I filed a small claims court suit against Phil and won the judgement but he did not pay the settlement during the timeline designated by the court and made no arrangements to pay me back. I am posting this review to warn consumers about Phil Reed and his company, Reed Builders, Bellaire, Michigan. It was hard to find any reviews except testimonials on Reed Builders when checking him out. I hope this will prevent other potential customers and senior citizens like myself from getting involved with Phil Reed.

Another HVAC company quoted them an exorbitant price for a new boiler and wouldn't even consider the boiler they had. I called K & K and they came out the next day, inspected the existing piping and evaluated the setup. The following day they returned with the needed materials, installed the used boiler and had the whole system back up and running by afternoon. And their quote was quite reasonable.
