At the time I was in my mid 20's, in school, working part time with limited income. I did a consult elsewhere for lip filler and it just didn't seem practical (cost, risk of migration, more cost of dissolving and refilling, etc.) My lips weren't small, but the lack of pigment around the outer edges made them look smaller than they were. I had just gotten my brows nanobladed (which was also life changing) and started researching other permanent makeup services and came across lip blushing. I didn't (still don't) really know how to use makeup so I was looking for something that was permanent, yet natural enough to build on top of. I brought Rebecca my favorite lip gloss--the Dior lip glow--because it's designed to enhance your natural lip color and Rebecca color matched it PERFECTLY. Another reason I got lip blushing was because I was always losing my lipsticks and lip glosses, lip stains never really lasted me that long, and I felt like any pigmented lip product dried out my lips. With lip blushing I could focus on hydration and simply use a good lip balm to hydrate my lips and highlight the natural lip blushing. One thing for sure is that 6 lip balms is cheaper than 6 lip glosses and I don't get nearly as frustrated when I lose a lip balm. Attaching some photos of the before and after. I only ever did one touch up session with Rebecca a year later, and around 2022 (or later) I got 1/2 syringe of lip filler. If I still lived in Cincy I would absolutely come back to Rebecca for another session. I have seen the work of other artists where I live in California and their clients lips are WAY more swollen compared to what I experienced with Rebecca. Hopefully I'll be able to do a prolonged Ohio visit in the future and book another appointment with her!
