Bring back the kimchi burger! *waves placard* It was the crown jewel on the menu, the best thing since sliced cabbage. I mean, if you twisted my arm I'd admit that the Double Burger is also the cat's meow, but man, that kimchi burger got me right where my heart should be. Last time I went I walked out and saw a guy getting one of those burger bowls with three patties inside a bowl of lettuce leaves. Kinda defeats the purpose but hey, maybe he's gluten free or some bread slept with his girlfriend or something.

For me, it was the bugger project. Let me explain, firstly there was a bug was on the bread and just I had the urge to bugger off during the tasting. I have never been to Neil Perry's restaurants so I did not have any expectations. The place is bland, no concept, no branding whilst I know the meals have to be prepared in a Maccas style in a chain, I did not want to see the kitchen. It does not add any value for me. Ordering is exactly like Maccas and the speed is alright. The result is burgers that look assembled in a hurry but how about the taste? SPICY PORK BELLY $9.90 (Crispy free range pork belly, salted chilli, pickles, pickled slaw, and lettuce) The burger is a bunch of sliced roasted pork belly with the crackling with salad and spicy pickled slaw. The pork was tough and crackling was not crispy enough. The worst part is that the salad has too much vinegar plus more acidity coming from the pickles made it very unpleasant. What is better than this? Breadtop bun + Roast pork from Chinese BBQ + lettuce + plum sauce. CHEESE & BACON $9.50 (Grass fed beef, bacon, cheese, onion, pickles, tomato, lettuce and secret sauce) Bug on the bun...the end. No picked it out and soldiered on. I think the bug distraction did not influence my tasting. Even with the bug, this burger is much better than the pork. There are some issues with the burger, bread is not right and bacon is too tough: either make is soft and tender or crispy...not inbetween now it tasted like dried meat. Beef patty was good, at least that was alright. HOUSE MADE CHIPS $4.90 (Thrice cooked) The chips served were completely dry, crispy yes but with no actual smooth potato consistency left. Fried to shit basically. 3 times cooked chips is a well known technique, but shouldn't that be used on thicker chips?. Cooking thin chips like these cooked 1, 2 or 3 makes no difference just leave them in the oil for 30 minutes or until burned... if crispy is the only criteria for your chips, you will like these. REAL SHAKES CHOCOLATE $6.50 Good milkshake enjoyed it more than the meal. Served with the whipped foam, it's of a light consistency. Conclusion After this meal, I was so underwhelmed that I had to go to Grill'd downstairs just to get a satisfying meal. The pork belly burger was terrible and the cheese and bacon was sub-standard with many issues in a simple burger. Quite simply there was no care in assembling the burgers. Happy I did not queue up for this a month ago, I would probably rate it even lower. It should have stayed a project, on paper that is. @thesydneynoob

With some fellow Yelpers and friends, we converged on this place one Tuesday night and it was an enjoyable meal. The burger was great and it was a general consensus amongst all the burgers were good. Opinions were divided about the triple cooked fries which were crunchy but probably on the oily side. I also got myself a strawberry thickshake which was pretty good and refreshing. The one downside of this burger joint is the price, I paid almost $20 for my meal which is quite high for what is essentially fast food.

