More than 50% of the time using your member credit is an uncomfortable experience and they just like to blame another team for why they are not trained. - the space is closed or partially closed whenever they can get it rented. Members just have to deal. - for $3000 a year shack15 is trying too hard to be cool but it just feels pretentious and almost unwelcoming. The events. You don't have to be a member to go to the events. À la carte payments work. Some events are good. If you are looking for Coworking space and want ergo set up this is not the place. If you want to meet people it's not great at facilitating a true community. It is a beautiful space that unfortunately doesn't deliver on its promise for me.

The inside cashier was cool. 80's vibe. Bought a strawberry cobbler. One of their popular desserts they say. Would I come back? Probably not. It was an awesome experience but it was a run down farm. Pictures can be deceiving online. Maybe once upon a time the farm was boomin but I can't see how. Should really invest it to make it enjoyable for family and kids of all ages especially those visiting.

My goodness, the churro is FRESHLY FRIED! None of that frozen stuff heated in the toaster. These churros were fried! The best part? It was only $5!!! The stadium experience was great! Friendly crowds. The firework show are at the end of the night? Impressive! It blew my expectations away! Definitely worth it if you like baseball and want a fireworks show! Simply because the whiskey flight included with the $40 passes was long gone by the time we finally figured out how check-in (at Ashy Aroma's) to get our passes and tickets to enjoy the benefits. But the addition of Jackie's Place stage to Sofa Street Fair is a true block party feeling! You'll catch such fun events as line dancing, fraternity strolls and sorority stepping, wing eating contests, live DJ's, and all the melanated joy you can imagine in DTSJ's Sofa District. The VIP pass also gives you access to bar with specialty drink options. I sadly missed the fun that started here at 2 pm, but was happy to help close down the evening and enjoy some burlesque at the Haberdasher, Sissyfit, Angerhead, and some crowd line dancing I only see in Oakland or at Stern Grove. Such a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in The Bay.

The SoFA Street Fair is an amazing music festival which we attended this past Sunday. Our favorite musical acts were Dirty Cello with their delightful performance of catchy rock and blues tunes (we've seen them at least a couple times now) and Shark in the Water, a surf metal band featuring playful props and attire and engaging the crowd with hilarious lyrics and facts, SHARK facts. The UGWA wrestling matches scheduled in the late afternoon/evening added variety to the entertainment at the event, filled with comedic commentary and performances by amusing characters. This is real.... real weird... and strangely I couldn't get enough. We checked out various vendors and booths including Guitar Wars and The Void, where we got to to spin the wheel and win free stuff... a tote bag, stickers, and guitar picks (my musician bf puchased more of these from them too). To eat, we snacked on some yummy egg rolls from Saigon Street Food, nachos from Grillzillas, and a strawberry and chocolate covered sweet treat from the Waffle Amore food truck. We also, grabbed some beer and wine from one of the drink tents on site. Sure, we had to pay for parking nearby and the lines for the porta potties had long waits, and as it turned out, some of the sound setups and equipment weren't ideal. But overall we had a lovely time, the perfectly imperfect outing for music lovers. And the best part is it was free admission.

Once you have the required 10 stamps, you can keep going or turn your card in for a drawing to win something like a gift certificate to a restaurant. It's a cute, fun activity to participate in during the week with your significant other, friends or family after work. There's a great turn out every year and jovial vibes. They served more food this year. So we didn't head to dinner afterwards. See you there next year!

Our overlooked gem of this year was Mediterranean Grill House, which offered some great tea and Turkish delight, and I definitely want to stop by here again for some good coffee and treats! Who knew it was tucked away on the far end of Castro street?? Top food samples came from St Stephen's Green (I had no idea they had Irish stew here!) Eureka (cheese balls were delish) and generous slices of pizza from Blue Line, one of my favorite deep dish spots! All of the business owners and event staff working each booth / winery / restaurant were super friendly, and it was overall such a great vibe walking up and down the block, wine in hand, as the sun set over balmy 70 degree weather. A perfect night thanks to MTV and Yelp- thank you again so much and I'm definitely telling everyone I know to sign up for this event next year!
