After multiple visits and imaging, communication and follow-up were extremely poor. I requested a simple call to review my CT results but received no response and was only contacted 20 days later. In the meantime, I was billed for the scan without getting timely results or a clear care plan. The lack of communication and delays made an already difficult recovery more stressful and costly. The dr prescribed meds , and if the condition doesn't improve, call the office or send a e-mail through Westmed app. 4 days later, condition worsen and the teacher send an email, that afternoon, I called Westmed and email the Dr. few minutes later, they called me back and schedule an apt the next day. Driving to Boyce is easy sailing because it's right off the saw mill park way, not much traffic , the location has a lot of parking, there's an apple bee restaurant, Starbucks , taco and sushi place, even a gym is in the facility; the real estate is growing , I like the location, after, checking in, I was in the dr office with in mins. I will say, however, that my counselor Kimberly was a gem and took her time to actually get to know me. She is the reason I graduated from the program. My single star is for her alone, as New Focus is clearly where adults go to gossip.

After waiting two hours and forty-five minutes for morphine, I chose to depart due to unsanitary conditions and a perceived prioritization of opioid treatments. When asked, I conveyed my preference to leave rather than tolerate the unhygienic environment. In light of this experience, I recommend avoiding this hospital, seemingly prioritizing mental health and opioid-related services. I asked for a script for blood work and so far, ive been waiting 2 entire weeks just to get the scrip- I still dont have it and i have a serious medical issue. They told me they sent it to the labs so i went down to the labs to get the tests and the labs never got it so it was never sent. The drs see you for for 5 minutes and then the medicare bill says it was a long visit so they can bill more. Dont go here if you are sick or if you need medication or a test because you are just a number and $$$$.

She must be new because the older woman at the front desk was always so lovely! This newer receptionist was complaining that I did not answer my phone, that I needed a refill for a medication from a doctor who no longer works in the office and belittle me over making my yearly appointment. Besides the very unfriendly and miserable new receptionist, I'd recommend Dr. Dicker to anyone!