So in that i work so closely with Qantas and fly them frequently, Neil Perry (of both Rockpool Bar & Grill and television fame) is a name that's familiar to me given it's on more or less every single Qantas in flight menu. That being the case, I was keen to try out his literal Burger Project, and I'm certainly glad I did. As a disclaimer, I've spent the last three years living in the Burger Mecca that is Dallas, Texas, so I'm picky when it comes to burgers, but Neil's products here are at least in the same general league as some of the up and coming popular chains back in the states (Larkburger, The Counter, etc.). Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? If I didn't know better I'd swear that Neil took his inspiration for the decor at Burger Project from global burger powerhouse Shake Shack (which, in full disclosure, is my favorite chain burger - period). From the sort of green theme to the positioning of the menu and folks behind the counter I felt transported back stateside, but the system was as efficient as it was friendly, so well done to Mr. Perry there. Abundant and well lit seating for all party types topped everything off nicely, and I was surprised at how quickly my Cheeseburger arrived. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $9.90 AUD ($7.00 USD) got me a decent sized Cheeseburger, and as you can probably even tell by the picture below these were some fresh ingredients and a great ratio of patty to bun to toppings. More specialty burgers obviously bumped the prices a bit up to I believe $13.00+, but either way these were affordable prices. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a good burger make no mistake. The patty had flavor of its own and came together nicely with the fresh lettuce, the cheese, and what were excellent onions on a fluffy and well sized buns. As others have stated, the whole thing was a bit salty, but I'm of the strong opinion that that's what makes Shake Shack burgers so great. The one other notable downside here was the "special" sauce, which I honestly just wasn't keen on. I get it that once In n' Out came in with their thousand islands that every burger joint feels the need to dish up their own special topping, but it tasted a bit like an odd blend of ketchup and sweet and sour sauce. I just wasn't a fan. Either way, this was a very good and fresh burger, and I wouldn't be surprised if I came back here in the next few days to sample another offering. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Honestly? Yes, although it's close given that Grill'd, which is one of my favorite Aussie chains period is literally downstairs in this case. I'll pay Grill'd a visit and see if I feel the same way afterwards. For now though, Star Granted.

From the outset it was clear we would need a posse for this project. Crafty "on the draw" Cyn and myself, Dangerous Dan aka The Sirloin Sniper, collected the baddest burger bandits this side o' the black stump. With our magnificent seven in tow, we rained down on Neil Perry and his minions like a cavalcade of carnivores. I watched as Cyn made short work of Beef, Bacon and Cheese. They never stood a chance. I took Sir Oinks-a-lot, that spicy son of a sow, to market till he went squealing all the way home. The rest of the crew performed admirably mopping up the rest. Poor Fries got a workout, that hapless sack of potatoes was ruffed up by everyone. There was also an appearance by the infamous Shake, who is rarely seen around these parts, but he was dispatched just as swiftly. If you are gonna take on the project be sure to pony up with your meanest for a meat massacre, cos this place is so good it hurts!

Rarely is a meal so good that you are happy to eat with sloppy abandon in the presence of people you have just met, one of whom happens to be a client of your job (Hi Ken!). Burger Project is that good. It is kind of a fancy version of a fast food restaurant but there is nothing virtuous about this place (unless you go in for all that grain-fed, housemade, organic truck). Delicious burgers, massive shakes, beer, and not once, not twice but thrice fried chips. The burger variety is intimidating to say the least. I had a simple cheese and bacon. I'll work my way up to the more exotic fare. Considering what you're getting (and considering the price of Maccas these days) this place is surprisingly cheap. $7.90 for a Rockpool-esque experience? Do it.

