I will say that this happened during 2020, however, it's now Dec. 2022 & still they have not followed up with the marker or photos. I have called several times & still I have not received the promised photos to show that the marker has in deed been placed. Very disappointed.

It's a breath-taking site and a bittersweet reminder of what these national cemeteries represent. Veterans of all wars beginning with the Civil War are here. Although the headstones are uniform, as is the lettering (except for those pre-dating WWI), some are in the ground and some are not, the singular touches added by the families make each personal. On this morning, the Memorial Day flags were drying from the heavy rain the night before. Some had fallen over. Visitors like me would straighten them as we walked. The flowers dotting the landscape acknowledge those who haven't been forgotten in the recent times, and Memorial Day is a kind of equalizer. Every grave has a flag. There were some visitors who never left their cars, either they parked somewhere, or drove slowly looking. Just looking. Other people, some disabled, exited their cars and made their way slowly through the markers. Visiting a national cemetery is more than just acknowledging the meaning of these places, but also about the people that visit -- even those who come by but once a year or once a lifetime.

Tressy is very accommodating and goes well beyond what you would expect from most services of this kind. She's always been flexible with our schedule, and if we've needed an extra cleaning here and there she's always found a way to work us in. She always follows up with us, and any concerns I've ever had (and let me say there have been very few if any) were always addressed and never have I had the same twice. I really appreciate his responding to me, and now I will be sure to contact him should I have any problems with any of my appliances. It is refreshing to find someone locally who genuinely cares about helping others. I believe he is the same one who came out a year or so ago, because his granddaughter accompanied him.
