I was planning on getting a very small four-leaf clover tattoo. Since it would be so small, I decided to just do a walk-in. I showed him a reference photo, which was a dainty, simple line art tattoo, and I'll include a picture of it below. Instead of going off of the reference photo, he proceeded to google four-leaf clover designs and scroll until he found one I agreed to. I am obviously at fault here for not standing my ground, but I found it kind of weird and I felt too uncomfortable to say no. As he was tattooing me, I felt him pressing SUPER hard. My first tattoo was on my chest, yet it was less painful than this one was, because of how hard he was pressing the needle into my skin. I still have some raised lines on my tattoo which I'm worried is permanent scarring. I wanted fairly thin lines (like in the reference photo I showed him) but he gave me pretty thick lines, without asking me or communicating with me about it at all. Almost immediately after I got the tattoo, I noticed the ink was starting to blow out. Again, this was my second tattoo, so I already knew how to care for it properly and I followed the aftercare instructions to a T. The lines on my tattoo have blown out and become even thicker, while some spots are missing a lot of ink. It's overall very splotchy and uneven. i'll attach a photo of it below. Between the lack of communication and the seeming disregard of what I requested, I have been very hurt by this experience. I paid $118 (not including tip), and I honestly feel like I was completely ripped off. I would have been fine with paying that if the tattoo had turned out decent. Now I have to pay even more to find another artist who can try to fix it. I realize I have fault in this too for not sticking up for myself or even just leaving, but I still feel like this experience is worthy of a negative review. I don't know about the other artists working at this Beelistic location, but I would advise not to go to Ken for your tattoos.

Brian stated that because the image I was provided came from AI, it was unable to be replicated. I ended up with a tattoo that looked nothing like the reference photo. He added that he likes to "put a little of my own art" on every tattoo that he does. Within the tattoo, there was an image of a world map in which he left out a chunk of North America. I asked him why he did so, and the response was "this is the google stock image" (remember- couldn't use AI but apparently uses google). Would not recommend this artist whatsoever. (Pictures added- black & white AI vs. actual skin result). Erika on the other hand, BEST ARTIST I'VE EVER HAD. Hands down. She completed my Star/moon design on my back & my dreamcatcher on my shoulder. Our conversations were great, she added or changed every detail that I asked for before beginning the tattoo, and was very intent on making sure I liked the final product. Would promote and write her 5 stars as much as possible!!! Leo has amazing script talent. I could not be happier with the quote or mushroom he gave me. The script is a memorial piece and he was very understanding, accommodating, and professional. We added the mushie just for fun, but he did amazing on it!
