I needed four new run flats. So Thursday night all my tire lights were coming on after I was on vacation. I called ( 11am Friday) them the next morning. They ordered four new tires and had them put on before 5 PM on Friday. I am so grateful that they made that happen for me so that I was not stuck without a car all weekend. My dealership told me I needed new tires. I stopped at True Tread to get a price. I was greeted by the owner who looked at my tires, then showed me what new tires would look like and told me he felt I didn't need new tires currently. He could have sold me 4 new tires and I wouldn't have known the difference. Appreciate his honesty. read more

Order four 85,000 tires on Tuesday. They said they would be in on Friday and to call back to verify. I called back but they did not answer so I left a message. Went in Friday and they never ordered the tires because "I never called back". I said that I did and left a message to which the counter person said, "Oh, well, I wouldn't have gotten that". The low tire pressure warning flashed on our 4Runner and we were leaving for Columbus the next morning. Robert was closing the shop for the evening but found a large screw in the tire and repaired it. We were so grateful that he stayed over and did the repair. I had one of the worst experiences as a customer at this establishment. I made an appt 3 days ahead of time to take my son's jeep (who is a college student) in for a front end alignment. When I got there the manager Janice seemed very polite and willing to do anything for you. The waiting time was wonderful. Once they pulled the jeep around and said it was finished is when the problems started. The mechanic stated that it was finished but there was a major problem, it did not turn right and to be careful. My response was that I was able to drive it in for an alignment and now it is not drive able and that was unacceptable. He became very agitated and said there was nothing he could do unless they charged me to fix it...$100. We had just put all new hubs, tie rods and other parts ($500 worth) into it before I brought it there. He got irate and took off to the shop to complain about having to re-do his mess up. The manager stated that it would be another 2-3 he's and I would have to pay the $100 or drive it the way it was. It was not driveable... The manager stated that if I wouldn't drive junk, then this stuff would not happen... This was my college sons car and it was in good operating condition until I took it there. Upon picking up the jeep, when I spoke with the owner, his comment was that I was lucky he even fixed the junk because they didn't have to do anything...It was not driveable! I explained to the owner that I knew what mistake the mechanic made because I have done alignments before, and he just laughed and said, "I have no idea how to work on cars I just trust my mechanics"...well, there's the first problem. They were extremely rude if you have any problem at all, and very unknowlegeable in what they are doing. I also witnessed them sell an 80 yr old lady (that I had been talking to while waiting) tires for her car for twice what the retail price is. We just priced out knob tires for the jeep, and the charged her $40/tire more than what they were for my jeep elsewhere...and I told her that. Her car was a small midsized car. They were very smooth and convincing that told the lady she could not even drive down the road or they could blow out. She was so scared that she went ahead and bought them....SCAMMERS!
