In my case, my salivary glands became underachievers as a result of a medication I was prescribed. The number of cavities I got began to increase. But, as one of the hygienists put it, "it's our job to educate, not to judge." The hygienists were more than willing to teach how to protect my teeth. Swishing with water after eating; reducing sugar in the diet; showing me how to improve flossing and brushing techniques, and suggesting products (with coupons) that keep the mouth moist improved things nicely. As a result, I had fewer cavities. Plus, I lost fifteen pounds in eight months, and my A1C level is lower. Dentistry is truly important for the whole body. Thank you Grace Family Dental.

Additionally, the interaction with the office (including who I believe was the owner, Tina) was extremely disappointing. The tone was short, dismissive, and abrasive. No apology was offered. No effort was made to find a solution. No attempt to reschedule was initiated. It was handled with a level of indifference that felt both unprofessional and disrespectful. I also could not ignore the stark difference in demeanor displayed toward another patient in the office at that same time. The contrast in tone and engagement was noticeable and, frankly, concerning. I made the appointment at the recommendation of my niece who had been seeing Dr. Millett for years and loves him. I learned while making the appointment that Dr. Millett does the Business portion of the practice and no longer practices dentistry. I had an appointment today at 11:40 AM and arrived at 11:20 in order to fill out the paperwork. I was seen at 12 PM and had x-rays but a very professional dental hygienist by the name of Frankie and then I met Dr. Fiect Who examined me, stated that I needed all types of dental work and then said he had no time today to fix my Loose bridge. I insisted that the reason I attended today was because I was medically concerned about it. Because I pressed, he attempted to remove my bridge and then informed me that he would not be able to do so without damaging all the teeth around it. He then asked me if it made me feel any better he could give me antibiotics between now and my next visit if I was concerned about infection. Then I was told that they did not have time to clean my teeth today. I've never had this experience in my entire life. I quickly called my former dentist and made an appointment for Monday morning at 8 AM in order to address my medical concern, and then I filed a formal complaint. Something is seriously wrong there and I informed, my niece that Dr. Millett is no longer the acting dentist.