Burgers are definitely in the top 5 of my favourite foods and while I've had some great burgers, nothing I've had so far compares to Burger Project. I found out afterwards that it was masterminded by Neil Perry, who is famous for his Rockpool Bar & Grill burger. I only spent 4 short days in Sydney and had so many great dining experiences but this is probably the stand out. I loved the burgers so much that I went for dinner one night and came back for an early lunch the next day...and ordered the same burger twice! The first time I didn't know what to order (happens alot) but then my eyes drifted towards 'The Bacon Project'. Grass fed beef, LOADS of bacon :D, cheese, pickles and secret sauce. I was hoping it would be indulgent and it definitely delivered on that front. Loads of bacon, and I really mean it; they piled on so much bacon that it was almost the dominant flavour. I don't know who supplies their bacon, but for a burger joint it absolutely exceeded expectations. So smoky, not too salty which was good because there was so much of it. It was also 100% bacon strips or streaky bacon, rather than back bacon, the one that that gets really tough when cooked. The bacon was really that good, but the rest of the burger was amazing too. The beef is another standout. Apparently it's a 36 month chuck and brisket blend. At first I was really confused, because I thought the meat was aged for 36 months.....which would probably be gross and inedible but it's actually the cow that's 36 months old. It's normally cooked to medium but my came out a bit under that, pretty much a medium rare. I decided to keep it, as I've never had a medium rare burger. I'm glad I did because it was absolute heaven. There was no mushiness at all which was surprising but at the same time there was a nice char on the exterior. In terms of flavour, the beef stood up to the bacon in that it wasn't overwhelmed. The rest of the burger was top notch. The bun of course was a marshmallowy soft brioche that didn't turn to mush despite the amount of bacon grease and juices. The pickles are house made and there was a decent amount of it, but I would have preferred a bit more due to the richness of the whole thing. I can't really remember the secret sauce because of the cheese and bacon but it was there. One minor con I found was that it came with a loose paper wrapping which quickly got soaked so it was messy right from the get go. I'm also a bit fussy sometimes and prefer a plate and knife as I prefer eating my burger by halves. The second time we ordered some chicken wings to try, despite not ordering the first time. because it was $3.90 for 1 wing...and 3 for $9.90. But I'm happy to say it's well worth the money because it comes with the whole wing so it's the drum+ the flat and they include the wingtip on. The one with the Sichuan Peppercorn was an absolute winner! It's a kinda fruity pepper, hard for me to describe from memory but my god, it's such a unique and creative take on the humble chicken wing! The hot sauce wing is more standard fare, hot sauce with butter lathered of the wing. Good, but not quite as special. I'm so jealous of Sydney residents, they have 2 Burger Projects! The quality of the ingredients are next level but they keep their prices fair, with burgers ranging from $8.90- $13.90. The wings are a bit pricey but so worth it. They also do Ice-cream desserts which I didn't try (strawberry and blueberry pie sounds good). It was jam packed with diners both times I went and they really deserve the success, as it's the best burger I've had. Sorry for the rant once again, but it's as if they put crack in the food. 6/5 if I could give that!

Love the concept of this burger joint by Neil Perry, however the food was only slightly above average and there was quite a long wait for our two burgers and fries. Got the classic burger for $8.90 which tasted fine but not sure if it was worth the money, chilli chips were oily but delicious! A bit disappointed that you had to pay a dollar extra just to get cheese on your burger though... Overall, a great 'healthy' burger joint concept. Would come back for the friendly weeknight atmosphere but look elsewhere for Sydney's best burgers.

I don't understand the hater reviews recently posted - people who write stuff like that lose all food credibility. Burger Project is hands down one of the best, if not THE best, burger joints in Sydney. It has the beef patty by far. You just can't beat that medium-cooked grass fed beef! Bun is soft but not too greasy. House make pickles are AWESOME. The price is considerably cheaper than most burger places these days and the size is reasonable. If it's not big enough for you then stop complaining; order a double patty and fries. That's why they're on the menu. My go-to is the cheese burger but I have also tried the portobello mushroom burger and must say that although nothing can replace my love for beef, it is a GREAT alternative for vegetarians. Well done on that. Another thing I love about the burger is that not only is it delicious, but you don't feel super gross afterward. It hits the spot and you feel great. I really like the ambiance as well. Yes, it's casual and may look like a fast food joint as people have mentioned, but it's kept very clean and it has character. No cons whatsoever. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

We heard about the Burger Project from a well-traveled foodie friend. According to his friend, this burger joint is considered the next Shake Shack of Sydney. Yep, it's all hearsay and I'm not even sure if there's such a saying... All I was able to find out was that this place is by the chef hatted Neil Perry of Rockpool. Woo. My conclusion is that Grill'd downstairs does not have to worry about this competitor because they actually offer very different types of burgers. Grill'd is where you can find the full-on full-sized burgers that's perfect for a hungry man; whereas Burger Project is where you would find snack-size "elegant" burgers that would be more suitable for supper after a night out (if only they open till later into the night).

