Huge plus for me; although the employees wear face masks, they do not require their customers to!!! Called multiple places before hand, and this was the only one I could find within 10 miles that was set up this way; big big plus!! Prices appear at the front desk; also very resonable when you compare them to Sports & Great Clips. My son was also very happy with the results. Husband went for his haircut today and was given a crooked cut. The front was uneven along with the ears, too, and neckline. We had to go somewhere else to get it fixed and then it was so short because it had to be evened out. Two strands of hair never even got cut. Cheap prices, but you get what you pay for. read more

Booked an appointment over the phone and was sent a confirmation by text the day of setting (3/25) and the morning of my appointment (3/26). Went for my appointment and the door was locked. Tried calling 100 times and tried reaching out by facebook messenger to no avail. The lack of professionalism baffles me. If you are unable to hold your appointment then reach out to your customer . Will not be attempting to go back. If this is how they treat their potential clients then I want no part in it. Came in for a edge up and a beard line up worst experience! Person who lined me up has been cutting hair for 9 years ! Also without a barber license ! Not to mention on the beard line up she brought my beard down when I said not to and now one side is higher than the other smh bad business came in for something simple and still managed to mess that up Not to also mention I paid 25$ for a edge up and a line up which cost more than an actual haircut there and I still had to pay after you messed me up ! I have honestly given this place too many chances. I take my 7 year old son and 14 year old brother. Each time I have spoken about something I don't like i get a eyeroll and just plain rudeness thrown back at me. It seemed like the hair stylist was in a hurry because her next appoitment was waiting for her. Didn't feel fair for my son to look crazy just because she was in a hurry. My son and I had our haircut by Lance over 100 times in the past 3 years. He is the professional's professional. Zero issues with the quality of services rendered. Zero. His associate, Angel, filled in and cut our hair once recently. She is as good as Lance on men's specialty haircuts (flat top for me and high and tight zero fade for my son). Again, zero issues. I literally drive past no less than seven barbershops and salons to get to Montgomery Barbershop. And I would gladly drive past seven more to have Lance - the area's premier experienced, skilled, and professional barber - keep our hair looking great. I have tried this barbershop twice. It is a clean, friendly, and unique shop as described in other reviews (Texas decor and free beer). I wasn't totally happy with my first haircut at this shop as the barber cut my hair much shorter than requested. She did not follow my request for a light trim and to keep it full. She didn't, however, totally scalp me so I thought I would try again after 8-weeks. When cut to my liking, I usually return in 3-weeks. Today upon arrival, I was told that the barber that previously cut my hair had moved on so I was assigned to another. I had the same problem this time even after being more careful to explain how I like my hair cut. I don't like it "high and tight" and I don't like it looking like a little boy's haircut. I actually like to leave the shop not looking like I just had a haircut. That has become progressively hard to find in barbershops as it is apparent to me that most of todays barbers are trained to cut hair one way and that is what you are going to get. Take it or leave it. So I'll continue my search for a good barber in the area.I read more
