I have lots of Pandora so I figured I see if they had anything related to Alaska. The man who I believe was the owner, helped us. I picked out two charms that we purchased. He mentioned how beautiful my diamond ring was and said that two of the diamonds were old because they don't cut them that way anymore. I confirmed that two of the diamonds were my mothers so they were older than the the other ones. I was very impressed that he could tell that just from looking at it on my hand. He's the real deal. They also cleaned my ring, which I appreciated. Great and friendly service!

I was actually heart broken about it because I really wanted to find a Sasquatch statue. I watched a TikTok from Sincerely.sarahandharry about the one her husband purchased in Ketchikan. When we got back from our excursion, the lines to return to the ship were LONG. My friends and I ran around all the different shops that we thought may have the Sasquatch statue. One shop even asked me if it had to be Sasquatch, umm Yes! We arrived to Caribou Creek and in hindsight, they were probably closing or closed. There was a bear statue in the doorway that we sneaked in by. They were all very sweet and helpful even though we walked in SO late. I asked if they had a Sasquatch statue, they looked for a bit and remembered there was one left at their family's store across the street called Rain Barrel. Rain Barrel was closed to the public at the time but these sweet people ran over there and checked for me. While checking for it, I explained to them that the statue was the only thing I wanted from this trip. I had no idea these existed until I saw the TikTok. They didn't know about the video and I told them Sincerely.sarahandharry went viral and I showed it to them. They were all so excited to see it and to know it went viral. They couldn't wait to share the news with their family as that sasquatch was from their store too!!! They made my dream come true, I really thought I was going to leave Alaska without by guy Sasquatch. The statue itself is hand made and now resides here in California. I fully recommend their store when you are in Ketchikan. The quality of the service and products is the best.

When I walked into Orca, the owners were immediately friendly and asked if there was something I was looking for. I told them I was looking for a pendant, preferably silver, and they directed me to their cases with pendants. And that's where I saw it. A gorgeous onyx whale tail set in silver with a turquoise "midnight sun" and opal insets, some of which represented the northern lights. I love Alaska and have vacationed by cruise 3 times and by land at least half a dozen times. Whale watching is always a top priority for things to do in Alaska, and I've spent many sub freezing nights in Fairbanks out photographing the auroras. So this was literally the perfect pendant for me. There were large and small ones, but I really like the small because I'm not a very flashy person. There were more in that size than just those in the case, and I was able to look at all of them and decide which one I wanted the most. The pendant is hand made and signed by the artist, and you could tell how proud the owners of the shop were to offer a piece that wasn't mass manufactured. There was no hard sell, but there didn't need to be. I knew I was buying. As we wrapped things up, they decided that my wife Cathy should have something special as well and gave her a wooden whale tail that a friend of theirs hand-carved. It now resides on our display shelves here at home and will always be a reminder of our cruise. It really couldn't have been a better shopping experience.
