In Australia, I definitely needed to try a kangaroo burger. We chose this place as it seemed to be the cheapest for kangaroo burgers ($15), other restaurants charged around $25. The mayo on the burger tasted great, and it was the perfect size! We also ordered a basket of fries and sweet potato fries, since the burgers don't come with any sides. If you're not into kangaroo meat or are vegan, they have many options for you too! Not to mention most meats are locally sourced. As it's situated at bondi beach, I definitely recommend coming here after doing the 2 hour Coogee to Bondi beach walk. Scarfing down a burger after a long walk is the perfect way to reward yourself!!

Seeing how Bondi Beach attracts a young, hip crowd with mostly nice bodies, it is a little ironic that there is a burger place lying in between all these healthy smoothie places and whatnot. Regardless of being trampled by a wave of tight abs and toned bodies or not, I definitely felt like a cow and mooed my way around, but Moo Burgers was on my to-do list in Sydney and no amount of 6-pack or 8-pack abs was going to get in my way of my bucket list. I'm still trying to get used to the whole order-at-counter deal with most of these eateries and cafes in Australia. It avoids problems, I guess. I had the Wagyu Beef Burger with a side of fries. I wasn't blown away by the Wagyu Burger; it felt like just a regular beef burger, but the fries were more memorable--hot, crispy, and fresh, like the potatoes were just sliced minutes ago. Though a bit pricey (especially for a burger), one thing for sure about Moo Burgers is that it's a no-frills place. It's really an in-and-out kind of place, where you can grab a quick, casual bite and go. Plus, the seats are very comfortable! I wanted to try the Wagyu Beef burger and I did just that, but I feel like their speciality burgers make this place special. Okay food, but I suggest checking out the speciality burgers menu first.

Both our burgers were cooked well done which is not what we prefer. The taste was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. I got the classic cheese with bacon and my wife got the classic with avocado. The fries were pretty tasty as they were quite crispy. Ambience was cool since you can sit inside or outside and overlook Bondi Beach. It has a small cafe or beach burger place vibe to it. Super casual and staff is very friendly.

I was pretty hungry and couldn't wait to try a 100% Australian Angus beef patty! After you order and pay at the counter, just grab a seat. There is water in the back and some crayons if you want to draw a cow and add it to their collection. I missed eating bacon, so I shared the beef avocado and bacon burger with my sister. It was pretty huge. We also had a side of sweet potato chips, which were more like thick-cut fries. They were a little burnt, but still delicious. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. I want to try their shakes next time!

I was underwhelmed. Sure it's got a great view but you need more than a great view to draw me back. The burger was nice enough, it wasn't anything to write home about though and maybe I'm now a burger snob but after paying the price you do for your burger I was expecting a bit more. Disappointing really. Plus there's no chips with your $17 burger!! What the hell is with that?

Good burgers. I had the bacon avocado burger - $16.50 - and it was pretty delicious. The chips are good and crispy. They have high chairs for infants. They have crayons for kiddies. The view is pretty good. Don't use their take away service - I tried it once and it was a debacle as they only have one phone line! Other than that they must be amongst the best burgers in Bondi!

You better be MOOOOOO-ving ova here cuz this place is just Deee-lish! I've been craving some juicy red meat especially a burger for ages, and a burger was definitely what I needed. I ordered the Wagyu beef burger as I've always heard it to be the 'best' type of red meat. The portion size is absolutely humongous but absolutely delicious. The only reason why i deduct one star was that even though I asked for medium rare, my meat was kind of dry on the inside and was cooked well done. The service was quite slow, so I didn't bother asking for them to recook it. The location is a little off the beaten path in relation to Bondi Beach as you have to go up a hill for like 7 minutes and the cow-decorated sign instantly grabs your attention. The restaurant is a great little place that has a lot of character where they have numerous drawings by children to adults -- it really gives a great vibe to the place!

