are grateful to them. Be careful when you are selecting a local gym as you have several to choose from. This place has unripped mats, it doesn't have a known pest issue and the coaches are not grumpy and aloof to the people paying them good money! We made the incorrect choice approximately 4 years ago but it is better late then never!
