You are required to use the NHS app to check-in to ensure that contact tracing can occur should a visitor later test positive. We were asked to wait at the benches facing the field with menus in hand. The cows and pasture is gorgeous. The weather is fine as long as the sun pokes out. Nevertheless we waited for a while as this is Spring break and many families are out here enjoying the views. We noticed that groups that came after us had been called and that the hostess who took down our information had gone on break. Sure enough, there was no record of us on the list after I inquired. The staff apologized for the poor communication among their colleagues and made sure to seat us at the next available. The server again apologized and took our order right away, including our dessert which was placed on hold until we were ready. The tables are cleaned immediately after guests leave. There are heaters placed strategically around the dining area however only the center one is lit. Thankfully we lucked out and sat by the heat lamp that was lit. The food came out reasonably fast. We could hear the cook shouting orders at the staff and it seemed like a well run cafe minus the hostess snafu. Our food was fresh and good tasting. The dessert was also fresh and delicious. Overall this place did well considering the disorganized start. It was true to the quality we have become accustomed to when visiting here.

We arrived in the morning on a lovely sunny day and were happy that the Car Park wasn't too busy. We paid our entry and engaged with a friendly lad who walked me through some things to do with the kids. Entry fee wasn't outrageous in my opinion and the kids loved interacting with the animals and the various activities to eat up a couple of hours on a Summer Day. Lots to see and the Ice Cream was incredible. All of my family commented on how fresh it was and said it was some of the best Ice Cream they have ever had ( and these kids are Ice Cream Connoisseurs ) Is it Alton Towers ??? No, but do you have to refinance your home to bring a Family of four to have fun ....no ? Bluebell Dairy is a reasonable place to hang out for an entire Family. Recommended

A generous sized car park and a stunning view makes for a good first impression. The farm shop itself has an impressive range of goods. Cards, pasta, local beers, homemade bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, and frozen goods, are just a few of the delights on offer, a little pricey though. There is also an extensive meat and dairy section too. The farm shop also has a very popular cafe, with a outside decking area that makes the most of the south-facing aspect and wonderful view. Food wise, tempting homemade cakes, bacon sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup etc, all fresh and generously portioned. Drinks wise a good range of hot and cold beverages, their coffee is particularly good. Nice to be able to see what's happening in the kitchen too, a hive of activity!

We had a little Christmas shop in the gift area and I was so impressed with the adorable collection of gifts and food goods that this place has to offer. Perfect for those last minute extra presents for loved ones. It also offers lots of local produce from the farm itself, which is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the pies and the local Staffordshire beer that they have, as my dad says they're some of the best he's tried. The cafe is in keeping with the theme of the farrow and ball/ country chic, with solid oak tables and chairs and leather sofas around a log burning fire to enjoy cakes and coffees. If I were a mean spirited critic I'd comment on the coffee, but as its Christmas we'll move on. If you are ever around the area (Alton towers) and you want to enjoy locally sourced and fabulous food in a charming and endearing farm cafe, then this is definitely the place to visit.
