And I'm so glad I was finally able to visit! Such a fun way to spend several hours. From the shops to the lawn games to the food trucks, this place has it all. Carefully curated - it's very Chip and Jo. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly and welcoming. We stopped by here around 2:00pm on a Saturday in August and I thought it was going to be packed, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was busy, but I expected it to be busier. There is free parking a few blocks away, which is super nice. There are several shops, a bakery, and a coffee shop. There is something for everyone. We really loved our trip here and hope we can come back again.

Whenever I'm in Waco I always make a point of stopping at the Craft Gallery. Whether I'm looking for something for myself or shopping for a gift I always find fun, unique items. There are so many vendors under one air conditioned roof, you can comfortably shop year round. Some of the things I've purchased there are: a hand crafted wooden table lamp, lots of cute clothes, jewelry, side tables, candles, pictures, flip flops, white elephant gifts, lanyards and I'm sure there's other items I can't remember. I'm a very thrifty person and I don't like spending a lot of money on a single item. This is one of the things I love about the Craft Gallery. There is something for everyone and all budgets. Remember if you're shopping on the weekend be sure to go on Saturday since they give their staff Sunday's off (I think that's nice) so plan ahead.

My lounge wear was perfectly packed with no imperfections and the candles the same. I even scored a tshirt for $7 verses the $34 shirts at the Silo. This store is a great idea to move her clearance products and give fans with smaller budgets a good deal. Love this small well appointed store. The best gift I received free of charge was the kindness and smile of Cierra H. The cashier. She needs a raise, I'm sure she deals with difficult impatient customers all day, yet I saw her be consistently kind. Good job! Keep being great and beautiful Cierra!!!

Then this is the place. There are exhibits and working shops of different tradespeople and their crafts, i.e., quilting, woodworking, leather, soap, cheese, etc. We came on a Saturday when they have an open market at the "Barn" (a big barn where all share their crafts and finished work for sale). It was a delightful experience. All provide friendly service and attention to detail. There is no cost to visit, but you may find their wares pricey. But you need to know that everything is handmade by experts in their craft. Their Homestead Heritage Cafe serves great coffee and is a delightful place to spend some time sipping a cup of coffee or tea. The Homestead Heritage Restaurant is worth the visit (make a reservation though as it fills up).
