T would come by and assess our backyard every once in a while and once we were able to start designing the landscape he was fully hands on & ALWAYS available. We needed A LOT of work including top soil leveling, sod, mulch beds, big trees, shrubs, sprinklers fixed etc. He took the time to meet me at nursery to help pick out exact trees & shrubs that would look best with our landscape design. We made arrangements to have the tree removed immediately. Because of the nature of my situation he had to rearrange a couple things to make sure that he got to my house immediately. I was quite impressed. I seen all the different types of equipment he had so he removed the tree with care even though it was close to my house. When he was done, the stump was ground chips all picked up and filled. He also made a recommendation for me to get a exterminator due to the fact that the tree had been infested with carpenter ants. Not only is he a professional in his craft he also cares about the homeowner. I knew that because he had to rearrange his schedule and also make a recommendation to make sure that my house would be protected due to the fact it was infested with ants.

We got a recommendation from a neighbor…read more.. I contacted GKB Landscaping initially by email. Mark came over to our house on a Saturday about 2 weeks ago. He made a few suggestions for upgrades around our yard. Both backyard and front walkway. After going to the nursery that they deal with that same very day, we placed our order. Replacing two centennial hollies with black mulch was a start. Followed by 3 hostas by our walkway. Also added a small knock out bush (rose) , along with one smallish gold mop by the front corner. It took the 4 guys a tad over an hour to get everything planted. Prices are reasonable. Expect to wait a few weeks for your work to be completed. This is a local business in the area of South River/Sayreville/South Amboy NJ. Thanks for bringing back our yard.
