Firstly, the director promised we could get a sibling discount on part-time (4 days per week care). It wasn't until the day I came in to sign enrollment paperwork that we were told by the owner there would be no discount since they were "doing a favor" by providing a 4-day week. It was a sneaky move and I wish I would have pushed back on the greedy owner. There were several policies that were detrimental to the children. Most days when I would pick up by babies they would be crying in their cribs while their teacher cleaned their classroom. When I brought this up, I was told it was the end of her day too and she was required to clean. Children should never be put in cribs to cry while someone uses cleaning products around them! I also saw feeding utensils put in the same bucket as cleaning supplies. Classrooms are consolidated at the end of the day to account for ratios. I noticed that my son was coming home with diaper rash, sometimes so bad it was bleeding. When I asked why they weren't using cream on him, they said it was because his cream was in his other classroom and they weren't allowed to move it with him. To allow a child to cry and bleed without diaper cream just because of policy is terrible. Overall there are plenty of great centers in the area. Spend a little extra money and enroll your children somewhere else.

There is no communication , they do not take accountability and they believe that you do not "need help" in your classroom. The recently hired assistant director came in micromanaging everyone and everything. Being a hard/faithful worker does not matter to them. After working by myself for over almost two months and being the one to do mostly everything in the classroom. I was wrongful let go AFTER I resigned putting in my two weeks notice. Children deserve a safe environment where their parents can leave them. I will miss my little ones so much but I'm glad that I no longer have to be apart of such a toxic environment!

I deeply regret enrolling my four-year-old son in the Cresset preschool as it turned out to be a…read more"nightmare" for him. Unfortunately, some of the classroom teachers lacked the necessary skills to effectively teach the children. My son was greatly anxious when he first enrolled, but his 4-year-old classroom teacher didn't pay attention to his feelings and instead tried to control him, causing him to rebel against her ways. She labeled him as a "problem child" and every day when we picked him up, she would tell us in front of him how problematic his behavior was, which deeply hurt him. She never paid any attention to the good things he did or the efforts he made. After two weeks of suffering, we decided to withdraw our son from the Cresset preschool as we realized it was a bad influence on his development. We were lucky to find a preschool in Durham where our son felt loved and understood. At that school, the teachers were empathetic and provided him with the appropriate amount of care and attention. He now loves his new preschool, and it is in this loving environment that he is growing the most. Enrolling our son in the Cresset preschool was the worst choice but withdrawing him turned out to be the best decision we could have made.

We recently switched directors(new sheriff in town lol) and honestly I have NOTHING bad to say other than our issue with the daycare being short staffed for a short time. Some things are out of our control, and what we can't control, doesn't matter. She was very informative via email to let us know about the teacher/child ratio. She has definitely worked the kinks out, and I'm sure there is more to come, so patience. The director and the teachers are fully involved and really seem to care about the children. They have wonderful programs in addition to the regular preschool activities for both the children and the parents. They stayed open late for a Zumba lesson and party for the kids and they've also done "Parents' Night Out" where they've stayed open late and had a get together for the children so the parents can have some time to themselves. I have been extremely impressed with how committed to the children and their education the teachers and director have been and fully recommend Childcare Network #58.

The curriculum is excellent, the staff works together beautifully and the facilities are always spotless. My girl look forward to school every day and often asked to go to daycare on the weekend too. This place is disorganized, the staff is non chalant, and their prices change based on who's paying. I paid less for 12 hrs then I paid for 8 hrs. I asked the staff 3-4 times is this all of my sons belongings they assured me it was, only to get home and find out his 2 toys he bought along with him were missing, also his shoes were missing. Staff said it fell out his book bag. The staff did not care that I had to fight thru rush hour traffic after working a 16 hr shift just to double back for my son's belongings. Do better, people work too hard to have their belongings go missing. (His mom drops him off and I pick him up, idk what he arrives at the daycare with.)