We were looking for a burger place to eat and one of the locals recommended this place. We were disappointed, they don't got nothing on Five Guys! Sorry maybe I need to stop comparing, but when you find a good burger and fries stick to it. Too bad no Five Guys in Sydney, they don't know what they missing. I got the Outback Burger which was small and flavorless, my Hubby got the Deluxe Burger it had a big beet on it, I've never seen that before, that was different. He wasn't impressed with his either. We also got Fries(Chips) is what they call them with a Soda. The Burgers are ridiculously overpriced we paid $39 for Burgers that weren't fulfilling. And they surcharge you $1 for using your Credit Card, because they don't accept American Cash, seriously who turns down American Cash? read more
Burger project? More like burger perfect! If you're a fan of the Rockpool bar and grill wagyu burger, you will love Neil Perry's new burger joint. A order/pick up at the counter style restaurant with a small selection of burgers, sides, shakes and beer. There's a decent line up as you would expect with the hype but they've got a good system going pumping them burgers out fast! The patties aren't wagyu, but it doesn't need to be because the grass fed beef patties are cooked to perfection, topped with melted cheese, pickles, minimal veggies between 2 buttery, sugary buns. Absolutely delicious. This is the closest you'll get to Shake Shack in Australia. Neil Perry of Rockpool fame has opened up a burger joint, aptly named Burger Project. Here you can order all sorts of burgers from the original, to a cheeseburger, to a double, to a pork belly burger, to a chicken burger, to a mushroom burger, to a Korean burger and so forth. They also serve fries, hot dogs, fried chicken, and several desserts to go with their shakes. Pure awesome. The beef is grass fed, and you can get a burger for less than $10. Did I mention this beef is grass fed? Today was the opening day, and it was pretty much packed and sold out by 1:30pm. Our order was late and in disarray, but I gave them a pass for that since it's the first day and they need to work kinks out considering the very high demand. I got the double with bacon ($13.90) and a piece of fried chicken ($3.50 for 1 or 3 for $9.) Smashing. Don't expect the burger you'd get at Rockpool though, because it totally isn't that. But seriously come here, arguably the best burger in Sydney along with Mary's. read more

I loved this place when it first opened, but in the last 18 months or so the quality has really slipped. Since the expansion to other locations, you can no longer depend on the burgers coming out cooked the same, consistent way they were when Neil himself was still supervising the kitchen staff closely. The restaurant itself does not look quite as clean and sparkling as it once was. No longer in my list of top burgers in Sydney. Sorry, Neil. read more
Ah burgers how I love thy. Burger project is guaranteed to satisfy your burger hangry craves! With a simple but tasty menu with limited choice of around 4ish burgers and a selection of chicken wings and other sides. If you haven't tried this place before.. please do and don't skimp out and go the double burger and a chocolate thick shake. Never tried those together? Do it!!! So good. On one of many occasions I have been here my patty was raw but hey it happens I got an apology and another burger. Sorted. It's not cheap by no means, expect to spend no less that $20 for one person to leave satisfied. Pay at the counter take a buzzer then collect your food when the buzzer goes off! Take in every bite of the juicy awesomeness. Then get some beers at the Bavarian across the way. read more

The burgers are good but not the best, it could be because I came here with very high expectations. The wings and chips were very disappointing. read more
My choice for the best beef burger in Sydders. Why? For starters, the beef is a courser grind, it feels less tampered with, and not to mention is a pleasure to eat! Tastes like pure quality beef; no filler or flours. They also grill the patties so that they're still pink in the middle. Why was I eating burgers well-done before?? It's an indulge-yourself burger, but it wont leave you feeling sickly after (unless you get the double perhaps). I also love Burger Project for their Aussie burger (beetroot fan), the bunless alternative (it could almost be healthy!) and the chilli salt on the chips is oh so tasty. read more

