Our toddler started at the school in August 2025 and he has LOVED it. Not only has he been safe, nurtured, and loved - he has also learned and developed a great deal and has made many new friends. His ability to maintain concentration, complete tasks independently, and verbalize thoughts and emotions has grown leaps and bounds. Indeed, Foothill Montessori is not just a daycare for toddlers and infants - the curriculum and staff provide schooling and learning just like they do for any other age group. I can't say enough good things about my son's Teachers (called "Guides"). Their respect for each child and their ability to teach and manage toddlers - all while maintaining utmost safety within the classroom - is second to none! The curriculum also includes a fantastic music program (which our little guy adores), as well as specific emotional / social development teaching by a dedicated (and amazing) staff-person. Not only have the education and experiences been great for our little guy, but the setting itself is nothing short of pristine. Most other schools (and especially daycares) are slightly dingy and also noisy. Not Foothill Montessori. The building is beautiful, light-filled, and extremely well-maintained. And it's shockingly quiet when you walk the halls. The Teachers / Guides are clearly super-engaged and cultivating an environment that keeps the youngsters' attentions. Most important, the entire staff knows and cares for each and every child. The leadership team and front-office staff seem to know everyone's name. I've observed them greeting by name every single parent and child who enters the school - from infants all the way up to 6th graders. I love dropping our son off to school, as I've come to consider the staff as good friends. And we've also been able to connect with fellow parents and enjoy playdates with other children. In addition to our toddler, we will be enrolling our infant daughter in a few months. All this to say -- I can't recommend Foothill Montessori enough and would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I will also note that the school advertises low student to teacher ratios, however, the majority of staff members working in the classrooms work as aides and do not hold degrees. I highly recommend against Dancing Moose for an elementary-age student.

Very limited programs, mediocre academics (but very easy grading (probably to keep up the appearance of what they claim) very stifling/judgmental environment and one of the least Christian behaving communities we've seen. So much bullying among both staff and students and so many kids struggling with their mental health, due in part to the uncaring staff and student body. There is no college counselor (as of our departure) , no properly credentialed school counselor (as of our departure) , no math or reading specialist, no leveled instruction, no music program or instructors, very few elective or Honors/concurrent offerings. Many of the teachers are parents who , likely in order to keep their tuition benefit , flood rating sites to mask the poor reviews over the past several years. We were mislead to believe that there was so much to offer here, but our time here proved otherwise.

After pre-school her reading was impressive but one month into Kindergarten it has taken off! They do a lot of learning through songs and it's fun listening to our daughter sing some of them when she's playing in her room or just doing her own thing. The teachers have all been there a long time and are very good at their jobs. She has made a lot of friends and even though some of her pre-school pals didn't return for Kindergarten we've stayed in touch with them and the parents have been good to get to know as well. Others have made assertions about the security. As a parent with a child enrolled I will say that security at the campus is fine. Only an idiot would publish their security details online but having had my child there for going on two full years I am happy with what they do. Also the police station is literally across the street. Not near by, across the street.

They don't even have a cafeteria for the kids to eat in instead they have to eat inside a filthy classroom. If you order a school lunch they give you frozen cold lunch one time they gave my kid had moldy cheese pizza, so I would recommend bringing home lunch. They also have a very strict uniform policy which sucks!!! The school only lets you have 10 absence and your kid have to make up all the homework from the days they were absent and usually the homework takes a hour or more to do. One time they let a kidnapper in the school without even noticing!!! So the kids saw the police coming in to look for the kidnapper, the worst part is they didn't even have a lock down!! So this school is not safe at all! We probably won't be coming back!
