My home movie theater has pre-selected seating, reclining seats, 13-20 wide seats per row, and tables. So, I was a little disappointed by the upright chairs. The pop machine was cool. It had a selection of over 20 beverages that were sortable. Small popcorn is rather large. Pleasantly surprised to only share the theater with two other people. Ticket prices very reasonable. The main theatre screen is the main event here, as it has been restored to its old glory; thanks to new owners about a decade ago. It's a huge screen surrounded by art deco fixtures. The seats are comfy enough, even if they may not appear to be the cleanest. The two other theaters are rather generic boxes, the kind you'd find most anywhere else, with smaller screens. You can't beat the prices for a first-run flick: $6/adults, $5/seniors. And those are for the prime time evening shows! Wow! Concession prices are great too: $5 for a refillable barrel of popcorn! If you're ever in Lock Haven, this is a must-see! I'll give it 5 stars, for the pricing and the unique environment. Hands down, this is my family's go-to place to catch the latest blockbuster.

This is the only large movie theater within 45 min - 1 hour of Bloomsburg. Building was formerly an Ames Department Store and within the last decade received a significant renovation, bringing it up to date with other theaters. Since AMC's takeover, the entrance ticket counters have been largely unused, and you now buy them at the concession stand. Several arcade machines are spread across the lobby. Usual overpriced snacks but does not have any full meal options like other modern theaters. Concession stand now has two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Theaters have stadium seating added during the renovations. After my last few visits, I've noticed a few issues ranging from broken/permanently reclined seats, screens with marks on them, and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Seems maintenance needs to be picked up a bit. Another Yelper mentioned about too many previews before the movie and I would completely agree. Cinema Center does get a nice mix of limited release movie showings and non-movies including special TV viewings. Only twice in the last few years have I had to travel out of the area to see a limited release movie (Kevin Smith's Tusk and Shin Godzilla). Is Cinema Center perfect? No, but it's good enough.
