Unfortunately, that first mattress was not the best and I felt like I was sinking into the bed and opted to get another box mattress with the recommendations from various friends, and finding that mattress way too stiff. Finally, I decided to go back to Mattress Firm and try various mattresses! The Knapp store I originally tried was much much larger and more spacious than the East location, but they still had a lot of variety. I probably laid on 3-4 types, with the help from the sales associate, I found myself being much more aware of how much shoulders and hips hit on the mattress. I thought I was more of a medium-firm person, but come to find out, the mattress I liked the best was considered a plush pillow-top! Gregory was very knowledgeable and provided guidance on the bed needed, walked me through a couple beds and their various price points and even educated me on the adjustable bed frames! Ultimately, I decided to just purchase the mattress and before I decided, I probably laid on the bed for a good 10 minutes, playing on my phone, moving around (with my boyfriend taking a cat nap) to see how we both liked the mattress. The check out process did take quite a bit longer than I anticipated (probably closer to 30 minutes than what I thought would only be 15), due to availability of the mattress and delivery windows. The value was fair, and I got $500 off with their discounts and coupons, but they do charge a $99 delivery fee for in room delivery and a $200 return window and restocking fee. So I'm hopeful that I do not need to return it or exchange. But I do recommend them, mattress shopping is stressful and they did a great job educating me!

Reschedule for Friday 7am-10am, then woke up to text sent at 11pm night before that NEW window of time is 11am-1pm. Showed up at noon and service took less than 5 minutes. Unbelievable

Terrible when you've removed all furniture from your living room. Told by customer service it would be expedited and then they tell us delivery 11 days out.

Couch back boards broke to where boards put hole in back of couch and messed up my wall. Loveseat wasn't as bad but seams on front bottom came open and the recliner omg seams in seat and lower part came apart and the material was unraveling. Lesson learned never will buy funiture from there again. And never that material pay a little more and get something that will last more than 6 months before you have to replace it

Not a bad store at all…read more Anyone that really knows me knows that all I wear pretty much is Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirts, t shirts and jeans so I want to see if this Grand Rapids location had anything that I couldn't get back home in Pittsburgh. They did have a few jackets that weren't carried back home yet but, we did get them a few weeks later. I saw a few really nice shirts but, I couldn't bring myself to buy them as Michigan pays tax on clothes and in PA we don't. This location inside Woodland Mall was pretty crowed everywhere we went as a "One Day Sale" was going on but, the salespeople seem to be handling it pretty well. They were really friendly though.

They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

I am disappointed with Klingman's Furniture in Holland, Michigan. I got the run around so many…read moretimes from the staff at that location. My small furniture item that was custom ordered (a small corner cabinet), and way-overpriced, took months longer then it should have to arrive. After waiting for 2 months for the call it was ready to pick up, and hearing nothing, I reached out to the store and was told that the item was still sitting at another location and that it was damaged. I would never have heard or known about this status, without me checking on it. Then there was zero contact for another month and half. I called several times asking for a manager so I could get more details - and NEVER heard back from her. I did get a call from the sales girl that said it hadn't arrived yet. There were no apologies for the inconvenience, or effort made to make it right. Finally, I tried reaching out again a few weeks later, this time in person! I showed up and the assistant manager Bob was there and was great; but all he offered was to have this small cabinet delivered to my house (could easily fit in my vehicle, so this was not very beneficial to me.) But I accepted, and he was a pleasant, nice man who was making an effort to help in the bad situation. Unfortunately, on the day they decide to deliver the following week, I am at work and they give me a 2-3 hour timeframe for delivery. It was conflicting with my work arrangements, but I tried to keep those hours clear. Sadly, they came after the timeframe and I was not able to be there to inspect the item. They offered to leave it outside. I called Bob to see if i could just pick it up from the store, and he said no, they already had arranged it for delivery. I would have preferred to receive a discoun/refund on my item instead of this massive headache and additional stress I received. My son ended up going to the house to be there to let them in. All in all, I paid too much for this item to begin with, and then horrible customer service from the beginning, from most of the staff. I would have expected better from a high end furniture store. I won't be shopping here again and suggest you don't either.
