I had to have my car that was running when I brought it in towed because they f'd up my engine - just for spark plugs & an air filter - both put in wrong! It made my engine overheat to the point it warped several things & now burns oil like crazy, which happened immediately after their "work" on it. Cost me about $3000 cuz they got oil and gas mixed together in my engine & - didn't put the plugs in all the way or tighten them. Tried to sell me a coil pack AS MY CAR that had been running was THEN being towed to the dealership because it wouldn't run at all! The manager told me his guys couldn't have possibly done anything wrong & supposedly watched a video of them doing the work...Why was my car running properly when it came in & then not running & having to be towed to the dealership, which told me the plugs weren't in all the way or hooked up right & that the air filter was in wrong? The Mavis manager then said my dealership was lying to me to get more money out of me! Mavis blamed me for the spark plugs not being what they would recommend & then they blamed my car, Chevy Cruze, which is a very popular car to work on!!! The manager put blame on everybody but the mechanic that did the work! Then, he wrote out a FAKE voucher for $850 towards the $3000 the dealership charged to get all the gas & oil separated in my engine & put a 4th set of spark plugs in! The voucher wasn't able to be honored or found in Mavis Palmyra PA system & after Palmyra manager supposedly had a chat with Middletown PA manager, I received literally Nothing back & they gave me a Free oil change before talking to the other Ahole manager. I refuse to go into either one of them or any other Mavis shops again, because I'm more afraid of being hauled off by the cops than I am of them. Oh, the tow truck driver told me he hauled MANY cars from MAVIS in Middletown because they f'd up the people's cars! So, I wanna know WHY these people have such a high review rating, unless they are also FAKING their reviews?!? These people need shut down!!!

Upon leaving the car made noises he hadn't heard before,so took it back n conversation didn't go well . Couldn't admit up front (they made an error ,so technically lied about it. Stated the under carriage worked on wasn't wiped down ,showing salt n road grim but clearly from the pics he had it was. So at his expense it was towed to His dealer where it was bought n after checking it out ,yes confirmed,it was Jiffy Lubes fault ,so now he had another bill to pay ,lost 2 days of work n all they would compensate him for was the oil change in the end. I should think with a business you hv n bad employees that don't know what they're doing ,he wouldn't have a job any longer. So I see them for my next Oil change n my family n friends.....never to go there .And after reading quite a few reviews, Jiffy Lube shouldn't even be in business! Our latest issue involved needing an emergency PA State Inspection for one of our kids living out of state. Don was backed up but worked him in. While that was ongoing, my husband and I had car trouble in New York state. We had the car towed to Hershey Auto, and despite being backed up, he ran diagnostics and solved the problem. Separately, they work hard at Hershey Auto to present your repair options, the time it will take, and the cost of each option. They walk through the pros and cons of each path. Cannot speak highly enough of Don, Robert, and Hershey Auto.

All the correspondence I've had with them has been informative and best of all: kind. Don explained what I needed done and didn't try to add anything. They have early drop off available, so I could leave my car the night before and fill out a form/envelope and slide it in the bay safely. My car was ready before I was even done with work the next day. Their transparency gave so much peace of mind. Now for the best part: the price! I was expecting to pay three times what I was charged here. I can truly say they treated me like a grandkid and took great care of me! Highly recommend and can't thank them enough.
