I want to start by saying that I am not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones. However, after the egregious acts and policies of this company and after multiple negative experiences, I just have to put something out there. This company WAS the furniture insurance company used for Arhaus furniture. It is now VERY obvious why Arhaus has dumped them as the company they use for insurance claims, after the experience I have had. Where to begin--- we bought two matching sofas from Arhaus. After we had a stain on one of the sofas, we used the insurance plan that we bought to file a claim on the stain (which is well within the policy). A technician came out and, instead of attempted to clean the stain, deemed it not fixable and recommended that the entire fabric be changed out. I explained that due to normal wear and tear, I had concerns that new fabric on one sofa would look very different than the fabric on the other, matching sofa. The technician agreed and noted that in the paperwork. After speaking with his supervisor and after I spoke with them, I agreed to the plan to replace the fabric on both sofas (the solution MONTAGE came up with). We booked the install. On the day of the install, a technician showed up to "clean the fabric." When I explained that he was there to replace the fabric with the fabric the company had sent me (which I had and showed him), he called his supervisor again and they admitted that THEY had incorrectly booked the appointment and he would not have time to do the fabric exchange and would have to reschedule. Frustrating, but not a problem. Things happen. The company called and gave me one date option to come back out, which did not work for my work schedule. I asked if there were any more dates available and they said they would have to get back with me. After not hearing from them, I reached out to them and tried to book the installation appointment. At that time, they told me they could schedule me for a cleaning. After I explained that the cleaning could not be done and that THEY recommended a fabric change instead, the representative told me that they needed to get the ticket fixed from cleaning to replacement and would get back with me. Again I waited. After not hearing from them for over a week, I called AGAIN. AGAIN I was offered a cleaning of the sofa. AGAIN, i explained that they had the ticket wrong. The representative agreed they saw that it was incorrectly in the system and said they would have it fixed and would reach out. AGAIN, I didn't get a call so I called them and again the ticket was wrong. This went on for MONTHS. MONTHS of me calling and having to explain that I just needed them to install the fabric they had already sent me. Months of them telling me that I needed a cleaning first and, after explaining that they already did that step, them telling me that they have the ticket wrong, a supervisor needs to look at it and they'll get back to me. Then, out of blue, I get an email saying that they can no longer honor that claim because it has been TOO long since the first claim was made and that the claim would be closed due to "abandonment"!! So, obviously, I called them to see how this could be the case. That when they let me know that they would NOT come out and install the fabric because of abandonment and that filing another claim (because its STILL under warranty) would also be denied. This is a complete racket and scam. So essentially, they declined to do the original cleaning (part of their job), claiming that it needs a replacement (also part of the warrant and their job) but then CONVENIENTLY never comes and does the replacement because of a "system" problem on their part and then pushes off fixing the problem long enough to where they can claim that the customer didn't do their part and "abandoned" the claim. That way they never have to come out and do the replacement and then they can cancel/void the warranty due to abandonment to where they don't have to manage any more claims on that piece of furniture. I do not know how this is even legal. They've already noted that the problem falls under the warranty policy and agreed to fix it but then put off actually doing the job and blamed me for it. What a scam. I can't imagine how many other people they have swindled out of their insurance plans by screwing them over with messing up their appointments and then blaming the customer. Unfortunately, this is NOT the only piece of furniture I have through this company. Since this incident, they have blanketly denied all other claims I've made on this furniture and any furniture I have through the company. No explanation, just a denial. This company should be ashamed of themselves. No wonder Arhaus no longer uses them. Based on all the reviews, I'm clearly not alone in this experience. It's just a shame that this company can have such little integrity that they have to swindle their customers like this. read more

I purchased a Helix mattress and bought their 10-year accidental coverage. Per Helix's website, this covers accidental stains including "Human and Pet bodily fluids." My infant daughter threw up on the mattress, so I filed a claim. Montage denied my claim saying this is not covered in my "protection plan agreement" that I was never given a copy of (and still don't have). Clearly, Montage is a scam and no one should be wasting their money on these warranties because they will use every excuse in their "protection plan agreement" to not cover claims. We purchased the Montage furniture protection plan for our couch two years ago. Within the two years the cushions are warping and flattened. We use our couch for a couple of hours a day and are not heavy people. We were told when purchasing the protection plan that we would be taken care of. Montage has declined our claim stating wear and tear. 2 years of 2 hours a day of use should not have caused the amount of flattening and warping. I will Never use this company again. My experience with Montage was very dissatisfying. As I explained to the agents who I chatted and spoke with on the phone, we were experiencing an "intermittent" problem with our LaZBoy sofa. We have been experiencing a squeal when raising or lowering the right and left side of sofa. It started intermittently around the beginning of December and then started to happen more regularly later in the month. Once the problem started happening regularly, and could be duplicated, I reported it via your website. I provided an honest, best estimate, as to when the problem started occurring, intermittently. I spent over 40 years in high tech customer service. I have dealt with many intermittent problems during that time. They are very difficult to resolve until they can be duplicated, troubleshot, and subsequently fixed. Had I known how inflexible you are to a "30 day reporting window", which I missed by four (4) days. I would have used the date when the problem became duplicatable, instead of the initial date when we saw the intermittent problems. I will let my friend's, family, and acquaintances know about your inflexible policies and lack of customer support. I will not purchase, nor recommend, an extended service plan from Montage. The vinyl furniture is tearing based on normal wear and tear but that is not covered. One of the bedroom sets has a piece broken off because it is chipboard. That also is not covered. I originally filed a claim in January 2025, but was turned down, I refiled a claim and was approved in March 2025. I called them in June asking if I was being punked, should I inform the Attorney General in Michigan and Illinois to get involved. I recommend that you NEVER USE this insurance company for your furniture. I purchased all my furniture from Ashley and paid over $1,300 for insurance. Unfortunately, the seams on my sofa are separating in different places on all the seats and backrests. The first claim I made was for five covers, and they replaced them accordingly. I've now contacted Montage to begin replacing the remaining covers. It's logical that if the fabric gives way at the seams, it will happen on all the seats and backs. They've consistently refused to cover these types of incidents because it "is not covered" by the plan I purchased, which is entirely false. I read it line by line, specifically under the section 'Repair Plan - Coverage (Seam Separation).' It's unheard of for the same defect to be approved for some seats and backs and not for others. It's worth noting that I paid for the Premium Select Combination 5-Year Protection Plan Agreement, which wasn't a basic plan. read more