First Takeaway experience here suggests this neighbour is cheaper and better than Grill'd. Waited a short time which was more than acceptable given how busy they were and the result being a freshly cooked well presented meal. Nothing could have been done to expedite the process, plenty of staff all working cohesively and the result showed it. Walked through all the crowd on Lunar New Year parade festivities and still got to eat a delicious Cheese n Bacon burger with thrice cooked fries. Modern, minimalist interior and comfortable ambience, when added to the ability to grab a beer or two and eat out front brings a high recommendation. Will be back! read more
Hmm yeah i mean you want a burger and youre around the area. Based on price and quality am i gonna eat here? Meh. I mean what you get is some high quality aussie meats and burgers but do you really want to pay 20 bucks for a full meal? I mean is it shackshake? Marys burgers imho are a lot tastier with the chippies. read more

Price is affordable and portions as well. They offer craft beer, wines and non alcoholic beverages to be served upon ordering or as you receive your food. They offer a burger In a bowl which features no bread and extra lettuce as well as with cutlery. The environment was welcoming, it had plenty of seating, open layout, large windows with natural lighting and free WiFi while you dine. Clean dinning as well as friendly staff. Burger was cooked perfectly, a perfect in fact I started eating before remembering to take a photo! read more

This place has been bookmarked for so long in my Yelp and I'm so happy I finally got to try this place out! After reading so many great reviews, I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I went here on a Tuesday night. It wasn't busy at all. The service was friendly and quick. I think we only waited around 5-10 minutes for our food! This burger was everything I wanted and more. I wouldn't say this is a greasy-I-hate-myself-now-for-eating-this burger, but it's not a fancy, gourmet burger either. If I had to describe it it's like a 5 star McDonalds burger, the rolls royce of McDonalds. We both ordered the double and it was so good. The meat was cooked well, just a hint of pink and that orange cheese..... *drool*. The special sauce was something else. We both got the fries and lemonades. I loved the fries because I generally love fried-to-oblivion food, but my boyfriend did not. He prefers thick cut chips. I also ordered the chocolate shake to try and I did not like it. It's incredibly rich and probably a bit too much with the burger and fries (for me, anyway) so next time I think I will try a vanilla shake. Every time I look at the photo I took of my food I want to eat it again, immediately! read more
Great value and beautiful ingredients. Feel good after eating. The place has a good atmosphere and was pretty busy when I was here. Enjoyed the experience. Didn't like the American squishy buns for burgers though and my great tasting milkshake needed a good top up. read more

Even though my order docket was misplaced, they corrected it ASAP and was apologetic. Hey, these things happen from time to time right? Burger and chips were slightly over seasoned but apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and was very satisfied. I didn't order any chicken wings but they looked amazing! I'll be sure to try the chicken wings next time and a milkshake. read more

Probably one of my favourite burger places for consistency and awesome flavours, they freshly mince the meat which you can watch in the window, and the atmosphere is pretty awesome. I usually always finish with pavlova as dessert. Whenever I'm around the area and haven't had lunch yet, this is usually my go to if I'm in a burgery mood. read more

I hadn't been to this one before, and I loved it!! I loved the outside area, which really isn't outside as it's in like a little shopping centre type place. But the inside as so cute, and more seats than I thought there'd be!! The lady that took our order was so nice too!!! Their chairs aren't that comfy though!! LOL!! But they actually have USB chargers as well, but the lights that are on the end of the bench seating along the wall where the chargers are are weird. It's like being in a library LOL! And it's awkward if you're with someone cause you have the light there between us. We used it as a spot light for the chips we were sharing LOL! But again, I love their burgers, and it didn't disappoint! https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/ShowUserReviews-g255060-d7255842-r646700822-Burger_Project-Sydney_New_South_Wales.html# read more

Tastes are good. I ordered Chilli Cheese and I like its taste. My bf ordered The Aussie, and it was not bad, except a little bit salty. But unfortunately, the sizes of the burgers were soso and each costed $11, which surprised me a little bit. I saw most of the customers ordered the chips, I thin I'm gonna try it next time. Btw, the decoration is the store is clean and clear, I like this. read more

