We were in the mood for Italian and decided to stop by Montesacro to check it out. From the outside, it appears to be a small, cozy spot but once you step inside, there's a garden area off to the left with additional seating in the back. The ambiance is dimly lit, warm and inviting, it's perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with family. We started with the focaccia and burrata. The focaccia was crispy, light, and flavorful. For our mains, we ordered the cacio e pepe, the margherita pizza, and the bistecca (NY strip). Each dish was executed well and full of flavor. The cacio e pepe was perfectly balanced, the margherita was fresh and classic, and the bistecca was cooked just right. All three are definite must haves. Good service, price point is $25 to $35 on average.

Really cute vibes and staff! I picked this one off of Yelp and reading reviews and my craving for pasta. I was not disappoint! Pictures always help me out and I really appreciate seeing what the menu had to offer and I asked the staff member what was good. I was craving a good protein and got the grilled octopus to start and then the cacio e pepe. The octopus was grilled and came over top this chickpea and celery (thinly sliced) olive (thinly sliced) salad. I thought I hated chickpeas but love love love them now. It was a simple and and mild in flavor but the octopus cut like butter. It was larger than I thought but for the price its a good portion. The cacio e pepe was creamy salty and everything I was craving that I had to eat it all (NO LEFTOVERS THIS TIME). Its a cute spot to go for a date and I wish I had seen the garden area but so glad I stopped in!

We walked into this restaurant and there was a small receiving area but the area in the back is beautiful. There was no line but we waited for a few minutes for the host to come out.

Carciofi is truly outstanding! Lemon and mint pesto are superb!

My wife and I had a 6 pm reservation on a Saturday and were seated right away. The garden dining area is gorgeous and has a retractable roof which was open. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. We selected porchetta, coppa de testa, and carciofi for appetizers. The porchetta and coppa de testa were the personification of porky goodness! That said, the carciofi stole the show! Perfectly tender and served with mint pesto and paper thin lemon slices, absolutely divine! My wife had the New York strip steak, served with an amazing layered potato side, and delicious greens. I had the pinsa from the specials menu. It featured ramps, fava beans, Calabrian chili, and lemon zest. Texture was awesome and the flavors were the essence of spring. Have to admit, the Calabrian chilis are hot enough to be addictive. My wife enjoyed the barolo wine by the glass. Truly a fantastic dinner!

Ambiance is lovely; the garden seating in the back is covered and had a great vibe. Our wine was chosen for us and both options were perfect for each of us. We had the squash to start; I loved the honey but my friend found it too sweet. We had the beef tartare as well which was absolutely delicious. For mains we shared the recommended pizza (also had honey) and the carbonara. The pizza crust is light, sweet and delicious. Definitely memorable. Service was very attentive at the beginning of the meal and less so towards the end. We barely touched the carbonara and it still ended up on the bill.

The ambiance, service, food basically everything was GREAT! I really like the lightning in the space. It felt so elegant and cozy at the same time! It was a nice dinner spot for a girl's night!

What a beautiful and stunning spot! The seating area in the garden is breathtaking and super cozy and romantic and all of the exposed brick is simply perfect. The food is incredible - I am still thinking about the burrata and cacio de pepe a week after being there. Ample drink choices to choose from and the staff were so friendly! I am already thinking about my next trip back to the area just so I can come back again :)

Seated for 4 at 7pm tonight reservation at the Garden. I nominate this establishment as one of the best Italian spots in Williamsburg. The garden is a perfect place for intimate dinner or if you plan for an anniversary with your special someone, this could be it. Food wise, everything is marvelous, not a single margin error. We ordered the Arthicoke app which we think taste wise, it's just okay, portion is tiny. We also ordered Fritto Miso which we found it quite delightful [fried wild shrimp, squid, broccoli rabe] comes with their homemade tartar condiment. Then we proceed to order their pinsa with honey [this is a must order, very tasty!!] perfect crust, texture, the thinly sliced meat paired well with the honey and cheese. We also ordered the Bistecca - quite chewy, the meat quality could be better, nonetheless... cooked to perfection temp wise [we ask for medium rare], and Spaghetti Nero [squid ink pasta with seafood], this is really good for what it is. I would love to try their wine but since Im driving, I skip it, maybe next time... definitely a return customer for sure!!

Great atmosphere. Montesacro is really conveniently located by the subway station. Walking in, there's plenty of seating inside but also a beautiful outside area that feels like you're dining and drinking in a garden. The menu is a good size , so there's plenty to order from without feeling too overwhelmed. What I love about Montesacro is the quality of the ingredients - the pasta is house made drawn durum-wheat and the pizza is proofed for 72 hours. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu from steak to octopus to salad to pasta and pizza. The food came pretty quickly and everything was well seasoned. Some dishes are bigger than others but in general the portions are a good size. The atmosphere is great for any setting so I'll definitely be back to check it out again.

This is a great restaurant! If you get the avocado toast definitely add on the smoked salmon. It was delicious! I also had a margarita pizza that was well made and delicious. Ambience in the back or what they call the "garden" was really nice. Service was great.

unbelievable experience. the overall experience from the guest service to the quality of the food was outstanding. We each got a pasta and split the pizza (pinsa) - for the pizza we got the Casal Bertone. It was phenomenal and we will be returning just for that! Perfect balance of salty with the kick of sweetness of honey. Pasta was flavorful, and ending the night with the affogato dessert. will be coming back!

Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

As I worked my way through my beers, the amazing bartender perfectly timing my refills, I felt as if this may be my new place. My "get away from all the noise" safe haven. That was until I was halfway through beer three. It all got dark. I mean it literally got dark. A waitress began pulling down all the blinds, taking away the sun haven I had found myself loving. Taking away the joy I had worked so hard to achieve. That is when I knew that that beer would be my last. I did not come to a bar with a wall of windows to end up in a place darker than the Rikers Island cells mere miles away. So I ask this one question to the waitress, why? Why ruin the joy of light? Why ruin it?

For something that expensive, there should absolutely be some indication of portion size, or at minimum the waiter should mention it when ordering. Avocado toast also isn't exactly something you can box up and save for later, so a lot of it just went to waste. Honestly, the menu feels arrogantly overpriced, what avocado toast dish is pushing $30? The only thing that seemed reasonably priced was the $35 bottomless brunch. It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder. Wheelchair access details: The bar is on a terrace. The accessible entrance is through the Hoxton hotel. A staff member will take you through the k'far kitchen and up via a service elevator.
