Enjoyed eating their delicious gourmet burger while enjoying the views of Bondi beach. We decided to try this place out because my boyfriend wanted to try Kangaroo meat while visiting Australia. Kangaroo was on their menu and that's what caught our eye on this place. PARKING: There's parking at Bondi beach, so if you park there, you can cross the street to this place. Otherwise there may be some street parking. I did not observe any designated lot for his restaurant. SERVICE: The lady at the counter was nice. Not sure if my American accent made it difficult for her to comprehend some of the questions I asked her, but she was still nice and courteous towards us. Basically everything I asked her, her reply was, "yes it is good." PRICE: So their burgers were a little pricey... about $15 - $20 for a burger, however, the quality was great and their buns are Gluten Free!! Totally worth the price. The burgers did not come with sides so you do pay extra for fries. FOOD: My boyfriend ate the Kangaroo burger which he enjoyed. He had no complaints at all. I had their Black and White Burger which was their beef burger. It was a bit messy to eat so towards the end I had to use a knife and fork to finish it. The egg and tomato relish just got deliciously messy. ATMOSPHERE: It's a nice casual spot to enjoy a burger. Walk in, order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I was super happy to find tons of gluten free options on their list including gluten free buns. I went with the duck burger which was amazing. In Australia, I definitely needed to try a kangaroo burger. We chose this place as it seemed to be the cheapest for kangaroo burgers ($15), other restaurants charged around $25. The mayo on the burger tasted great, and it was the perfect size! We also ordered a basket of fries and sweet potato fries, since the burgers don't come with any sides. If you're not into kangaroo meat or are vegan, they have many options for you too! Not to mention most meats are locally sourced. Seeing how Bondi Beach attracts a young, hip crowd with mostly nice bodies, it is a little ironic that there is a burger place lying in between all these healthy smoothie places and whatnot. I was pretty hungry and couldn't wait to try a 100% Australian Angus beef patty! After you order and pay at the counter, just grab a seat. There is water in the back and some crayons if you want to draw a cow and add it to their collection. I missed eating bacon, so I shared the beef avocado and bacon burger with my sister. The kangaroo burger, which is just too unusual to not order, comes with beetroot and rocket, but the patty itself was rather crumbly, dry, and flavorless. The multigrain bun was also difficult to eat, as it was disappointingly dry and thick. I also tried the sweetpea burger, a vegan patty made of sweet potato, chickpea, and coconut, and it came with lettuce, tomato, hummus, and chili jam. This patty was also quite crumbly and dry, and the sourdough bun it came on was again too thick and flavorless. The saving grace was the chili jam, which added a nice sweet zing to the sandwich. Yay for my gluten-free friends, Moo does awesome glute-friendly burgers! They have the biggest gourmet burger selection I thnk I've ever seen, with around 20 burgers on the menu - three of which are vegetarian. My lentil and walnut burger was transcendental! Everything about it was perfect except that my stupid stomach wasn't big enough to eat more. (My fault because I couldn't resist pigging out on the hand cut chips on the side) Moo are proud supporters of The Starlight Foundation and there are cute kids' pencil drawings all around the walls, as well as pics of diners on the pylons. Every year for the past 15 years I have had a burger and wine for my birthday. There was the Burger Bar in Las Vegas (I would tell you more about it but you know what they say... what happens in Vegas), Kua'aina in Honolulu (a Hawaiian sunset was threw in for free) and last year at the J lounge in downtown L.A. In the group there was a couple classic cheeseburgers ( add onions and avocado), a waygu burger, a chorizo burger and a pair of classic chicken burgers. The burgers were tasty, not over cooked, the buns were soft, the condiments were fresh and 30 minutes later we were stuffed. We ordered the Wagyu burger ($16.50 with no sides), a basket of fries ($7.50 - a side of fries is a mere $4.50) and a can of fanta ($3.50). The burger and fries were delivered 10-15 minutes after ordering. Fries were cooked nicely and delicious. If dining with a two, I would suggest ordering one basket of fries and splitting as it was large. While the burger itself was good, you cannot helped to feel underwhelmed and cheated by the $28.50 burger/fries/fanta meal you just purchased. Your small wagyu patty is swallowed by a roll large enough to feed several homeless shelters and a stack of condiments sandwiched between. From the food to the interior decor, Moo's is the place to go to enjoy burgers whilst indulging in the amazing ambience of Bondi Beach! I highly recommend having hot chips as your sides with your burger as well as sipping on their chocolate milkshake (milkshakes is a must have here - it is beautifully refreshing after gulping chunks of burgers and fries!)
