Prior to joining JMB, we had put in 6 previous seasons with another studio. We were forced to moved due to a work obligation and I happened to stumble upon JMB through some Facebook searches. Immediately into our first season with JMB. I noticed many, many things were not right with this establishment and how it was ran. The toxicity that is created inside of this "family" is disturbing. This "dance studio" has an almost 100% turnover rate since they have opened their doors. This sentence here should tell you EVERYTHING that you need to know about this place. My daughter is the sweetest soul. She is such an amazing little leader. Unfortunately, due to the actions inside of this studio, we needed the help of a professional therapist. I am sure the individuals at JMB are proud of this. Proud that a child needed professional help to overcome the mental abuse she endured inside of those walls. Greed over passion. The above is only a very small percentage of the issues we had in our 15 months of association with JMB. I was told during recital prep that volunteers had a system to make sure kids and parents would be identified and no one would get lost. That system turned out to be a hair band on the parents wrist. Really? No wristband with the child's name? What stopped someone from giving the band to someone else or someone using a band of their own to get a child they don't have parental rights? The inside of the younger kids room was pandemonium. Kids were getting hurt because the older kids were horsing around and not listening to the adults. I had no confidence that my 3 year old daughter would have been kept safe without me being in there.

Melissa (the owner) was also the instructor and was very thorough in demonstrating and making sure everyone was safe before proceeding. The studio is impeccably clean even tho there are cats that run the place. Loved that one sat under me the whole class time. Melissa loves what she does and has a great personality. Her customer service skills are excellent which is why my class ended up being 3 hours long but it was a relaxing 3 hours. Definitely got my moneys worth and will go back again and again and again.

I cannot recommend this dance studio enough as the main instructor is phenomenal and has some of the best choreography and standards that we have ever had with a dance studio. This studio is professionally, run and is held by high standards that they are accredited under. If you have a son that loves to dance they would really love attending here as my son is part of a great group of boys his age that all share the same love of dance and have become great friends.
