When I ordered the cashier at the counter was all smiles and just a delight to talk to, she was super friendly. She was very helpful since it was the first time being there she explained everything so it was easy to make a good decision. I ordered a flight so I was able to sample for different signature flavors. My favorite was the Midnight Coconut and Crème Brûlée. Wanted to try this coffee shop since it's literally two minutes away from our house. I had the wild berry smoothie, and my husband had the Crescent Brûlée. There are three flavors of smoothies to choose from: mango, wild berry, and strawberry. The Crescent Brûlée is a blend of caramel and vanilla, topped with whipped cream and a burnt sugar top. Both of the drinks we had tasted good. I'm not a big smoothie person--in fact, this is my first time ordering a smoothie in a long time--and I was very pleased with it. It was very smooth. Their menu is pretty extensive, in my opinion: coffee, tea, matcha, seasonal lattes, energy drinks, as well as some pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I also appreciated how easy it was to read their menu. I feel like a lot of the time in coffee shops, their menus are all over the place and you have to ask a lot of questions. This menu was nicely written. The shop has a very welcoming vibe, with different plants and displays. They also sell a few different things, such as clothes, sage, stickers, and different stones. The first thing I noticed was just how friendly and approachable the staff was even before I ordered. I've been here once before and it was the same experience. They always are excited to talk about how great their coffee is when I ask which one their prefer when I'm stuck between two great sounding coffees. I love the seating and space to sit down. multiple seating and table options. The Stardust S'mores was good! I would have preferred it to be a little sweeter though. The seasonal Gingerbread Latte was very good and packed with flavor! The sunrise breakfast sandwich was great! I loved it but my husband said it's more of an acquired taste and I'd have to agree. The egg is more of a hard boil type (which I enjoy but it's not for everyone). All around I will certainly be back for their crepes (they only sell on the weekends). read more

I absolutely loved the space- the array of crystals and different things for sale was fun to look at while we waited. I ordered an iced Apple Crisp latte with maple cold foam. It was a good latte overall, but I was really hoping for a stronger apple flavor. It tasted like a very sweet latte with some cinnamon, but no particular flavor stood out, which was unfortunate. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was okay. The egg turned out to be a hard boiled egg like smashed onto the sandwich, so the texture of both the yolk and the white stood out a lot and made it kind of strange. It wasn't bad enough to not finish, but I definitely wouldn't order it again. It's just not what you would expect for a breakfast sandwich. read more

Service was amazing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the ladies there were nothing but kind. They have a lot of goodies for sale such as crystals, clothing, and mugs. We ordered some of the signature lattes as well as their seasonal Valentine's Day menu. The drinks were delicious. I especially loved the smores latte. Always friendly and courteous service, and the tables are very thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of comfy seating options for both small groups or individuals, and even a larger meeting room. Food: Arnold Palmer: it was good, a little bitter but not bad! Crescent brûlée: a very sweet latte but it was very good, I got it with oat milk and it was a fun drink to try! Turkey pesto toastie (with egg): a good idea but very VERY pesto forward. It was a little over overpowering. I also got the egg added on for $1 but it was just a hard boiled egg smushed into the sandwich. It wasn't a bad sandwich but it wasn't the best for $9. I've been following Moon Hollow Coffee on Facebook for years--even considered making the drive out to Blair just to try it. So when I heard they were opening an Omaha location, I was thrilled (even if it's still a bit of a jaunt from southwest Omaha). I had to try the crème brûlée latte--and ordered it iced, of course. It was good! Sweet, smooth, and lived up to the hype. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by all the crystals on display. I hadn't realized that was part of their brand, but I ended up picking up a few to support them locally. Located in the Stone Ridge Plaza off 156th and Fort it's got a drive through and long and narrow seating area, with two separate areas with couches, working tables, and separate room for meetings. The menu is quite extensive, and offer a good, on trend variety of burritos, sandwiches, pastries and more. I opted for a cold brew and I will say it is a bit spendy, $5.45 for a medium coffee. Super cute ambiance, a lot of homey items, and frames, couches, and very well lit. Staff seems friendly and there are 4-5 baristas to help. They have a wonderful pastry selection with some of the best scones I've ever had. They're moist and sweet but not overpowering, the perfect balance for their creative coffee flavors. Super cute local coffee shop! I had wanted to come for a while due to an amazing recommendation from a coworker who loves to study here. The Omaha Places passport is what finally pushed me to coming and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't try any food this time but I did HAVE to try their stardust s'mores. We ordered a scone and chocolate chip bread. She tossed the bread hard enough that crumbs flew across the counter. Not a big deal I guess but a little odd.
