I do so and shown to be A bed where i -you guessed it--wait and wait and wait. Finally after 3 hrs I get dressed and as I'm leaving the nurse and doctor come out to ask why am I leaving!? Are they FUCKING KIDDING ME!? A three hr wait for 20 minute procedure? Meanwhile the nurses receptionist and whoever else is back there is just having a good old time-laugh galore! It was a horrible experience overall. I'd rather go to a private clinic. This place is terrible. It's run terrible, looks terrible and the people are inept and clueless. If I had stage 4 colon cancer I wouldn't go back there. Fuck 'em.

He was threatening to leave…read moreAMA (against medical advice) and while I advised against this because he is currently unfit to live at home I can sympathize with why he wants to leave. The room is small, filthy and badly needs painting. My dad has a room mate who had the television on so loud I could barely hear my dad speaking but I heard enough to gather that there was a fist fight involving others who came into the room the previous night. Needless to say he doesn't get much sleep there. There is a toilet in the bathroom but no sink. This facility is a hellhole and not a place where people can heal. We are desperately looking for another place where he can get the care and rest he so sorely needs.

How can I describe what I saw while visiting an aunt who is recovering from a horrible heart…read moreattack?... Horrendous. The nurse on the second floor, Glenda is the most awful person. I asked her to please help me move my aunt's legs since she was uncomfortable but she stated that she had no time for me. When I can't go in person, I call and when Glenda picks up, it is almost always with an attitude and a nasty tone. She claims she has 14 other patients she needs to take care of and for that reason, she has no time to check up on my aunt. She's always making up excuses as to why she can't go check in on a patient for two minutes. Not to mention, when it's lunch time, all of the nurses leave and not one or two is left to tend to the residents needs, so if someone needs help, they should just know that no one is going to help them because no one is there. It's sickening and unbelievable that residents have to be waiting for long periods of time when they need assistance. It's obvious that the place is understaffed but nothing is being done to change that. The overnight staff are terrible too. When someone calls them they come to them with a very nasty attitude and take forever to get to a resident; they don't care about the people they're supposed to be taking care of. I was told about two male NP's hitting the patients for no reason and they are very rough with them. I also noticed that my aunt's medication is never given to her on time, even the person next to her told me that most of the time they are in severe pain and the nurses just ignore and neglect them. The staff don't change their clothes daily, maybe 2 or 3 days later; they are very unhygienic. The supervisor and staff are highly unprofessional. This place is seriously the worst. It seems like they tend to forget that if it wasn't for all of the people at the rehab center, they wouldn't have this job in the first place. Please if you do care for your family DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS PLACE !!!!

On the way out, I got papers from Tabitha, who was equally friendly and efficient. The whole visit was delightfully compact; everyone laughed at my nervous-patient jokes, and I went out into the night feeling that I had been treated extra-kindly by informed human beings. I know this isn't the stereotype of urgent care, and people in pain always see flaws, but this place is GREAT. I don't want to have a reason to come there again, but I would be comforted if I had to.
