So glad to be back and I absolutely love their current office and location, which is dedicated solely to their service. Dr Nathalia Wolfe is a gem! I'm absolutely glad to be back, as I've been suffering from mild to extreme vertigo due to this overwhelming summer heat and exhaustion. Had to be treated to conventional pharmaceutical drugs several times, with no satisfactory results from prescribing Valium, mclezine, cetrizine, etc... all of which only mask the symptoms of the vertigo, which comes back and still makes me feel like I'm unsteadily moving around this fast paced world with my head immersed in a fish bowl. I would give Dr. Wolf 10 stars if that was an option. I was searching for a doctor who would look at me as a whole person. I was getting sent from specialist to specialist by my PCP but no one was looking at all the issues together and no one was actually doing anything to help me resolve my medical issues. I had two visits with Dr. Wolf, changed some minor things about my diet, added a few supplements and within a few days 90% of the symptoms I was having disappeared. My wife came in to this office to find a natural solution for skin problems. She saw Dr. Stanclift, who seemed attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Dr. Stanclift ordered a few tests to determine genetic predispositions toward certain conditions and determined that she needed larger than usual doses of antioxidants, as well as probiotics. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication, and as a result the products supplied by Vitalia were not compatible with her dietary restrictions and did not help her condition. Also, the probiotics supplied were intended to be refrigerated, which was not well communicated at the time of purchase. Vitalia did not turn out to be a good match for our situation, but the particular issue we had was resolved with no hard feelings. Make sure you do your homework and read your labels carefully no matter who you select as a health care provider. read more

I'm afraid of needles. Yup. I have "needle phobia." I also have a weakened immune system (brought on by a lot of factors, particularly stress from work...but that's another story). My poor performing immune system has caused me to develop an allergic reaction to chlorine, which inflames my respiratory tracts for weeks. I love to swim, and do so on a regular basis as part of my physical therapy, but most of the pools I swim in have chlorine. Additionally, my vitamin-deficient body reacts horribly to any kind of bug bite. While most average people I know recover within minutes from a bug bite, I suffer for weeks with painful welts and/or oozing blisters. Thus, I welcome vitamin treatment plans or supplements in all shapes or forms - particularly when they come via food. However, the last thing I welcome are vitamin treatments that come in the form of injections or IV...that is until I began natural, medicinal treatments through Vitalia Natural Medicine. After researching the different methods of delivering vitamins into the body, I discovered that vitamins delivered directly into the veins are far more effective than vitamins that are taken orally. As much as I love "eating" my vitamins, I gave this newly found information very serious consideration. Vitamins, delivered directly into the veins through injection...hmmmm... I was already receiving awesome acupuncture through Merritt Family Acupuncture, who shared the same office as Vitalia. I acquired handouts and flyers about Vitalia's services while I was there. Vitalia has a vitamin shot menu, which included a plethora of vitamin combinations at a very reasonable price. Since I have already braved my fear of needles delivered through acupuncture treatment (and I have the most gentle acupuncturist) I decided to start with vitamin Ds and Bs at Vitalia. The injection needles - well, sure they smarted a little. Akin to a very brief sharp pinch. However, I noticed an immediate boost in my energy and sleeping patterns by the first day. I graduated to other vitamin "cocktails" each week (or every other week) that included Selenium and Glutathion. My family and friends have complimented my physical appearance and mood change. Sure, I still attracted pesky bug bites, but they no longer lasted as long to heal, and they no longer looked like welts. I consulted with Vitalia's founder Dr. Natasha Wolf about my respiratory reaction to chlorine. By the way, did I mention that Dr. Wolf is such a compassionate listener? Gosh, I must have talked her ear off about all my ailments, but she is very patiently digested my concerns...particularly my fear of needles. After discussing wholistic and medical alternatives, I eventually decided to brave it out and give the vitamin C (which I was lacking) a try -- via IV treatment. Well...my first vitamin-IV experience went better than I thought! First, I'd really like to give such a compliment to Vitalia's awesome RN Erica, who administers most of my vitamin shots. I was ssssooooo scared to have the IV treatment done, but as soon as I found out that Erica would be the RN administering my vitamin-C IV treatment, my fears were not quelched mind you, but they did diminish - even though it was ever so slightly. Vitalia is very careful to provide every patient with preparatory instructions prior to the IV appointment date. I was pampered during the entire treatment, as if I was in a spa. My treatment took 45 minutes the first time, and less than that the second time. Since the first treatment, my