Stacy was recommended to us by a neighbor who knew she did wedding photography and I had not seen her work before but since we desperately wanted someone to photograph our wedding and she was willing to come, wear a mask and maintain a distance so we hired her. OH MY GOD WE ARE SO LUCKY. THESE PICTURES BELONG IN A MAGAZINE. I am not just saying this, she is so good. When we finally received our images after our wedding, it was almost twice as long as the signed contract promised. The contract specifically stated: "Images to be prepared and preserved within 4-6 weeks of event date. Printed items and albums may require additional time." We received the images almost 10 weeks after our wedding. Not to mention, the only communication or updates I received was after I had to reach out to Sara first for an update. Definitely not how I thought I'd be treated after spending a few thousand dollars to her business. After sending us the images, Sara did apologize for the inconvenience by promising to send us a complimentary album. That was over 13 weeks ago and I have yet to receive anything. Plus, I've followed up with her asking for an update on this and have yet to hear anything at all back from Sara. If you're a bride who is anxious to see your (as you rightfully should be) and expect to work with photographers who communicate with you and deliver on what was promised, then I would not recommend MonWood Photography.
