But I called and requested to speak to someone at the local Monro's; they did not have the part, so I almost drove 30 miles to the closest one to me. Brought my car in for brakes making noise. They took it for a test drive and put it up on lift. Came back to me and said all calipers and brakes needed to be replaced ($1000 price tag) on a vehicle with less than 18k miles. Took it to a place down the street and they charged me $126 to unstick a caliper. Be careful on the upsell! read more

On Friday, July 01, I showed up for my appointment at your Hermitage, PA store (E. State Street) for an oil change for my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica only to be told by the service mgr that you had to use synthetic oil. I disagreed with her and offered to show her in the owner's manual that SAE 0W-20 conventional engine oil approved to FCA Material Standards is recommended by the manufacturer. And further, I offered as proof the service order for my last oil change from the dealer showing the same conventional oil was used. She refused to hear it, saying she would only use synthetic oil. After getting an oil change at this service station, I lost all my oil due to a leaking double oil seal. The technician couldn't be bothered to take out the old oil seal before installing the aftermarket oil filter. Had my car towed and fixed. After picking my car up from a different company, I handed Joseph Link, the manager, the bill which he readily agreed to pay. This happened Oct. 30, 2020. It's now Dec. 15, 2020 and haven't received one penny from them. I will not use this station ever again. read more

Horrible customer service, will never go back. The man at the front desk is rude. I walked in to get an oil change, as soon as I walk in he tells me to sit. I wait 10 min before he even gets to me. Ryan was the first person to help us. We were driving on Route 80 when we developed low tire pressure. We had to fill our tire twice while driving to find a place off the road to fix our tire. Ryan inspected the tire and found the problem. Gary, the mechanic, did great job of fixing it. They are under new management so the reviews about bad customer service are not up to date. This place is great. I wish that every automobile shop had such nice people. We then had to drive 175 miles through a thunderstorm. The tire held perfectly. I took my 2012 Elantra in for new struts and shocks (86k miles). I was charged over $1300 for all 4 struts and shocks, 2 stabilizer bars, and oil change with the upsell to the Goodyear charge account. After half a day of the car at the shop I picked it up and discovered that the noise I took it for to be fixed wasn't. I called the Manager, Ernest, the following weekend and took the car in to look at. They called a couple hours later and told me that it was covered under warranty and good to go. I picked it up again and still the same noise. I went straight to Sears Automotive in Hermitage, PA with my sales receipt from Monro. I was informed, five minutes later that I was charged for parts and labor for installation of two stabilizer bars but the original ones from the factory where still on the car. The struts and shocks where installed and that was it. Being in need of the car for an upcoming business trip I paid Sears to fix the problem. Sears fixed it, because they actually did the work. I am still fighting with Monro Corporate for a reasonable solution to this issue. Save yourself the frustration and do not use Hermitage Monro for any automotive service go somewhere else. If there was a zero or negative rating for this shop I would gladly give it! read more

Bad customer service by the Jeremy@ the Hermitage location. Took my car to this place after getting new front brakes and rotors 1 month ago. Then they tell me that I needed new brakes and rotors for the same ones I just replace.Do not take your vehicle here.Take your Vehicle to a trustworthy company. The customer service guy name Jeremy is who we spoke with was down right nasty and rude. We were getting our vehicle inspected, which only passes the emission.He told us the amount we owned and my husband question the amount due to the car not passing the inspection part.Jeremy did not want to explain the chargers He was been rude to my husband and was pointing at the board of all the chargers. So I guess it was difficult for him to state that the vehicle past emission and not the inspection, but you still will have to pay for the inspection. I told my husband that we were not bringing our cars back here. SO JEREMY STATED IT'S BEST WE DON't BRING OUR VEHICLES BACK. I SAID I WOULD BE HAPPY NOT TO HAVE BRING IT BACK. THIS GUY IS A TOTAL ASS. A JERK, I SEE COMMENT THAT PEOPLE LEFT HOW GREAT HE IS WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE ...WRONG.. HE DID NOT WANT TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING. JUST PAY THE MONEY.