reaction to chlorine is not as drastic. My respiratory recovery time is less than two days (prior, it took weeks or even months). I plan to continue this kind of IV treatment until my healing body's autoimmune system kicks butt when encountered by radicals brought on by chlorinated-anything! Seriously though, I'd like to speak out to other people out there who suffer from some kind autoimmune deficiency, and do not simply get enough from the usual vitamin or food supplements. Vitamins delivered directly via shots or IV are truly more efficient...and for people like myself who fear needles: well, a very gentle "boost" through the caring assistance of Vitalia's staff will sure help put you at ease when it comes time to making that important and informed decision about your health. I'm not sure how the doctors are there I couldn't seem to make it past the incompetent receptionist. I made an appointment over 2 months ago I had to cancel. I called and rescheduled on a Monday when I showed up for my appointment on Thursday she claimed I never made a new appointment. Even though I recalled our entire 30 minute conversation 2 days prior. They were not able to squeeze me in even though the mistake was on their end. I do not prefer to go to a doctors office where they can not even properly schedule an appointment. On June 19, 2015, I went to Vitalia Natural Medicine for a vitamin drip IV treatment to improve my health. In the years before, I had over 20 IV treatments and enjoyed its benefits. Dr. Michael Stanclift gave me a small bag of what he called a Meyer's Cocktail IV drip. While inserting the needle, he was unfriendly and brisk. I did not feel comfortable and something told me to stop the process and get out of there. I decided to stick it out. When the vitamin mixture was half empty, instead of the drip helping me, I started to get sick. I told him but he said it is the standard treatment. On the drive home, I felt sicker and sicker. I knew something was wrong. The experience was worse than what I received at Bloom. In my sickening condition, I drove back to Vitalia and asked him for the IV bag so I could get the ingredients tests. He refused to give it me. By the time I got home, my heart was beating rapidly, and after a couple of hours, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. My ears were ringing continually, and my chest hurt, causing my breathing to be erratic. I could hardly move and I just prayed the pain and the accelerated sensations would end. I had no energy for days. All I could do was lay on the couch and eat only when I was so depleted that I had to eat or go to grocery shopping. Needless to say, in the ensuing weeks and months, my inner health kept getting worse. I often wondered if Dr. Ward had any influence with Vitalia in giving me the toxic IV drip. Dr. Stanclift made an interesting comment that he did not mix the Meyer's cocktail mix. I wondered if he didn't make it, who else would mix it. Most vitamin IV are made when the customer comes in for the appointment. There was only a reception and him there. When I confronted him on that, he snapped at me and said it didn't matter and walked away. My experience with Dr. wolf and the Vitalia team has been a wonderful experience and continues to be. I was diagnosed with Graves' disease/hyperthyroidism in 2014 and after a few years of being in remission without any medicine, my levels went out of control and this came back with horrible symptoms. I had a decision to make, which was to see an endocrinologist that would put me back on the medicine that I had a very bad reaction to before or try to get my levels back in normal range the natural route. I am happy to say that after my first visit with Dr. Wolfe which was on 1/23/19 of this year, my levels keep improving every time I go and see her. They are getting closer and closer to normal range! My heart rate has also dropped so much as it was normally in the high 90s when resting, now it's in the 70s. I am so completely happy that my path crossed with Dr. Julianna's. I was simply looking for a new place to get my B12 shots, but ended up getting so much more. I went to DDH and met with Dr. Wolf. It was the worst experience of my life. Prior to even touching me, she determined what was making me sick. She was dismissive of what I told her about what I had been experiencing and she treated me like I was in an interogation. She was dismissive of what other doctors found and I never felt like she cared about me as a human, let alone a human with a medical problem. Spend so much time sick and then falling into the care of someone who seems so unfeeling, is difficult to describe. The nursing staff was very nice, so that is at least one possitive. But I have already taken steps not to have to go back and I would not recommend this place to anyone else. I have only the highest regard and praises for Dr. Wolf and Vitalia Natural Medicine and can't thank her enough for the help she has given my daughter. My daughter was diagnosed with a Tic disorder when she was in 1st grade. It started out very small - but progressed until by her first week of 5th grade she was shaking and making a "cough noise" literally every 5 seconds throughout her entire school day. Needless to say, we were desperate for help by this point. We saw several specialists including neurologists at Rady's, another "naturalist doctor" and her primary care physician and we even participated in a study at UCLA trying to find anything that would help our daughter.