Mmm! Now that is a tasty burger!!! First let's talk about the bun, this isn't like most burger buns that absorb any and all moisture in the room, no, this bun was soft and minimal, thin and unnoticeable. No need to pretend to be a fancy overpriced burger by putting in arugula or cheddar- it's all iceberg and American cheese over here! And it is good!!! The meat and and bun diameter perfectly mirrored one another. Meat in the first and last bite. Now that's a first! Also the vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce had a lot more flavor than I was expecting. Also also, I noticed you aussies like your chips thick! This place however does fries right! A 6/8's of a centimeter square in diameter, allowing the proper crispy edge to soft center ratio to be perfect. Not like those massive things you aussies have been forced to eat with your pies. These guys are doin it right! I'm their last customer tonight and I'll be their first customer tommorow. It surprises and pains me to say, as I am a massive believer in in-n-out burger, that this is better than in-n-out!!! Blasphemy from an Los Angeles native, but seriously, this is a tasty burger!!!! read more
Ok this place has been reviewed to death but here is my spin. You can buy a bigger burger & you can buy a burger with fancier ingredients but Burger Project keeps it simple but does it really well using the best ingredients & getting the ratios of meat, cheese, bread, condiments, salad etc spot on. If you like a burger so big & greasy that you hate yourself after this isn't the place for you or if you want to go on a bizarre peanut butter & kale flavour experiment you're going to leave disappointed but if you secretly admire the simplicity of McDonalds but made with care & quality so you can really taste the ingredients & experience the textures then you're in your happy place here. read more
Excellent. Only 4 stars because there was some room to improve. We pigged out.... Each having the bacon and cheese. Burger was perfect, bun was airy and soft. Bright, fresh tasting, produce. The salt and vinegar chips had nice flavour, but I was hoping they would be crispier on the outside, like his thrice cooked chips. The wings were super crispy outside, moist and hot inside. The sauce on the side I didn't like. It was a coagulated hot wing sauce, so the texture killed it for me. I had the salted dulche De leche shake. Great flavour, but could be better if it was a thick shake (the only type of shake that should be served with a burger. I'm a big fan, and would choose burger project over ribs n burgers any day! read more
One of the best burgers I've had, but not the best. I had the burger with bacon on it. I had read that the bacon was special as it had been aged in a particular way, but I couldn't really detect anything special. The bread was great, as was the meat, but the chips were like good chips from a cafe. The real disappointment was the salted caramel shake. It was all salt and hardly any sugar. The most unbalanced salted caramel anything I've ever had. Still, the burger was a good one but not so incredible that I need to go back. Give it a go if you're nearby. read more

Not sure that I agree with the high ratings on Yelp. I had a different impression of the Burger Project than most of the other reviewers here. The burgers are $9 plus. I had the cheese burger and was left unsatisfied, still hungry and unfulfilled - so much so that I had to have a second dinner elsewhere. For the $10 I paid, I got a measly burger which was a bun with microscopic plain tasting fillings. Complete rip-off. I don't know how they sell the burgers as they are. It's as if they made a burger without tasting it before serving it. Chips are ordinary. Decor is like that of a fast food joint. read more
Delicious burgers in an industrial chic looking space. The meat is top quality, the cheese divine, the bun perfect. Their fries are not too thin and not too thick. Looking into the kitchen you can tell that this place is a well oiled machine - staff move fast to create the perfect burger but don't appear rushed. This project is a standout success! read more

