We were met right away by an upbeat and very friendly employee. She walked us through the whole store. She really knew her stuff! I love Metaphysical shops! I'm into crystals and jewelry. Honest, experience review for products, customer services, & pricing: First of all, Stassi & team, thank you for a pretty, informative store & overall welcoming ambiance. Overall, I do like these products, the storefront, & the brand's welcoming warmth to customers. This rating is for specific experiences that could improve. Firstly, please visibly price all items in your store. I noticed the lip balms had pricing this time, but not the last time I came. Also lip balms (for example) are priced $10 online/TikTok shop, but $11 & $11.11 in store. Also, the oils/other products have no pricing on them, this is annoying for customers who go in with a particular budget to spend. The way the oils are priced differently is also annoying. While I purchased a $22 oil, I also purchased a $33 oil of the same size. I do understand the energetic work that goes into these prices; nonetheless, it's annoying that there's no price in sight. (yes I did request a price check at cashier, STILL INCOVENIENT). And what's with the no printed receipts??? only SMS/email? Please add printed receipts that's standard business practice! Your oils are way too damn full, so much that when I opened 2 oils on 2 separate occasions, I spilled them on my clothing (yes, I opened carefully & still spilled on myself). While I do appreciate a stocked-to-the-top product & getting our money's worth, if I'm spilling the oil despite being careful, you need to fill them more carefully, maybe just a tad bit less from the top, please & thanks. Finally, customer service- the 1st time I went in, the young Hispanic lady was welcoming, polite, & down to earth. She welcomed me, made herself available & then left to attend to other duties while still in proximity. She was very pleasant & checked me &others out smoothly. My 2nd visit, this white young lady was obnoxious, she kept calling me & others "sweetie, sweetheart, love, babe" etc, when she was my age or maybe a little older/younger (I'm 30s). I understand her trying to be warm, but it came off as patronizing & smug. I don't know you like that, girl. Also, she kept bothering me & others by constantly checking in on us, "is everything ok? How are you finding everything, how are we liking those, that smells sooo good, what did you get, I love that one!, I have that one! etc?" constantly it was just too much, she was too mucyh, take your chill pills, respectfully. It came off as overbearing & interrupted my shopping experience. I go into M&S to shop in peace & spirituality is so personal. I disliked being approached constantly. She was also making conversation with customers while paying, with a line of about 11 customers waiting their turn to pay, while she talked about bullshit. She may be a nice girl, but she needs to be at the back, or training/feedback on how to read the room & meet customers where they are. She also sucked at wrapping my bag, didn't put tissue paper despite my purchase being a gift (yes I told her). She gave the person in front of me freebies for her birthday, but not me, despite also having a birthday. I hope I'm not coming off harsh, but with blunt honest feedback. The freebies/bag wrapping, etc, is a kind, courteous gesture, I understand that. All I'm saying is keep it consistent across all staff for the store to have a more consistent image of professionalism. Yes your products are good, & they are also extremely expensive. With that said, I find the pricing to be obnoxious. Please stop price increases. While I do respect your pricing & store/economy needs, I also hope you do not get greedy by continuing to charge $20 plus dollars per oil. I know energetic work is valuable & will continue to purchase. All I'm saying is relax with price increases, your customer base will shop more consistently & sustainably. Some of this store's products are more expensive than Sephora/Ulta, which is outrageous! It's the principle that's all. $33 for a 2oz spelled oil that you make in batches?? Almost $12 for lip balm???? $4 for incense that cost $1??? $30 body spray/cologne????? $8 for 1 oz of spiritual water??? ABsurd. You have printed cards that are given to customers, that request feedback with a QR code, so here it is. I also think girly/people who buy from M&S over-praise it. The shop itself is magical. From the wide variety of oils and herbs to the tarot decks, candles, and incense everything is thoughtfully curated and high quality. I get all my herbs here; they carry blends and botanicals I can't find anywhere else locally, and the prices are amazing. I especially love that every herb is clearly labeled with its uses, making it so easy to find exactly what I need. I love this store! The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and they have great offerings. I particularly enjoy the oils, but the herbs, crystals, lip balms, and colognes are great too! Each time I've gone into the store the staff have been helpful in finding me items that match my needs, whether for myself or as gifts for others. I have had great experiences with the oils in particular, I feel like they have made me more positive and have better my manifestations. We were wandering Oceanside this weekend and found Moonlight and Sage. It lured us in with the beautiful scents. I'm still kicking myself days later for not picking up some extra incense while I was there. It's a little witchy shop with tons of incense, oracle decks, crystals, oils, and so on. What was really unique was they have some of the ingredients already blended for you with simple instructions to follow. They also have jewelry and other things that would make great gifts. They have a lot of ingredients used for creating your altar and performing different spells. It was really great to see so much variety in a local storefront! I have purchased items from the online version of the shop for several years. Once Anastasia opened a brick and mortar location, I made it a goal to go out and see it in person. Sadly, I was not able to go to either one of her grand openings, however, the opportunity came for me to go to the San Diego/Oceanside area for a few days, so I emailed them to see if they were going to be opened. Sadly, it just so happened that the days I was going to be out there they were going to be closed for maintenance. when they responded to my email. They told me about the situation and said that if those are the only two days that I was going to be in the area, they would be willing to allow me to come in for an hour to shop and come see the store in person. So, my partner and I got to enjoy an hour and the most beautiful spiritual shop I've ever been in! The shelves were beautifully decorated, well organized, the entire store smelled amazing! Customer service was beautiful, and I was extremely grateful for the opportunity to see a store that I've been purchasing from online finally in person! I love everything that I've purchased from the store and I highly recommend that if you can't get into the physical shop, that you purchased some items online. I promise you won't be disappointed. Great shop Big, bright, airy, clean, friendly staff, lots to look at!!! It is downtown so parking is always wild. I did find a quick spot in front. Let's see if you'll be just as lucky. Definitely stop by and check it out. Found a handful of treasures for myself and a few for others! Always love going to new places and seeing how they lay it all out. There is another shop across the street that we like to stop by. Prices are pretty comparable to most places. Crystals and all other items are just getting more and more expensive.
