I did not realize how intense the games can get, and am still hoping to win one day. They also offer affordable Wednesday night dinners that are catered and the drinks are cheap ($2 beers). I might be on the younger side but don't mind learning from our older members. Everyone here is very respectable and great. I like taking my kids here over the summer to the pool to enjoy. They also have a cantina bar to enjoy a cocktail or beer under the sun. They also have Wednesday night dinners for a reasonable price. Also throughout the year they have many events to enjoy. I would recommend checking them out.

There is a ballet school that also uses the building so there are dance bars on two of the walls as well as mirrors. They melt into the background and during our event I did not even notice them. There is a cute little stage and a mini PA system which we adequately hooked up a table with Wifi and had some background music. The venue provided an LCD projector so we could show a slide show of pictures. Their equipment made everything so easy. The large, modern kitchen made it easy on our caterers. They remarked how easy it was for them. The venue provided and set up the tables and comfortable, padded chairs, set up per per our layout design. We have nothing but great things to say about this venue. The private parking lot made it very easy for our guests. This is a location we would definitely consider in the future.

It has beautiful wooden floors, vinatge chandeliers, huge soaring windows to let in the natural bright sunlight or you can pull the shades to darken the room. It used to be used as a church and it has beautiful vaulted ceilings and a stage and a loft.There is a spotless kitchen with a huge stove with multiple burners and a huge industrial size oven. They have a caretaker that will do table and chairs set up and take down exactly in the formation you wish for your event, customized to your specification. I have had nothing but good things to say about the club at 737 Walnut Street in San Carlos. There is three conveniently located bathrooms-one off the kitchen and another 2 bathrooms near the entrance. Of course being a garden club the landscape is impeccable and the fence is well maintained with a great parking lot. If you don't want to be disappointed, I highly recommend it for your events. Food is okay unless you are unlucky like me and get myself and my friend food poisoning from their strawberry matcha latte $13.50 each. We got our refund but no word of apology. - cafe staff is more likely not to know how to process your member credit. More than 50% of the time using your member credit is an uncomfortable experience and they just like to blame another team for why they are not trained. - the space is closed or partially closed whenever they can get it rented. Members just have to deal. - for $3000 a year shack15 is trying too hard to be cool but it just feels pretentious and almost unwelcoming. The events. You don't have to be a member to go to the events. À la carte payments work. Some events are good. If you are looking for Coworking space and want ergo set up this is not the place. If you want to meet people it's not great at facilitating a true community. It is a beautiful space that unfortunately doesn't deliver on its promise for me.

Unfortunately the ice wasn't in cubes so the flavor was so watered down that I couldn't taste the gin at all...We then were served some great little warm breads with delicious butter YUM! The split mixed iceburg lettuce salad arrived which was a generous portion & well dressed with some notes of tarragon ..nice! John ordered the braised short rib & he subbed out the mashed potato/roquefort for the fried potato disks that came with the rib eye. Good spuds! My beef bourguignon had wonderful toothsome wide egg noodles but weirdly, chunks of green pepper & undercooked pearl onions? The beefy gravy was perfect on the pasta BUT the beef's texture was terrible.. mushy without a smidgen of bite! YUCK! When John had me taste his beef the resuts were much the same... too soft & textureless.. then the opposite...the pretty split carrot halves were too hard & undercooked on his plate to bring out their sweetness....I assume these 2 long cooked meats styles had been sitting for god knows how long I left most of the dinner to take home & see if I could repair the dish... (I'll probably eat the noodles and use the beef in a taco?). so my suggestion is to order the rack of lamb (if I return....which John had had & recommended) & stay away from long cooked items (except beans)