Went here today after hearing good things, have to say I was a little disappointed! Went in just after midday on a Sunday no wait at all so was happy it's that & plenty people eating. Staff weren't all that friendly so service would have to be rated as just ok they use a buzzer system so we patiently sat down and waited, The wait was fine. On initial impressions the burger looked good although a little overdone with the special sauce. Took my first bite and I was a little disappointed, the special sauce is what killed the burger I think! Really didn't work with myself or my partners palate, the rest of the burger had potential although the patty was nothing special the size was also concerning we certainly were not content. We ordered a small fries, they were a good size chip cooked well and tasty no complaints here. The highlight of the visit was most certainly the Vanilla Malted Shake! This was delicious really a winner however I wasn't a fan of the Chocolate Thick Shake it was way too cocoa-ey!! For two burgers, two shakes and a small chips it set us back $37 quite pricey! I probably wouldn't return sadly, especially after trying Five Points this week I think that it's definitely the best burger in Sydney! read more
I feel I have to update my previous review where I said the burgers were just okay- not sure if the chefs have gotten into their groove or they changed the recipe or something but these burgers are now seriously phenomenal - well worth the money. I feel like I'm back in America when I bite into the cheesy deliciousness with meat snd slightly sweet bun. Chips are still on fleek (did I really just use that in a sentence?) They've recently opened one across the road from me at work too which is not a good thing (or is it?) read more
Love love love the burgers here! The beef patties are full of flavour and the rest of the filings seem very fresh. The chicken wings are also yummy but piping hot so hard to eat in a hurry. The thick shakes are thick, but very delicious! This place is always busy at lunch time and the tables are very close together so it's hard to move around, my only complaint. read more
The burgers are definitely better at burger project! I got the fried chicken burger and the chipotle chilli fries and it was delicious - I reckon it was their secret sauce that made it so yummy. They have an open kitchen so you can see your burger being prepared fresh. It feel like a fancy fast food restaurant. Not sure about how late they open, but they'll make a great place to get food after or mid way through a night of partying in the city. read more

From Order To Table: Mediocre timing. Like a bad chapter in a good book. Service-ometer: Cookie cutterless. Rude and unhelpful. Stomachability: Good but not great. Think fancy McDonald's without the flavour. Digest suggest: Foodies should try it at least once. Came here around when it opened with high expectations. A great new decor filled the space and I had arrived just before the midday rush. Unfortunately, these were the only two pleasant things about my experience. The person at the service counter was not friendly and unhelpful, I ordered the chips, a burger and the wings to try everything out. Also some iced tea. Needless to say the burger was undercooked and the bun was so sugary I felt a high for the next two hours. The chips were a standout, really crunchy and very well portioned for price. Wings were also good, but definitely not the best - think deli quality. Iced tea was flavourless. I will not come back here as it was disappointing. read more

Far from the best (even in the CBD) On the pro side the burger (cheese and bacon) was tasty and good quality, the con being it was rather small. The "thrice cooked" chips, or fries given they're not chips perhaps should have stopped with a single cook as I only ate a few then binned them and for $3.50 a cup of Coke at least for that price give me a can. All up $17.90 and I was still hungry! I won't be back as better and less expensive burger places exist near by. This is just the latest "burgers are hip" venue just as Charlie & Co was when it opened in Westfield and no where near popular now. read more

I recently visited Burger Project and was thoroughly impressed! The menu offers a variety of creative burgers, including the mouth-watering "Bacon Project" and "Magic Mushroom" options. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, with fresh produce and juicy patties. The service is efficient and friendly, with a self-service model that works well. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone craving a great burger in Sydney! read more

The sustenance was incredible, delicious burgers with cloud delicate buns, crisp lettuce and tomato. Chips were hot and firm, and the garlic mayo plunging sauce is excessively damn great! The main minor issue we had was there were two or three things that weren't brought out. Anyway the staff were snappy and mindful and instantly settled this on the spot. To compensate for any burden, they even gave us a free concrete. read more

Still agree with my last review would like to add a couple things: The fact that they constantly have a long line of people waiting to order but only one person serving ... would of been about 11 people in line and no one helps to serve.. Thats the only annoying thing that it is constantly like this and customers shouldn't have to wait that long for service. read more

This place is a must try! For me, I'm pretty easy going with food- my attitude is if its tasty I'll come back! The cheeseburger I got as very tasty, and the chips that came with it was alright. Service is pretty speedy. Not many seats left when I went in, but thats the only downside I can think of! read more
