They put regular oil in it, and whoever was working with my car left most of the contents of my glove box on the seat and floor in my front passenger side. Jump 2 years ahead of time till now. After repeated calls to try and set an appointment even leaving my name and number, I had to drive down to make one. I was getting a recall, oil changed, and ac fixed. I assumed the ac needed charged since it's 10 years old now, but they assured me they would figure out what was wrong with it. They charged it ($115) to tell me my ac won't work unless I get a fix that will cost over a grand. Now I'm out $115 because of the use of scummy practices. When I called management (took multiple tries) they tried to pretend it couldn't be checked until it was charged. I asked Did they check fuses or anything? Was told ac had nothing to do with fuses. I said it probably still had charge and the compressor (the problem) has a fuse. Then they told me they checked the fuses. Then I asked fuses, thought it had nothing to do with fuses. What kinda fuckin bullshit are you trying to feed me? Then he said he was hanging up because he didn't wanna be cussed at. More likely because he was caught in a lie in 2 sentences. Will never come here again. Already found someone else to fix my car cheaper.

I came back after my weekend away and was told I couldn't get it inspected because of the after market stuff and need a different kind of inspection than they offer. That was ok, ( but there could have been a call made to me from the get go so I could have made other plans. Thanks for wasting my time). Then about the death wobble, the guy told me that it did feel a little squirrly but didn't investigate. Then I was lectured on the size of my tires and basically anything after market done to my jeep. I do not need lectured, I need my jeep fixed. But at least they changed my oil. Thanks for wasting what little time I have. I work on the road and needed this done. Anyone know of anyone in wheeling willing to do the right work? Thinking about paying double for the work. Or asking someone to do the work who will actually investigate and find the problem,,,,,,,, a professional maybe. Also when I was there to pic it up one of the techs tossed a key across the counter, I thought it was mine because it came to me. It wasn't. So the tech grabbed my hand and shook it until it fell out. I figured with all the work needing done it would be about a grand or grand and a half. I was told that "it's against their policy" and "if other shops do this service, why don't you go to them instead of asking us?" I was treated like an alien for asking if I could patronize their business. I would never give this place my business.

I am a hotshot driver who was picking up a load in Pennsylvania when my transmission stopped…read moreshifting and my truck wouldn't go out of 5th gear, far from home and in the middle of nowhere. So I started calling mechanics and the second one I called was Bill at Shadyside towing who told be to bring my truck in and he would look at it. And when he scanned it, at first his mechanic thought that the transmission, control module, and wiring harness all went bad and needed to be replaced, about $3000. So Bill took me to a hotel free of charge and said he would take care of my truck and trailer. That was that. I was helpless and getting ready to pay whatever it took to get my truck running again. Then Bill called the Ford dealership in the next town and they told him to let them look at it and reprogram the computer before he tears out the transmission and costs me a bunch of money. So that's what he did and Ford fixed my truck for free. And after all that, testing my truck, calling his transmission specialist, talking it to the Ford dealership and taking my truck to them, and test driving it to make sure it is fixed, he ONLY charged me $100 for all his time and effort! Now that's incredible!! I truly think that Bill is one of the LAST truly honest mechanics left in the United States! He is a rare person! And I would suggest that anyone within 100 miles of Shadyside, OH look him up and go to him if you have ANY trouble with your car. You will not find a better or more honest shop than his. Took car to get thermostat replaced. Was told it would only take a few hours. It was days then…read moreafter picking the car up it began to overheat. Had the car towed back. It was there for days and we were told they don't know whats wrong with it. Took car to another shop to find out Shadyside towing put the thermostat on wrong and overcharged us. I tried talking on the phone regarding the issue. The owners son Brandon was extremely rude, cussed me out, called me names, and told me to come fight him. I am a female. I then personally went to the shop to obtain a receipt. The owner Bill refused to provide me with one, was extremely rude, called me a bitch and then pulled a gun out of his desk. I then informed him I was recording all this on video. He the grabbed me and pushed me out of the shop. A police report has been filed with the video. Please do not take your car here for your own safety!!!!!!
