There was serious grant money given to this place, because it is beautiful. There is a super meeting room, lots of computers, a teen area, a massive children's room (and it's away from the rest of the library so kids can be loud here and not bother anyone). This place has won many awards for its outstanding service and resources and very deserving. Came here to see an author speak about Everett Ruess and the library has partnered with the bookstore in Moab. What a great idea! This place is hopping and has it together. Worth your time to stop here.

I had a solar panel and 4G wifi hotspot with me, but some friends suggested that I check out the library. Wow, what an amazing library! The staff were super helpful and I could tell I wasn't the only visitor poaching the power and wifi. They have desktop computers that you can use if you don't have your own and low cost printing resources. The space is modern and spacious, and they stock Accidents in North American Mountaineering for when you need a work break. I left them a $25 donation, and I encourage you to leave at least a few dollars to keep this place open.

The thing was, it was a smaller library and books were everywhere, and I was searching for a place to sit. Also, I'd visited the library a few times before and multiple employees (different people than this time) didn't say anything. I mentioned my backpack had my laptop inside, to the employee who approached me, and the response was no response/nonchalant. Maybe book thefts recently became an issue, but I didn't feel welcomed.

What a gem. The library is a welcome destination in a very small town with not much to do for a…read moretourist. Alongside the entrance is a bulletin board with town events. Once inside, you face the front desk with always friendly staff. The interior has a cozy, corner reading area, adjacent to the magazines. We're talking upholstered chairs and a fireplace. The other corner has tables for people to get some work done on their own or library computers. Children are welcome, which can be good or bad. Why is it parents allow them to chat in loud, distracting voices? Have the unwritten rules of library etiquette been tossed? A huge plus is the free and speedy wi-fi . In fact, every night after closing, people, including me, parked outside to check their email and whatever.
