We told him that we wanted a photographer who more or less stayed behind the scenes and let things go with the flow, rather than one who was distracting with too many planned shots. He did exactly that on our wedding day! He was funny and calmed our nerves before the ceremony. Turns out that he also moonlighted at our reception venue and knew all the staff! The price is on the high side, but he has a lot of experience in the biz. The shots that we got back were beautiful. Everyone kept on commenting on what great photos they were!