You've got to love a burger joint that decides to all itself MOO. That's respecting your produce! And Moo has definitely got the goods: a menu of 20 mouthwatering burgers, a Bondi beachside location AND it's BYO! Burgers just get that much better when enjoyed with a glass of wine, don't you think? And the price is just right: a Classic Beef Burger clocks in at $10.50, up to the Wagyu burger at $16.50. But if you really want to put your money where your mouth is, the double decker Deluxe Moo (Two 100% Northern Tablelands Wagyu beef patties, cheddar cheese, thick cut mozzarella, free range bacon, free range egg, grilled onions, pineapple, beetroot, tomato, mixed leaf lettuce, home-made mayonnaise & tomato relish) commands a sizeable $29 fee. But while I have yet to be that hungry, you can count on the fact that my next visit to Bondi Beach will be coupled with a Moo!

Best veggie lentil burger I've ever had, by far. The chips or fries are really amazing as well. Definitely want to come back. The staff isn't that helpful or friendly. But the food was so good! I need to try the snickers shake! I regret not getting it.

The casual, beachside atmosphere at Moo Gourmet Burger is picturesque. You order at the counter when ready and sit at any of the open tables--staring out into Bondi while eating is just so relaxing. But the burgers themselves? I've definitely had better. The kangaroo burger, which is just too unusual to not order, comes with beetroot and rocket, but the patty itself was rather crumbly, dry, and flavorless. The multigrain bun was also difficult to eat, as it was disappointingly dry and thick. I also tried the sweetpea burger, a vegan patty made of sweet potato, chickpea, and coconut, and it came with lettuce, tomato, hummus, and chili jam. This patty was also quite crumbly and dry, and the sourdough bun it came on was again too thick and flavorless. The saving grace was the chili jam, which added a nice sweet zing to the sandwich. Overall, however, the prices here are definitely not worth the quality of food you get.

Yay for my gluten-free friends, Moo does awesome glute-friendly burgers! They have the biggest gourmet burger selection I thnk I've ever seen, with around 20 burgers on the menu - three of which are vegetarian. My lentil and walnut burger was transcendental! Everything about it was perfect except that my stupid stomach wasn't big enough to eat more. (My fault because I couldn't resist pigging out on the hand cut chips on the side) Moo are proud supporters of The Starlight Foundation and there are cute kids' pencil drawings all around the walls, as well as pics of diners on the pylons. With a liquor license and views over Bondi, this would be a great place to have a low-key birthday dinner.

Every year for the past 15 years I have had a burger and wine for my birthday. There was the Burger Bar in Las Vegas (I would tell you more about it but you know what they say... what happens in Vegas), Kua'aina in Honolulu (a Hawaiian sunset was threw in for free) and last year at the J lounge in downtown L.A. (coupled together with these delicious truffle fries). This year we were not going to break tradition so our good friend scouted and found that Moos was highly recommended and they had their own wine and BYO. One look at the menu and it was decided. It was a Monday night so there was plenty of parking on the street in front. Our group was seated quickly in the booth surrounded by drawings done little moos. To start we ordered fries and onion rings for us to share and the waitress opened the wine. i ordered a beef and avocado burger and added an egg on top (mmmm good). In the group there was a couple classic cheeseburgers ( add onions and avocado), a waygu burger, a chorizo burger and a pair of classic chicken burgers. The burgers were tasty, not over cooked, the buns were soft, the condiments were fresh and 30 minutes later we were stuffed. Thank you to my beautiful partner, family and friends for a wonderful birthday dinner. Another year another burger (washed down with a perfectly paired Shiraz). Happy delicious birthday to me.

My top recommendations are definitely the pho (beef noodle soup with fresh herbs), whole deep fried fish with fish sauce, lemongrass, lemon and chili sauce, the fresh pork & prawn rolls and the chicken salad. But that's because we use it as our 'guilt-free' healthy dinner option (maybe except for the whole, fried fish, though it's surprisingly non-greasy). But the caramelised fish and the hot pots are lovely as well. BYO and take away are an added bonus. Try it and it'll become a staple!
