While most children's museums are multi levels, this is more like a giant long maze, making exploring each room feel like a treasure hunt. Favorite spots included the authentic log cabin complete with life size baby crib and a little play town with cafe, post office, and nature playground. There were lot of places for parents to sit and the whole museum felt relatively low key. The front desk was super nice and reminded us many times that we could come and go as we pleased throughout the day. Since we are American Children's Museum members we got free admission which was a huge added perk. Love being able to learn, explore, and play with my littles all around the US.

Great hands on play for your kids!…read more We were in the area and since it was hot we wanted an indoor activity for our kids. The museum recommends 8 and under. Our kids are 8, 7 and 5. The website does a great job of explaining where to park. We followed our gps and it took us the emergency exit entrance. The entrance is right on the main brick road. The museum will also validate your pass so parking is free. Entering was easy and we let the kids loose. We spent about 2 hours but they could have easily stayed longer. They do not allow food in the museum but you can come and go as you please. Great experience to let your kids explore.

I'm more of a comic book collector, but their section of graphic novels was fun to dig around. The staff steered me towards the next area to find some comic adjacent products, and it just got better as the evening went on. Some further digging led to more finds, and even the person working the counter joining in to help find some more. Walked out with some great TPB's, GN's, and a hardcover I've been hoping to find in the wild for the better part of 20 years. Wow! This place gets all the stars for great customer service. Upon arrival I was greeted…read moreimmediately, told about the sales, and chatted briefly about the merch. Contrary to how some boutique thrift stores can be, the ladies here were very nice! I was impressed with their wall to wall selection of staple and vintage clothing items. The curation of this place was a nice mix of estate/heirloom pieces that ranged from tweed jackets, wool skirts, silk blouses, to an ample selection of accessories for both men and women. There were even a few formal wear dresses for black tie events or weddings. The quality was still top notch. I was also impressed with their men's tie selection, noting that there was one from Oscar De La Renta (very cool). Overall, a good variety of clothing for both men and women. The furniture/kitchen/art/textile/book selection was fair but not as extensive as their clothing. I did also note a beautiful Persian rug for sale in their entrance way. All in all, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Based on my conversation with the sales associate, they tend to bring in new (well, "new" being relative as it is a gently used shop) items frequently.
